ead the book of Ruth looking for things that are repeated and/or emphasized. Remember that emphasis can be determined by the amount of space allotted to a story, a stated purpose, the designated order of events, or movement from the lesser to the greater or vice versa. For example, why is Ruth such a “feel good” book in spite of all the tragedy at its beginning? Where does it get such a positive emphasis?
