I squeezed my eyes shut as I allowed the
pleasure of his pumping erection to take hold of me, rocking my
aching core and creating new rhythms in my body. I moaned over and
over, each thrust creating new ripples of pleasure that I just
couldn’t contain.
“When you moan I get so hard,” he breathed
lustily into my ear, speeding up the tempo of his pounding cock. I
gasped at his dirty talk, lifting my hips to take in more of him,
yearning for every inch of his turgid manhood.
“Well, looking at you makes
me wet enough to come,” I replied, opening my eyes to take in every
inch of his perfect countenance. He didn’t look so calm just then,
but rather wild and savage like a beast. His golden hair, the
menacing shadow of his eyes...he
was
a lion. I shivered at the realization that the
beast I had seen earlier was now the man inside of me.
“You’re mine,” he growled. I couldn’t think
straight, the dizzying need to come again the only thing that
consumed me.
“I’m yours,” I responded. “I’m c-completely
yours.”
I was losing it all over again, and I
couldn’t help that my eyes were fluttering closed.
“Look at me,” he commanded, and I did,
crying out as he increased his speed, ramming into me so hard that
the headboard behind us smacked into the wall. I felt like the
whole house was rattling with our passion.
“I love you,” he said, and lightening struck
through my core, bringing me to unexpected orgasm.
“I’m coming!” I cried out, my eyes stinging
with tears. For a moment I couldn’t recall who or where I was. I
was completely lost in the moment of abandon.
Dalton caught my mouth in a kiss, moving
slowly again as his hands roamed the curves of my body. My chasm
rippled around him as I came down, and I was made aware of the hot
perspiration on the back of my neck.
“We’re not done yet,” he murmured, kissing
my neck and moving down to the hollow beneath my chin. “You’re in
for a long night.”
Epilogue
Everyone I know says that weddings are
stressful, but I couldn’t feel like that was further from the
truth. In my long white gown, the one I had inherited from my
mother (and altered so that my cleavage showed a bit—hey, I know
what Dalton likes), I felt like a true princess, ready to greet her
Prince Charming.
I turned to my father as we stood behind the
set of heavy doors. He smiled at me warmly and my stomach burst
with anxious butterflies.
Everyday until this day was a whirlwind of
excitement; we had to get ready for the wedding so fast, before
Dalton left again. We somehow managed to plan the whole affair with
only two days to spare.
Which was enough for a honeymoon if you
spent the whole thing in a bedroom. Which of course, we fully
intended to do.
The two ushers, my little cousins Nick and
Jeffrey, opened the doors for the small train of people to walk
through. Dalton’s sister, my cousin, and Shannon in a whirl of
gorgeous dresses they unbelievably pulled out of their closets.
Dalton’s brothers and his best friend, Tim, accompanied them,
looking dazzling in dark, neatly pressed suits.
Finally, it was our turn. My father squeezed
my hand before linking my arm into his and setting off for the
stretch between the church pews. I lifted my gaze upwards and could
see no one but him, perfect as ever in his midnight black suit, his
hazel eyes gleaming with pride and tenderness.
I saw her and it was like I was seeing an
angel for the first time. In a world filled with darkness, which I
had seen firsthand far too many times to count, I was permitted
suddenly to see the light, to see what all that suffering was
really for.
It is for those fleeting moments in which we
can live to express our love. It’s for the most beautiful woman in
world moving towards me, a world of perfection in a long, white
dress.
She is purity and love incarnate. I knew
then, as I now remind myself frequently, that I am the luckiest man
alive.
She came to stand before me, her dark, round
eyes brighter than I had ever seen them, and I couldn’t understand
a thing the minister was saying. I knew then that she was pregnant.
She might not know yet, but the bond between us and my animal
instinct told me.
I beamed at her, teeming with the secret
knowledge, and she bashfully dropped her gaze before bringing it
back up to me.
Before I knew what was happening the words
“I do,” left my lips, like in a hazy dream. She parroted my
vow, tears stinging at her eyes, and she flung her arms around me,
the edge of her bouquet tickling my neck.
All the secrets I carried melded into that
kiss. It would be years before I could tell her everything about
the things I’d seen, the scars. We had a child to raise and one
day, a pride to lead.
But in that moment we had a
kiss, and a glimpse into forever.

Life can be a little complicated
when...
your boyfriend sucks, your best friend since
elementary school is basically the man of your dreams, and a
totally gorgeous rock star is pursuing you cross country and you
have no idea why. Oh, and you're kind of addicted to pizza and a
full moon is around the corner.
This is my life right
now.
Maybe I shouldn't have decided to go on
tour with Bad Moon as their manager. Maybe I should have stayed in
my hometown and looked for a marketing job with good benefits and a
401k. All I can say is that my bachelor's degree and color-coded
planner can't protect me from the fiery throes of rock n' roll,
lust, and werewolves...and I kind of like it that way.
