Heath smiled again. He hadn’t found Adam’s joke to be very funny, but he couldn’t complain since he had yet to open his mouth. He cleared his throat. “We’re glad you agreed to have dinner with us.”

“You know what? I think I am too.”

The genuine smile on her face made him feel warm all over. She was? He relaxed a bit as he folded his napkin over his lap. “Good.”

Adam caressed his leg lightly, and Heath shot him a warning glance. He knew Adam was getting a kick out of how nervous he was.

“I do have a question before I forget. Where did you buy the music box?”

Heath turned to Adam. He didn’t know what to say because he had no idea. After a moment of silence and another squeeze of Heath’s leg, which made
Heath
want to slap his hand away, Adam provided the answer.

“Mallory’s father makes them. I hope you’re still enjoying it.”

Mallory’s father?
Heath looked at Rose again. Her tranquil smile and the peaceful, happy look in her eyes meant something different after this revelation. A music box made by the Fey—now he knew why Adam hadn’t told him where he ordered her present. He’d nixed every gift Heath had suggested when they went shopping, and this news explained his contrary attitude. Heath should have been suspicious when even a stroll through the lingerie store hadn’t tempted Adam.

“I am. I adore it, but it won’t stop playing.”

Heath’s temper flared a little. Yesterday, she’d said she couldn’t keep the gift, but now she adored it. She’d also been reluctant to see them again, but now was perfectly at ease in their company. Mallory and Adam had hatched a scheme behind his back. Why couldn’t Adam have discussed it with him? Had he felt so certain Heath would be against it?

“Really?
Perhaps I can look at it,” Adam said.

“That would be great. We can go after dinner.” She sipped her water. “Are the words inside the name of the song?”

“Yes,” Adam said. “It’s a very old melody.”

Heath cleared his throat. “Which one is it again?” he asked Adam. He turned to Rose for a moment. “He’s good at those kinds of details, so I let him pick.” The look in her eyes told him she was so enchanted she probably wouldn’t care what they did tonight, but that didn’t mean he had to let her know something was wrong between him and Adam. Her casual invitation to come back to her place showed how much the spell attached to the box had enthralled her. He hoped it was wearing off now that she was away from it.

Come, follow me
,” he said in a seductive whisper. “You remember that one.”

“Ah, yes, I believe I do.” He sighed.
Come, follow me?
He wanted to roll his eyes. He had to admit it had a certain seductive charm, but he was angry he had been excluded from the decision. However, one look at Rose made him push his anger away. He wouldn’t ruin their chance with her just because he objected to Adam’s method of getting her to see them again, though he would try to curb Adam’s ardor if need be.

“It’s so beautiful,” Rose said. “I’ve never heard such an entrancing song.”

Their waiter arrived and took their drink and appetizer orders. Adam shifted in his chair as he looked at Heath. His look said he knew Heath was angry, but he silently pleaded with him to cooperate.

“Well, we’re supposed to be getting acquainted here,” Rose said. “I know where you two work.
Or where you did work, at least.
I work in the IT department at the downtown library.”

“Do you enjoy it?” Adam asked.

“Yes. It’s a pain a lot of the time, but it can be fun too. What did you two do before?”

“I was a science teacher. Eighth grade,” Adam said.

“And how many thirteen-year-olds had a crush on you?” she asked then giggled.

“Far too many.
I had to be very stern and forbidding to keep them at bay.”

She turned to Heath and waited for a reply.

“I was an electrician. I met Mallory one day when I fell off a building and landed on her car.”

Rose gasped. “What? Were you hurt?”

He’d actually broken a dozen bones and his neck, but one touch from Mallory had fixed that. Then she’d disappeared. He’d been rushed to the hospital despite the absence of any injuries, and she’d visited him later that night. He’d been grateful and turned on at the same time as she talked and laughed with him. A week later she’d invited him out to dinner, and his life had changed forever when she took him into her arms. He’d been a twenty-three-year-old virgin convinced he was waiting for someone special, and he’d turned out to be right in a way he never could have imagined. He would have laughed then if someone had told him how much his life and his beliefs were going to change when he fell that day.

“No. Believe it or not, I wasn’t.”

“I’d call that a miracle.”

He smiled as the warmth of nostalgia moved over his entire body. “I always have.” He looked into Rose’s eyes. Fey magic had never hurt him. He knew Rose could love them if she only let herself. Where was the harm in what Adam had done? The spell would wear off eventually. Then they’d find out what she truly thought of them. Some of his nervousness returned as he considered that.

“And we met a few weeks later. Something very bad led to something very good.” Adam met Heath’s gaze and smiled knowingly. Adam always knew what he was thinking and feeling, so he knew Adam could tell he was slowly changing his mind. Heath both loved and hated how Adam could do that. He gave him a faint but reassuring smile in return.

“That’s amazing. Life won’t be dull with you two around,” Rose said.

“Ah, have we passed the interview?” Adam asked.

Rose looked back and forth between the two of them. “I’ve never dated two men before. Never even considered what you seem to be suggesting. Will the three of us always be together?”

Heath wanted to say yes right away, but he interpreted her words “always be together” in a very different way. He gestured toward her and said, “That would be up to you. We would prefer it, but it makes sense for you to get to know us individually too.”

“We’re at your command, but I think you already know that,” Adam added as he gave her a hungry look.

She blushed, and Heath held his breath for a moment. As excited as he became every time Mallory touched him, that feeling somehow couldn’t compare to what he felt looking at Rose now. She was so beautiful. Her dark hair contrasted exquisitely with her pale skin, and her blue eyes were brighter and more ethereal than his or Adam’s. He longed to reach out and touch her hand, but he didn’t dare.

“Yes, I think I do know that,” Rose said. She took a long sip of water. “And it’s starting to give me ideas.”

Heath wanted to sweep her into his arms and get away from everyone else in the room. He longed to be between her and Adam again, to feel her moving beneath him as Adam’s weight pushed down on top of him. This time he reached over and touched Adam’s leg. The light brush of Adam’s fingers over his made him tingle all over.

* * * *

Adam took the music box from Rose and sat down on the loveseat. Rose sat beside Heath on the couch. He opened the box and pretended to analyze the interior. He knew exactly how to fix it, but he planned on taking his time. They’d had a lovely dinner. They had laughed and had fun together between the flirting and suggestive comments. He and Heath had talked in the car. He had apologized to Heath and his apology had been accepted graciously, and then he had just as graciously listened to Heath’s feelings and thoughts. The conflict going on inside Heath fascinated Adam. Heath felt what he’d done was wrong yet he was glad Adam had done it. He was glad Rose was being so receptive to them, but he didn’t want to take it too far. He’d been shocked that Adam really wanted to force Rose’s seduction even as the idea of doing so turned him on. He wanted her, but he was afraid of frightening her off by making any sexual move while she was still feeling the effects of the enchantment. The rate at which Heath’s mind worked made Adam dizzy. Heath had always been like that, and Adam knew he always would be. It made Adam love and desire him even more.

Adam kept glancing at Heath and Rose as they talked. He had his arm around her, and she’d drawn her legs up onto the couch. Her knees touched his legs, and his hand rested on her shoulder. They looked completely natural. They laughed together, and the sight and sound made Adam unbelievably happy. He knew Heath was already in love with her. He could feel himself opening to her more every second. He used his pocketknife to flip the tiny switch next to the cylinder, and the music stopped. The power the tune had exerted would cease as well. He closed the lid. He smiled triumphantly and set the music box down.

“There. That should do it.” He opened the lid, and the music started. He closed it, and the music stopped.

Rose smiled so happily he felt his heart constrict and then flutter.

“Oh, thank you!”

She got up and kissed him full on the lips, but it was a kiss of joy rather than one of desire. The brief contact left him craving more. He licked his lips as she moved back to sit by Heath. She lifted the box and smiled before setting it back down on the table and leaning against Heath again.

Heath’s eyes met his. He wanted her as much as he did, but he could also feel Heath’s desire to come over and kiss him as well. Now was the perfect moment to take her, so he had a choice to make. He could stick to his plan, or he could give in to his desires. If he did that, he and Heath would lead her into the bedroom and spend another long night loving her. He took a deep breath and stood up.

“We should be going, actually. We set out to be perfect gentlemen tonight, and if you kiss me again I know I’ll fail miserably.”

Heath looked surprised, as did Rose. She also looked disappointed, but then she smiled.
“Of course.
I believe that was my idea in the first place.” The look of longing she gave him told him she was cursing herself for it.

“Don’t worry. You’ll see us again very soon.”

“Tomorrow night,” Heath said.
“If you’re free.”

Adam felt a surge of pleasure at Heath’s proposal. He couldn’t wait to get him home now. “Yes, if you’re free.”

She nodded. “Yes. Come back here, and I’ll cook. I love to cook.”

He didn’t believe that was true based on what he’d seen of her kitchen, but he wasn’t about to argue with her. “That sounds wonderful. We’ll be here.”

They walked to the door, and she stood looking at the two of them. She turned to Heath and gave him a long and sweet kiss. Adam got hard watching their lips and tongues dance as they tasted and enjoyed each other. Then she moved to him and extended her hand.

He shook it and gave her a questioning look.

She smiled. “You said you wouldn’t behave like a gentleman if I kissed you again.”

He laughed and raised her hand to his lips for a chaste kiss. “I’ll have to act like a rake in my dreams then to get myself through until tomorrow night.”

She drew her hand away and folded both of them behind her back.
“Until tomorrow night, lads.”

They said good-bye, and she closed the door slowly behind them, watching them until the gap closed. They stood and listened to the lock click before walking toward the car.

Heath turned to him right away. “You’re going to get it when we get home.”

“Oh no, you’re the one who’s going to get it.”

Heath didn’t laugh at his suggestive joke. “Why enchant her and then leave? While it’s probably for the best, she looked very disappointed.”

“The enchantment was to get her to relax and talk to us. By tomorrow, it will have worn off,
but
she will know more about us. We’ll be Heath and Adam to her, not just the two hot guys who fucked her. I want a real seduction,” he explained, pulling Heath close as they reached the car. “The kind we had.”

Heath leaned forward and kissed him. They embraced for a long time before parting. “It is something you’re good at,” Heath said softly.

“Let’s go home. I want to be inside you.”

They raced home. Adam knew some of the traffic lights had been yellow, even red, but no one had pulled them over and they hadn’t hit anyone, so he didn’t care too much. He began pulling Heath’s clothes off the moment they were in the door. He untied Heath’s tie and then removed his shirt. He moved behind him and bound his hands with the tie. Heath moaned as he tightened the knot.

This what
you need?” Adam whispered.

“Yes,” Heath said, leaning back to brush his lips across Adam’s cheek.

Adam finished stripping Heath. He squeezed his buttocks before turning Heath to face him again. He stroked Heath’s cock and kissed him softly. He never fully embraced him. He brushed his lips and tongue over Heath’s mouth and pulled back each time Heath tried to deepen the kiss. He loved the weight of Heath’s cock in his hand. He let his other hand glide down his back and caress his ass before slipping down between his cheeks. Heath sighed, and Adam feathered kisses over his neck.

Adam stepped back and undressed very slowly. The look in Heath’s watching eyes made him feel sexy and masculine. He ran his hands over his own cock and looked at Heath. “Get on your knees.”

Heath did so immediately and licked the head of Adam’s cock. He took him in slow strokes and let his lips slide further down the shaft each time. Adam took his head in his hands and began to fuck his mouth. Heath relaxed and sighed. His tongue cradled Adam’s cock and brought him so close to release. Adam pulled back and gestured for Heath to stand.
