“When I give you an order, little one,” he scolded, “I expect you to obey. You were told not to go down to the club for a very good reason.” He watched her ass redden, the heat growing beneath his hand.

She groaned, stilling in her movements on Sam’s cock as he started spanking the crease where her ass met her thighs.

“Keep going,” he told her. “Don’t you stop!”

Reaching over, he picked up the paddle he kept in a bedside drawer and smacked it down on her bottom.

She jolted, crying out.

“Stay still. You can do it,” he encouraged her as he spanked. “I love you so much. You frightened the hell out of me. Don’t ever.” Smack! Smack! “Ever.” Smack! Smack! “Do this to me again.” Smack! Smack! Smack!

He continued to paddle her until her butt was bright red and swollen. Tears were rolling down her face as she continued to suck on Sam. Small, muffled cries filled the room

Roarke threw away the paddle, his chest heaving with each breath. Then he drew her up and sat back on his ass, pulling her onto his lap to hold her close.

“You hear me?” he said kissing her face, the top of her head. “Don’t you ever scare me like that again.”

“I promise,” she sobbed. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

Sam joined them and he drew the other man into his embrace, just holding the loves of his life close.

Sam lay on his back, smiling as Ava climbed over him. Grabbing the base of his cock, she guided him into the soft haven of her hot pussy. Roarke had already taken out the plug and was watching on, ready to join them.

“Ahh,” he groaned. “That feels so good.”

“Lay still,” Roarke warned them both. They stilled. “Sam, reach around and hold open Ava’s butt cheeks.”

Ava winced as he grabbed her cheeks and he kissed her soothingly. Not that she really deserved it. Roarke wasn’t the only one she’d terrified with her trip to the club.

“Relax, baby,” Sam whispered as Roarke pushed his way inside her.

“So tight,” Roarke moaned. “Sam, get ready to move.”

Sam drew out and Roarke thrust in. They set up a rhythm, in and out, driving deep. Sam watched Ava but saw nothing but pleasure on her face.

“Oh, oh,” she cried.

“Sir, I’m close,” Sam called out.

“Me too,” Roarke grunted. “Her ass is so tight. Sam, help her out. Little one, you’re coming with us.”

“Please, please,” she cried out as Sam slipped his hand between their bodies to circle her clit. “Yes!”

“Come now,” Roarke groaned.

Sam surged forward, finding heaven as Ava clamped down on him, her passage rippling around his cock.

With a shout, his balls tightened, his legs tingling as he came.

“Dammit, Sam, what the hell were you thinking?”

Ava hurried up the stairs and into the living room. She’d never heard Roarke yell like that, not even after her venture into the club two weeks ago. It turned out Rory had found out that it was Ava who’d told on her to Alex about how she’d been treating Tilly, so she’d decided to get some revenge, even going so far as to hire someone to slash Alex’s tires. She’d been banned from the club, and Roarke had sent out the message to all other BDSM clubs in the state. She’d be lucky to get into any club now.

She came to a shocked stop as she found Sam and Roarke face to face, glaring at each other. The blinking Christmas lights seemed to mock the anger in their faces.

What the hell was wrong?

“Something you should have done years ago,” Sam yelled back. Oh my God. This was worse than she’d thought if Sam was yelling. Sam was the most easygoing guy she knew. “Only you were too damned scared to.”

Oh bubbles.

Roarke took a step forward and she squeaked as she jumped forward to quickly get between them, terrified that fists were about to fly.

“Ava, get out of the way,” Roarke ordered as he glared at Sam.

“Uh-uh, no way,” she replied, shaking her head. “What is going on here? I could hear you guys down the stairs.”

“Ava, move,” Sam ordered. “This is between Roarke and me.”

“Well, now it’s between the three of us. Talk to me.”

Roarke stared down at her, his eyes blazing. “Ava. Move. Now.”

Every inch of her screamed that she should obey him, but she stood her ground, throwing her shoulders back in a fake show of bravery.

“No. Not until the two of you calm down. Now what is going on?”

Roarke turned his attention to Sam. He pointed his finger at him. “You had no right to do this.”

“Someone had to. They’re your family, they miss you. It’s Christmas. It’s time to let go.”

Without a word, Roarke turned and walked away. Ava stared after him.

“Well,” Sam said sadly. “That went well.”

Sam sat on the sofa, Ava beside him, holding his hand as she stared at him worriedly.

“I can’t believe you did that. I can’t believe you called Roarke’s family and invited them here for Christmas.”

“Can’t believe I’d be that stupid, huh?” Sam said, rubbing his guts. Damn, he’d expected Roarke to be angry, but he hadn’t imagined that he’d storm out of the house. He’d figured Roarke would yell, glare, punish him. But leave? No, he hadn’t seen that coming.

Christ, what had he done? What if Roarke never forgave him? What if he’d made the wrong decision completely? His gut burned and he continued to rub it.

“No, I can’t believe you were that brave, I’ve been trying to work up the guts to do something about the rift between Roarke and his family for ages. It’s stupid. They’re all hurting for no reason.”

Sam sighed, gratitude almost bringing tears to his eyes. “Yeah?”

“Yeah. I know it doesn’t seem like it at the moment, but you did the right thing. This needs to be resolved, even if Roarke can’t see that at the moment.”

“I’m glad you agree with me. Because they’re due at the airport in forty minutes.”

Ava kept up a steady stream of conversation in the car, which Sam was eternally grateful for. He was so nervous about Roarke’s reaction once they got home that he could barely get any words past his lips.

Roarke probably thought there was time to tell his parents that they couldn’t come, not realizing that they were right now pulling into his driveway.

“This is beautiful,” Roarke’s mother, Anna said.

He and Ava hadn’t tried to explain their relationship with Roarke, yet another minefield he hadn’t thought about how to navigate through. A bit like explaining that they lived above a BDSM club.

And how their son didn’t actually want them here.

They climbed out of the car and Sam grabbed their bags while Ava led them inside and up the stairs.

“So, is this just a house or one of those clubs Roarke owns as well?” Roarke’s father, Joseph asked as they moved into the living room.

Ava’s jaw dropped as she turned to look at them. “You know about the clubs?”

“Oh yes, dear,” Anna said. “We’ve always known about Roarke’s clubs. Are you both in a relationship with him?”

Sam gaped down at the sweet, motherly looking woman in front of him, her salt and pepper hair pulled back in a bun, lines around her eyes and face only adding to the character of her face.

Ava stared up at Sam then at Anna and Joseph who stood patiently.

“Yes, we are,” she said quietly.

Both of them smiled and Anna grabbed each of their hands. “I’m so glad. Roarke deserves some happiness in his life.”

Joseph nodded solemnly. “We did wrong by Roarke, we were so caught up in our own grief, we failed to see how Austin’s death was affecting him and by the time we came to grips with everything, well, he was so deep in his own guilt that we couldn’t reach him. This rift is all our fault.”

“It was my fault that Austin died,” Roarke said from the doorway, his voice filled with pain.

Anna turned with a gasp, her eyes filling with tears. “Oh, Roarke, how could you think that? Of course it wasn’t your fault.”

“You blamed me.”

“No, son,” Joseph said. “We were grieving and we were wrong. We never blamed you, but we did leave you to make a horrible decision. And then when we realized what was going on we couldn’t seem to reach you to fix it.”

“Maybe we should leave you guys alone,” Sam said, picking up the bags. Ava grabbed his arm, following him out.

Roarke stopped them at the doorway. “You two are in so much trouble.”

Epilogue

“Oh my God, I don’t think I’ve ever been so exhausted in my life,” Ava said as she climbed into bed.

“Me neither.” Sam cuddled in close to her.

Roarke stood over them, hands on his hips. “Really? Because we still have a bit of business to take care of,” he said sternly.

Ava opened her eyes, staring up at him. “What?” she asked.

They’d just dropped Roarke’s parents off at the airport after a two week stay. Their relationship wasn’t fully healed yet, but time would take care of that. Ava had loved having them here; they were two of the sweetest people she’d ever met. But at the same time she was glad to be alone with her two men.

She couldn’t believe she’d made it through the Christmas period without chewing and spitting once. Oh, there had been some close calls. But this time of year was generally really hard for her. All the Christmas cheer usually reminded her of what little family she had and the excess of food available would make her panic.

But this year, she’d had her family close. Not just Roarke and Sam. Roarke’s parents had made sure that she and Sam understood that they considered them part of their family.

A family.

“We’ve got to deal with the fact that Sam went behind my back and called my parents without my permission. And then you both went and brought them back here without telling me.”

Ava gulped. Seemed they weren’t going to sleep right now.

A smile broke out on Roarke’s stern face. “Thank you. Both of you. This is the one and only time I will say this. But I’m glad you disobeyed me.”

He sat on the bed and drew them close.

“Thank you,” he whispered. “I love you both so much. You’re my everything. I never thought I’d forgive myself or that I would get my family back. For a long time, I figured that I’d live the rest of my life alone in atonement for Austin’s death. Then I met you,” he turned to Sam and caressed his cheek, “and I simply could not get you out of my head or my heart. But I decided you were it, my only love, my only family. Then a little pixie arrived on our doorstep, nearly shaking with nerves yet so brave with it. And I knew my life would change forever.”

He kissed her and her stomach dropped, her clit throbbing slightly. Hmm, maybe she wasn’t as tired as she’d thought.

“I’ve ended up with everything when I’d resolved myself to having nothing. I love you both. And I want to spend the rest of my life taking care of you both, loving you both, dominating you both. If you’ll have me.”

He stood and walked to his drawers, pulling one open and reaching inside. When he turned back he held two jewelry boxes. Ava’s stomach tightened and she looked at Sam who appeared shocked.

Roarke kneeled and held both boxes up.

“Will you both marry me? Be with me always? Love me forever?”

He stared between the two of them, waiting.

“Yes,” Ava said, tears running down her cheeks. Roarke smiled, the largest grin she’d ever seen on his face. He put down one box and opened the other. Ava held out her left hand and he slipped a ring on her finger. Looking down, she let out a sob of delight at the beautiful ruby surrounded by sparkling diamonds blinking back at her.

Throwing her arms around Roarke, she kissed him. “Thank you,” she whispered.

He winked at her. Then his face grew serious as he looked over at Sam.

“Sam?” he asked.

Ava turned to look at the other love of her life. He looked shell-shocked.

“Yes,” Sam said. “God, yes.”

Ava watched on with a smile as her men embraced.

Her men.

Her family.

At last.
