Read I Won't Give Up on You Online

Separating from him, I rest my forehead on his.
“Bre, if you don’t stop, I’m going to have to take you into that supply closet and have my way with you.”
I look down at him with a devilish grin. Before I can take him up on the offer, Sara comes up behind Caston and tickles him, making him move quickly to set me down. Beth races up and starts to drag me away laughing.
“I’ll take you up on that offer next time,” I yell as I continue down the hall. “I love you, Caston.”
“Love you more, Sabrina.”
His smiling face is the last thing I see before I get into the limo.
Beth is the last one in and, once she’s seated, she pops the cork on the champagne. A small squeal escapes us. Pouring a round of bubbly into our glasses, Sara gives me a quick hug.
“Let’s toast.” Sara says.
She places her free arm around my shoulder, and Beth places her hand on my knee, squeezing it.
“To Sabrina and Caston, may their life together continue to be sexy, spontaneous, and fulfilling. To putting the past behind them and moving on stronger.”
We clink glasses. It gets quiet in the limo. I sigh.
“Okay, that was a mood killer, huh?”
Sara and I just laugh.
“Let’s try this again.” Beth refills our glasses and continues. “To Sabrina. May her life be filled with an unlimited amount of sex, earth shattering orgasms, and may it never get dull or lifeless. May our weekend be crazy, and remember what happens on the trip stays on the trip.”
“Wooooooooo Hooooooooo!” Sara squeals, and we all laugh, drinking the next glass of champagne.
After a little gossip about the club my curiosity is getting the better of me.
“Where are we going?” I laugh.
“Nope, not telling you,” Beth says. Sara and she exchange a glance.
My eyebrow arches. “What do you two have planned? I’m afraid.”
My email pings on my phone again. I reach into my purse to check it, but Sara intercepts it and steals my phone.
“But, work. You just pulled me out without being able to put the out of office notification on my email or close up my work.”
She shakes her head. “First rule, no cell phones. This is a girls’ weekend only.”
I cross my arms over my chest, like a pouting three year old. My nerves are already shot and this isn’t what I need.
“Please, just let me call Caston and my assistant to get everything taken care of, then I promise you can take my phone.” Pausing before I make any rash promises, I ask, “Do I at least get it at night?”
They share glances, unspoken words pass between them. I can tell they’ve already had decided they weren’t going to let me. Just when I think I’m going to lose this battle, Beth turns to me and holds up her hand.
“Okay, one call. Decide, Caston or your assistant, not both. Then we get your phone. I’m not promising you’ll get your phone at night. We don’t want you thinking about any wedding stuff this weekend.”
I clap my hands, since I got my way. Grabbing the phone from Sara’s grasp, I playfully stick my tongue at her.
Sara grabs my hand before I can dial and pulls me into her. I quickly glance at Beth because she isn’t aware of how close Sara and I really are, but thankfully she’s not looking because she’s playing with the stereo.
Looking back at Sara she leans in to my ear and whispers, “Better watch that tongue, or I’ll put it to better use.”
My breath catches in my throat, and I swallow hard. She backs away and moves to help Beth with the music, leaving me some privacy to make my call.
I take a few deep breaths to calm myself before I dial Caston.
“Sabrina, what’s wrong?” he answers on the first ring.
“Nothing. I need you to do a few things for me that I didn’t get to do before I was rushed out of my office.”
“My God, baby, I was worried. Sara and Beth told me the no cell phone rule, so having you call scared the living daylights out of me. Thank God you’re okay.”
I scoot closer to the window to try to get more privacy. “I’m fine, not happy about the no phone rule, but excited to get away.”
Hearing him chuckle makes me smile. I love that sound.
“So, can you do a few things for me?”
“Of course, baby, what do you need?”
“Okay, can you please set my out of office on my email?”
“Of course, I can. I’ll have my assistant do that right away.”
I hear him shuffle some papers around.
“Caston, I need you to do it. Please? I’m only given one call, like I’m in prison, and I want you to do it personally.” I happen to pull out my whiny, sing song voice that gets him every time.
“Sabrina, you know you don’t have to beg, but I sure like when you do.”
I smile and glance out the window. “You do? What does it do to you?”
“Oh Sabrina,” the words are more of a plea, “you have no idea.”
Beth slugs me on the shoulder to get my attention. “Ouch!”
“Time’s up, Bre.”
“No.”
Sara responds, “Oh yes, plus we don’t want to hear phone sex between you and Caston.”
Hearing the girls, Caston starts laughing. “I’ll let you go, babe. If they give you the phone back, call me and we can do it right.”
“Fuck.” I let my head fall back onto the seat. “Damn it, Caston, now I’m horny.”
This sends the girls into a fit of laughter.
“Go, have fun, be safe, and I’ll take care of everything. Personally.”
A smile splits my face. “Thank you, honey. I love you.”
“Love you too, Bre, more than you will ever know.”
I hang up my phone and unwillingly hand it over to Sara.
“Okay, I’m all yours. Do whatever you want to me.” I hold my hands up in surrender with a huge smile on my face.
I may pretend that I’m upset about this impromptu trip, but I’m only trying to put up a tough exterior. I’m jumping up and down on the inside.
Beth pulls some cheesy bachelorette items from her purse and places them on me. I’m now decked out in a plastic tiara, sash, and light up ribbons pinned to my shirt.
Before they can do anything, else we pull up to the airport and Caston’s private jet is sitting on the tarmac waiting for us. I turn to them with eyes wide.
“Okay, spill it. You know I hate flying.”
We step out of the limo, and the stewardess greets us.
“Welcome, ladies. The flight looks like it will be a smooth one and the masseurs will be set up in the bedroom once we hit cruising altitude.”
“Eeeek!” Beth bounds up the steps, leaving Sara and I behind. “Come on slow pokes!”
Sara holds out her hand to me. I place my hand in hers, and we walk up the steps together.
They still haven’t told me where we are going. “Before I go any further, I want to know where we are going.”
“Don’t worry, Sabrina, it’s Caston approved,” Sara teases.
“Should we just tell her?” Beth asks as she sets her purse down.
“Yes!” I demand.
“Damn, Bre. When did you get so demanding?” Beth walks up to me and puts her hands on my shoulders.
I just glare at her.
“Okay, fine. We’re going to Caston’s house in Mexico.”
My mouth falls open.
Sara interrupts, “Riveria Maya, Mexico to be specific. It’s around Cancun. He has a villa on the beach. It’s fully staffed, so it’s kind of like our own personal resort.”
I blink a few times with my mouth still hanging open.
Laughing Sara and Beth, link arms with me. “Okay, I think we have officially shocked her. Let’s get this party started.” Once the pilot announces we can move about the cabin, they lead me back to the bedroom where three really muscular, tan men are setting up massage tables for us. I’m sure they weren’t Caston approved.
Sara gasps at the sight of the men. “Holy shit, this is going to be a weekend for the record books.”
I wave goodbye to Sabrina and the girls before turning to head back to my office. Laughing on my way up, I can only imagine what Sara and Beth have up their sleeves. Maybe it’s better that I don’t think about it.
After Bre’s brief phone call, I pour myself into work. Anything to keep my mind off of Sabrina. I know that I won’t hear from her for a few days because Sara’s taking her phone hostage. Back to back meetings, a few model scouting portfolios, and the work day is done. Clearing off my desk, I stand to the leave when I remember what Bre asked me to do.
I walk to the other side of the building and into her office. All the lights were on and she did, in fact, leave the computer on. Laughing to myself as I look over her desk of organized chaos, I pull up her email.
I’m dumbfounded when I see three emails from Broc today. Wondering how often she talks to Broc, I sort her emails by sender. I’m relieved to see these were the only ones. Wondering why he emailed her today, I open the first one up.
Sabrina—
I wanted you to know that I’m worried Mark is up to something. Please call me. Same number as always.
Broc
My heart starts racing. No, this can’t be happening. I click the next one.
Sabrina—
I know I just sent you an email, but I was worried that you are just ignoring me. Please call me.
Broc
I call Terrance, informing him that as soon as the plane is back from dropping off the girls, I want it refueled and ready to head back. Clicking open the next email, I paraphrase the emails to him, so he knows what’s going on.
Sabrina—
He’s been at Beth’s apartment. Please.
Broc
The phone rings three times. I’m chewing on my thumb and tapping my heel on the ground, willing him to answer his phone.
“Hello?” Broc answers with a question in his voice. I’m sure he didn’t recognize the phone number.
“Broc? This is Caston Black.”
“Ah, fuck man. I emailed Sabrina to talk to her. Why’d she have to get you involved?”
I bang my fist on Sabrina’s desk, sending a stack of paper sliding off the side. “Listen up, dipshit, Sabrina didn’t get me involved. I happened to check her email because she’s unavailable. Tell me what the fuck is going on.”
I can hear Broc take a deep breath, possibly deciding what he wants to say to me. Then he begins saying that he’s been trying to get Beth back. I wanted to laugh out loud when one of his ways to get her back was to spy and stalk her. I’m shaking when he tells me that a few weeks ago he saw Mark coming out of Beth’s apartment.
“You’ve sat on this information for weeks? Are you insane?” I seethe.
“I’ve been trying to decide what to do. I knew deep down she couldn’t be seeing him, but what he would be doing coming from her house has me baffled.”
Getting up, I’m trying my best to not punch a hole in the wall. “Look, Broc. We’re on the same side. I will make sure Beth stays safe too, but I need you to try to find out more from Mark. Can you do that for me?”
He stays silent for a long time. So long that I check to see if the phone hung up. “Broc, look, you’re either with me or against me, but with me we can make sure the women we love are safe. What’s it going to be?”
Taking a deep breath Broc whispers, “Fine what do you want me to do?”
