Jerry Ludwig began his work in the star-studded world of film as a teenager collecting autographs in New York. After a career in journalism, Ludwig became a publicist for Burt Lancaster's independent company, and went on to work on everything from
Murder, She Wrote
to
West Side Story
with everyone from Barbara Hershey to Marlon Brando. His work in the film business has earned him several awards and dozens more nominations.

Ludwig's most recent Hollywood credits include writing and producing
Dash and Lilly
, an A&E TV movie. Ludwig won the Writers Guild of America award for Best Teleplay, and the picture was nominated for nine TV Academy Emmy Awards, as well as nominations from the Humanitas Prize, Golden Globes, and Producers Guild of America.

Jerry Ludwig and his wife Tobi, an artist, live in Rancho Mirage, California, where he is currently working on his next novel about Hollywood.
