Dawn

"We need to get up
.  We have a lot to do.  Jackson and Cade will be back soon.  We have a serious issue to deal with this morning," Phoenix told him quietly.             

Gabe
rolled back over and groaned.  “Okay, I'll go shower and get ready.”

Phoenix
said, “I will too.  We can let Jasmine sleep until we are done.”

“
Nope.”  They heard Jasmine say from under the pillow her face was currently buried in.  “I am up.”

When Jasmine made it downstairs, everyone had returned

They all talked about every day things while they ate and then the men excused themselves to go to Phoenix's office to discuss what had happened the day before

"Have you found out anything?
” he asked.

Jackson shook his head
.  "We called the diner and then some of the others but couldn't find anyone who saw the woman."

"She told Jasmine we need to be 'put down'

"More to the point, she also told Jasmine they were watching us
.  They knew exactly how long she had been here on the ranch.  They have been watching us for a while," Gabe commented.

"We are going to go into town and ask around later
.  Maybe someone saw something or has noticed some strangers around," Jackson informed them.

Phoenix nodded
.  "I spoke to Cord and he said they would arrive around lunch.  They can join you in trying to figure this out.  Things are delicate right now with Jasmine and we don't want to leave her at this time."

"We understand
.  Take the time.  We will get to the bottom of this," Cade assured them.

Phoenix sat down at his desk
.  "I am deeply disturbed by this unknown.  We need to make sure to spread the word to the people.  Everyone needs to be hyperaware of what is going on."

"I agree
.  We will get the men to make the rounds.  Everyone will be alerted by dinnertime," Jackson said.

The meeting broke up, Jackson and Cade heading to town to do some digging and Phoenix and Gabe went looking for Jasmine
.  They found her out on the back porch, sitting alone on the porch swing.  They sat down on either side of her as she smiled at them in welcome.

"How did your meeting go?"
she asked.

"As well as it could
.  Jackson and Cade are going into town to try to find this woman or anyone with her," Phoenix told her.

"Do you want me to go with them
?  I could point her out if I see her.  I'm the only one who knows what she looks like," Jasmine offered.

Gabe shook his head as Phoenix said, "Absolutely not
.  We want you to stay here and be safe.  We will find those who wish our people harm."

Jasmine smiled at them both

Gabe glanced around
.  "Where is Sophie?"

"She had some work she wanted to do on the computer
.  She said she wanted to research our pasts and see what she could find out,” Jasmine said.

Phoenix frowned at her

Gabe laughed
.  "In case you have forgotten, that is what we do."

Jasmine smiled
.  "Thank you.  I appreciate that.  I will speak to Sophie."

"So Keni and Olivia are coming tomorrow, right?" Gabe asked.

Jasmine nodded.  "Yes.  I am so excited to see them.  I miss them.  Plus, I can't wait for them to meet you guys."

Phoenix chuckled
.  "You do remember that it was Keni and Olivia who hired us to come find you.  They have met me."

”  Jasmine was at a loss as to what to call them.

"It means that you were meant for us, to be ours forever
," Gabe said.

Then
Phoenix stood, scooping her into his arms and began to stride off into the yard.  He continued walking for some time, refusing to answer her questions as to where they were going.  They broke through a stand of trees and there was a beautiful pond, with wildflowers all around.  A peaceful place that she fell in love with immediately.  She heard a noise behind them and glanced back to see Gabe come striding up.

Phoenix placed her on a log near the pond and knelt in front of her
.  Then Gabe knelt, too, and they both held one of her hands.

"Jasmine Dupree, we are beyond happy to have found you, our life mate

Jasmine's eyes filled with tears and she nodded

Gabe slipped the ring on her finger, which fit perfectly

Then it was Gabe's turn and he did not disappoint

Jasmine was so awed by their passion and their romantic side that she said a silent prayer that they would always be like that

"I vote we go back to the house and have some love time

Jasmine laughed
.  "Love time?  Really?  We can't, there are people there."

, but what you don't know is that your room has been soundproofed for that very reason," Gabe informed her.  "There will always be people in the house and we will always want you.”  He growled the last bit.

Phoenix nodded his agreement

They traveled at a speed that surprised Jasmine, making it back to the house in half the time it took to get to the pond
.  She looked behind them and saw Phoenix was right there with them.  Gabe set her down gently on the porch and opened the back door for her.  As they walked into the kitchen, Lucy was there, cooking as usual.  She turned to them as they came in.

Jasmine laughed and flashed her hand at Lucy
.  "Just perfect.  We're getting married."

," Lucy exclaimed and hugged Jasmine.  She wiped at her eyes with her apron.  "I am so happy for you.”  She hugged the men and said, "Your mother is going to be so excited."

Phoenix laughed
.  "Well don't tell her, we don't want her to descend on us with all her ideas just yet."

"Oh
, I will leave that for you to do, but I would love to be a fly on the wall," Lucy said laughing.

"Don't get an ideas
," Phoenix admonished and they all laughed.

"We are going to go upstairs
, we'll be down in a while," Gabe said with a wink as Jasmine blushed to her roots.

Lucy nodded and said, "I won't hold lunch, or dinner for that matter.
”  She turned back to her cooking as Gabe pulled Jasmine up the stairs with Phoenix following.
