Adam came and sat on the couch beside Heath and put his phone on speaker. “Okay, Mallory. We can both hear you now.”

“Hello, Heath. How do you feel?” Mallory asked.

“The same.”

She laughed.
“Exactly.
Nothing
has happened to either of you. We only tell mortal employees they have to forget we were Fey if they choose to leave. Being willing to make that sacrifice proves he or she is leaving for a good reason. You boys are family, and you are welcome to visit whenever you like.”

“And here I thought you were so amazing your memory had resisted the potion,” Heath said.

“Oh, make no mistake. Nothing could ever make you forget me. How do you like your new home?”

Mallory had given them a parting gift. Her car had driven them to a beautiful cabin in the woods, and the driver had informed them it was theirs. She had also left them a note reaffirming that, as promised, they would continue to be paid as if they still worked for Fantasies Fulfilled. The Fey had promised they would never want for anything the rest of their lives, and they were indeed true to their word.

“It’s gorgeous! We love it,” Adam said. “We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place ourselves.”

“Good. I think the seclusion will fit in with your plans nicely.” She laughed.

Heath looked at Adam, who looked equally confused. “What plans?”

Mallory laughed louder. “I swear, some days you two astound me! It’s like you forget what kinds of powers I have. I know you plan to make Rose yours using whatever means necessary, including spiriting her away in the night. You really ought to have asked me for ideas. The Fey have been at it for centuries.”

Heath leaned forward on the couch. “We aren’t going to throw a bag over her head and drag her here. We have much more subtle ideas.”

“Subtle? Are the images I’ve seen your head what you call
subtle
? I’d love to see you when you’re feeling bold if that is the case.”

Heath became flustered, but Adam began laughing. Heath nudged him on the shoulder before he said, “Mallory, those are…fantasies. We don’t plan on kidnapping her!”

Adam put his hand on Heath’s arm. “She made us a promise, and we’re going to make her keep it. When the time to pay the piper comes, she’ll be more than glad to do exactly that.”

“What a delicious way of putting it! She doesn’t have any children for you to steal, so whatever will you do if she doesn’t?” Her tone implied she had a few ideas of her own already.

“That’s where the fantasies come in. It might be even more fun if she does try to run away.”

Heath raised his eyebrows. Adam’s words shocked him at first, but the more he thought about the two of them bending Rose to their will again the more he liked it.

“You’re quiet, Heath. Are you intrigued?” Mallory asked.

He smiled at Adam.
“A little.
It was fun persuading her to really fuck us instead of only pretending.”

“And how many times did each of you come?”

“I think we lost count,” Adam said.

“Then get off those gorgeous asses and go get her! It’s been a month. She wanted that boyfriend of hers gone so badly I’m sure she was over him as soon as he slammed the door.”

“She was under me at the time, so she didn’t really notice,” Adam said.

“Even better!
Love is the greatest prize of all, and under your tutelage she’ll soon see that three people can find it as easily as two can.”

The first time Mallory had slept with Heath and Adam at the same time, she’d explained that most Fey “marriages” included more than two individuals. Almost all of them included a third person and many included a fourth. She had quickly shown them that sex between more than two people could be about far more than fun and games and that it could go beyond feelings of lust and desire. The Fey had sex with mortals all the time, but they only formed these eternal bonds with other Fey. Making a home together and sharing every aspect of life was the most important part of this bond, and Mallory had given Heath and Adam the cabin so they could build this kind of life.

Adam slipped his hand over Heath’s. “We think she’ll come around quickly. We both felt the same spark from her that night.”

“Excellent! Now, I’m off. I’m taking your advice, darling, and hitting the town. I could never replace either of you, but a new adventure will do me a world of good. I’m sure it will be fun whether I find a new recruit or not.”

“Happy hunting, then,” Heath said then laughed.

“Bye, boys!”

“Bye!” they both said.

Adam hit the End button and pulled Heath into his arms for a long kiss. “It will be fun, Heath. You know it will be.”

Heath returned the kiss and wrapped his arms around Adam’s neck. “I didn’t know you were serious. I thought you were trying to turn me on with all those fantasies.” They’d spent the last month plotting increasingly erotic ways of seducing Rose into actually coming to live with them. Most of them involved one of them restraining her while the other gave her the kind of pleasure that made her scream.

“It worked, didn’t it?”

“Yes.” Heath placed a tender kiss on Adam’s lips. “I do love you. I think she’s perfect for us.”

“She is. That stubborn streak and her perfect submission under my touch—the combination made me so hard. I bet she could hardly walk the next day.” Adam kissed his neck. “I love you too,” he whispered in his ear.

Heath pulled away even though he wanted to keep going and officially christen the living room the way they’d christened the sunroom that morning. “Then we need to make some real plans.”

“Later,” Adam murmured as he pushed Heath down onto the couch.

* * * *

Rose pulled the red envelope out of the pile of mail and turned it over in her hand. It had no return address. She shook it and sniffed it. The penmanship impressed her, but it never hurt to be cautious these days. She grabbed her letter opener and slit the top. The envelope held a one-page note.

We can’t forget about our night with you, but the truth is we didn’t even try. You made us a promise, and we’re coming to see it
fulfilled
.

The note was handwritten and had been signed by Adam and Heath. She did not recognize the names. She read the note a second time, and her eyes widened as she looked at the note’s final word and realized who they were. Adam and Heath were the men from the agency, the amazingly sexy men who had fucked her silly and haunted her fantasies ever since. Her face grew hot as she remembered them touching her. She had no idea what they meant though. She had paid Fantasies Fulfilled in advance, and they had specifically said she should not tip the men or try to contact them outside of the agency. She hadn’t even known their names until this moment. They had introduced themselves, but she hadn’t really been paying attention to them at that point. They had, however, captured her full attention later in the evening.

That night had been amazing, but she hadn’t promised them anything. What did they mean? And when exactly
were
they coming? She had no way to respond to the message. Should she call the agency? Her night with them had been unforgettable, but she couldn’t afford another one. Was this a way to intrigue her and bring in repeat business? Nothing on the note or envelope indicated it had come from the agency.

If only one of them had contacted her, she would be able to persuade herself he was looking for a date, but the note was from both of them. They both wanted to have sex with her again? She imagined having group sex on a regular basis might bring two people closer, but she didn’t really understand their relationship. None of them had done much talking that night. They had been focused on her, but she did remember they had kissed often and kept exchanging glances. It was none of her business if they were into each other outside of work, but what the hell did they want from her?

She picked up her cell phone and dialed the agency. To her surprise, her call went straight through to Mallory Le Crosse’s office.

“This is Mallory. How may I help you?”

Rose hesitated. “My name is Rose. I used your service last month, and I received an odd message today.”

“What kind of message?”

“The two men you sent me, Adam and Heath, wrote to me, and I’m not sure what the note means.”

“Adam and Heath are no longer with us.”

“Oh.” Had they been fired? Had they left on their own? “They didn’t leave me any kind of contact information. I don’t understand their note, so I need to get in touch with them.”

“They’ll be in touch with you, darling. Don’t worry.”

Rose didn’t know how to respond at first. “I don’t think I’m making myself clear. The note says that I promised them something, and they are coming to see that I fulfill my promise. I didn’t promise them anything.”

“Are you sure? You should watch what you say then. When the time to pay the piper comes, it’s always best to live up to your word.”

Mallory’s tone wasn’t hostile, but she did sound like she knew more than she was letting on. Her last words came off as playfully threatening. “Ms. Le Crosse, do you know what they’re talking about? You sound like you do.”

“Yes, I do. You’ve captured the hearts of two extraordinary men. They left Fantasies Fulfilled to be with you. I suggest you keep your word.”

Her temper flared. “I didn’t promise them anything, and I certainly didn’t make them quit! They left here without saying one word about contacting me again in any way.”

“I’m sure they’ll remind you of what you said when they arrive. You don’t know how lucky you are, my dear.”

“What kind of operation are you running? Do your employees usually latch onto clients like this? That night was amazing, but I’m not looking for regular servicing here. You tell them I’m not interested.”

“You’ll have to tell them yourself. They don’t work for us anymore.”

She could not believe what she was hearing. “But we met under your watch. You should accept some degree of responsibility given the type of services you provide. I paid more than enough to expect that much.”

“You don’t want to see them again? Not even a little bit?”

She remembered very clearly how handsome and well built both men had been. She also recalled how amazing they had been in bed together. She’d
orgasmed
over and over again, and she’d done things she’d never imagined herself doing, but that didn’t mean she wanted these two virtual strangers in her life in any capacity. Maybe she had been fantasizing about seeing them again, but it hadn’t meant more than that.

“They are unbelievably hot, and the sex was phenomenal. The idea isn’t repulsive, but this situation is very strange. I have good reason to question their actions, especially as they are now free agents.”

“I’m sorry, darling, but you’ll have to question them in person. We cannot help you. They moved out a few days ago.”

“Fine then.
Just know that if you refuse to help me I’ll hold your company responsible if anything happens to me or my property.”

“We understand each other perfectly. Have fun.” Mallory hung up on her.

Rose let her breath out in a huff. Mallory hadn’t been rude, but she had been incredibly unhelpful and flippant. Rose racked her brain. She still didn’t remember promising them anything. What in the world did these two guys want from her?

Chapter 2

Adam smiled as he went into the bedroom and found Heath lounging on the bed reading. According to what Mallory had just told him, Rose was not going to come along quietly. He couldn’t wait to see her again and remind
her what
she had promised them. He knew combating all of her excuses and arguments would be fun.

Heath looked up from the book he’d been reading. He put his bookmark in when he saw the smile on Adam’s face. “What?”

“Rose got our note and immediately called Mallory to ask what we wanted. She seemed to believe this was some ploy to get repeat business or entangle clients.”

“What did Mallory tell her?”

“She informed her that we no longer work for Fantasies Fulfilled. She also told her what we want.”

Heath sat up. “What exactly did she say?”

“She told Rose that she had captured our hearts.”

“Really?
I would have expected her to say we were coming armed with handcuffs and whips to whisk her away to a life of ravishment.”

Adam laughed. “I’ll admit I expected something like that too. Rose got rather upset with her. However,” he said, sitting next to Heath, “she did get her to admit that she thought we were hot and that we had an amazing night together. She’s apprehensive about seeing us again though.”

“So our note did intrigue her?”

Adam nodded.
“Looks that way.
She thinks the whole situation is odd, but Mallory believes she’ll come around with the right kind of persuasion.”

“So what’s our plan then?
Any ideas?”

“A romantic date, something very special and unique.
We send her another note, or maybe a present. We bring her here or maybe let Mallory book a place for us.”
