“Beds are good,” Neil muttered as he wrestled with the button on his fly.

“Shoes,” Eros said with an amused smile.

“Huh?” Neil looked up at him, still fighting with his pants. How was it that the man could get someone else’s pants down without a problem but struggled with his own? Well, whatever the problem was, Eros found the man adorable.

He knelt down and removed one of Neil’s sneakers. “I don’t want you to trip if your pants get tangled around your ankles.”

Understanding dawned on Neil’s face, and he bent down to help. “Falling would suck.”

Working together, the two of them got Neil’s shoes, socks and jeans off in record time. Eros looked up at Neil, who was still bent over. The look on his face took Eros’s breath away.

They smiled at each other, and Neil laid his hand flat against Eros’s cheek, rubbing his thumb against his cheekbone. “We should have done this a long time ago.”

“You’re right.” He snuggled into Neil’s touch, sighing contentedly. He could stay like this all night, but the stiff cock waving in his face told him that Neil probably wouldn’t be patient for much longer. “Let’s go.”

He stood up and fumbled with the doorknob, never taking his gaze off Neil’s. The door swung open, and he nudged Neil backward until they crossed the threshold before shutting and locking the door. While there was currently no one in the house, he never knew which god would pop up next. He’d charmed the door so that no one would be able to come in when it was closed. He wouldn’t want his stepfather or, Zeus forbid, his mother walking in on them.

“Holy shit!” Neil’s voice was awed.

Crap
. The door wasn’t the only thing he’d charmed. He’d made the entire room twice the size of the house. There had to be a way to explain this without revealing the fact that he was a god and could do whatever the hell he wanted. Except make Neil and Talia fall in love with him. “I added an addition to the back of the house?”

Double crap
. Instead of sounding like a confident statement, it came out like a question.

Neil raised his eyebrow at him but all he said was, “Some addition.”

Eros nodded and gestured toward the bed. “Still up for…you know?” He was such an idiot. He was a god, dammit. But Neil had always made him feel a little like a mortal.

Neil growled and kissed him fiercely. “Oh, I’m still up all right.”

The floor creaked under Eros’s feet as he hurried to the bed and threw himself on it. A warm body covered him from behind, and he shivered despite the heat. He was finally about to get laid.

Eros tried to get a hold of his emotions. It wasn’t like he’d never had sex before. He was close to three thousand years old, give or take a few centuries. But this was the first time he’d ever come close to being intimate with someone he truly loved.

“God, Aaron. I want you so much. I don’t know if I can go slowly right now.”

That was the sexiest thing he’d ever heard. Luckily, he was a god and would be able to make this good for both of them. “Don’t wait. I want you just as much.”

“Oh, thank god.” A long finger traced down Eros’s spine, lingered at the top of his ass, and then dipped into his crack. “Lube, baby. We need lube.”

Again, it was a good thing he was a god. It wasn’t like he had lube and condoms stashed around, but he could summon them with a blink of the eye. “Nightstand. Top drawer.”

He heard some rustling and then the sounds of Neil rummaging in his drawer. “On your hands and knees,” Neil commanded. The finger was back, tapping at Eros’s back door, and this time, it was cold and slick. “Relax and push back against me.”

Eros blew out a breath and used his god powers to loosen his muscles. Neil’s finger slid in easily, and they both groaned.

The finger in Eros’s ass wiggled. “Tell me when I find the right spot.”

“’Kay.” In all the years he’d existed, no one had ever gone out of their way to find his most responsive spot. The few times a lover had stimulated him there, it had been an accident and had only lasted a few minutes.

But it looked like that was about to change.

Anticipation raced through him. Neil might say he wasn’t going to be able to go slow, and maybe he really felt that way, but he was taking the time to prepare him. Even if Neil was unable to find that coveted pleasure spot, the very fact that he was trying put him head and shoulders over any of Eros’s other lovers.

Just as he was about to tell Neil to forget it, a pleasure so intense battered him. Oh man, there it was! Neil had just found that secret gland, and the feeling was indescribable. All he knew was that if Neil kept this up, Eros would be peaking again all too soon. “Gods, Neil, get into me. I’m stretched enough.”

Neil’s finger stilled and Eros’s knees were wedged apart by a pair of thighs. “You can’t be ready yet,” Neil protested. “I’ve only got one finger in.”

He was so crazed to feel Neil in him that it was on the tip of his tongue to confess who he really was. But he’d tried that with another lover before, and the woman had tried to have him committed to an insane asylum. “I like the burn,” he said instead.

There was no answer at all. But another finger joined the first, and Eros’s eyes rolled up. He swore he could see the inside of his skull, but he couldn’t help it. His cock felt like it weighed a hundred pounds and throbbed with its impending orgasm. He was a god, dammit. He should be able to control his body, but it seemed his body had its own ideas. “Neil,” he said in warning.

The fingers were removed, and Neil tugged gently on Eros’s balls.
Fuck, that was good
.

“All right, baby, all right. We’re going to go slow, though, and you’re not going to change my mind on that.” The tip of Neil’s cock nudged his pucker, and Eros sighed with contentment.

Progress was slow, agonizingly so, but bordered on oh-fuck-so-good territory. How the hell was he able to be this aroused again when he’d already blown his brains out the back of his skull with his earlier orgasm?

Well, whatever god had blessed him this time, he would take it and run.

“Aaron,” Neil said on a moan.

That took a little of the wind out of his sail. He’d never before cared what a lover called him during sex, but now he fervently wished that Neil would say his proper name in the heat of the moment.

But then Neil did this swivel thing with his hips, and the wind was right back in his sail again. There was no stopping the freight train of an orgasm that was barreling down on him. Was it possible for his brain to explode out the back of his skull more than once in a night?

It was.

When he finally managed to roll his eyes back to the front of his head, he realized that Neil was holding himself perfectly still and was making pathetic whimpering noises. “Neil? Babe?”

“I felt a snap,” Neil said on a desperate moan.

A snap? What in Tartarus was he talking about?

Neil must have read his mind because he furthered his explanation. “I’m pretty sure I just popped through the end of the condom.”

Oh. That wasn’t good. Everything was fine, of course. He was a freaking god. He couldn’t get or give diseases of any kind, but he couldn’t very well just blurt that out to the man currently lodged in his ass.

Before he could say anything at all, Neil was pulling out with a sound that closely resembled a sob.

Eros felt like a kid whose ice cream had just fallen off his cone. “What the hell?” he whined, pushing back. “I wanna feel you come.”

“Fucking condom broke. Shit. Goddamn it, you feel so good.”

A fucking broken condom was going to ruin Eros’s damn day. He wanted to feel Neil throb inside him, wanted to feel the man lose control, but there was no way he could just blurt out for Neil to just go for it.

Maybe there was another way.

Easing forward so that Neil’s rigid cock slipped out of him, Eros crawled forward and turned around. He stripped the latex off Neil and grabbed a wipe from the box he kept next to his bed. He wiped Neil down gently, careful not to stimulate him too much, and tossed both the wipe and the split condom over his shoulder in the general direction of the wastebasket.

Eros pulled his lips over his teeth and took Neil’s beautiful, flushed head in his mouth. He gave it a loving lick and a quick suck before practically unhinging his jaw and swallowing Neil until his nose hit the nest of curls at the junction of his thighs.

He relished the silken pulse on his tongue, but the high, desperate whimper told Eros that Neil couldn’t wait.

Flicking his tongue against the place where Neil’s dick and balls joined, he swallowed, making sure his throat muscles milked Neil’s cock for all he was worth.

Neil went rigid and gripped Eros’s hair so hard, he wondered if Neil would leave a couple of bald patches. A salty splash hit the back of his tongue, and he pressed his finger firmly against the spot between Neil’s nuts and his asshole guaranteed to heighten the man’s climax. He swallowed as much of the creamy flow as he could and felt a few drops escape from the corners of his mouth.

A kiss. He wanted a kiss so badly, but he wasn’t sure how Neil would react to that.

Neil clearly had the same urge because he gripped Eros’s shoulders and hauled him to his feet, sealing their mouths together. Neil’s wet, still half-hard prick rubbed against Eros’s hip as their tongues dueled.

He wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed and cuddle up with Neil and Talia. He was halfway there, he thought as he and Neil tumbled into bed. Now he just had to get Talia here.

Hades’s hairy ass, he had a long way to go.

Chapter 5

Talia dressed for her date with Neil, still confused as to why she’d agreed to go out with him. It wasn’t that Neil was unattractive. Quite the opposite, in fact. The man was so smoking hot, she could cream her panties just looking at him. And if she had creamed her panties the first time she’d laid eyes on him, well…no one had been at home to confirm or deny the state of her underwear.

No, the reason she was so confused was because of the sudden urgency to get into the man’s pants she’d felt yesterday when she’d first met him.

One second, she’d been completely, totally in love—or lust at least—with her ancient history tutor, Aaron, and the next, all she could think about was having both Aaron and Neil in bed with her.

But the urgent feeling she’d gotten from chatting with Neil was more than lust. It was more like love at first sight. If she were a more fanciful person, she’d have sworn that she’d been hit by Cupid’s arrow sometime between taking Aaron and Neil’s orders and delivering their drinks.

But if it was love at first sight, why was she still thinking about Aaron?

Shaking her head, she went back to applying her makeup. She’d experimented with the stuff when she’d first been allowed at thirteen and had found that a subtle approach was usually the best one for her. She dusted a pretty rose over her eyelids and highlighted her cheekbones with just a hint of blusher. A touch of mascara and a dab of lipstick and she was done.

She looked ruefully at her hair. It either hung, straight as a stick, from the crown of her head to her shoulders, or from a high ponytail.

Her reflection stared back at her, and she shook her head. Trim black slacks and the tailored lemon-yellow sweater would have to do. She was a student. It wasn’t like she could afford the cost of couture clothes or anything like that.

She slipped on a pair of ballet flats and dashed out the door, only pausing to lock it. She was running late, and she didn’t want Neil thinking that she was standing him up.

The drive to the restaurant was a short one, but she hit practically every red light and still managed to be five minutes late.

Neil was there, waiting by the door, looking as delicious as he had yesterday. She was very…oral by nature, and her mouth watered for a taste of him.

She zoomed into a parking spot and slammed the gearshift into park. Nothing could keep her from that man, not even the thought of the first draft of her thesis that was due to her adviser in just over forty-eight hours. Aaron would have her head if he knew that she was blowing off a night of fine-tuning the most important paper of her life, but there was no way she was missing out on a night with Neil.

A grin had broken out on Neil’s face by the time she’d picked her way through the crowd on the sidewalk to him, and she gave into the urge to kiss his cheek.

His skin was smooth, with no hint of a five o’clock shadow at all. He’d clearly shaved before their date, which was sweet, considering most men hated shaving.

“Thanks for waiting,” she said close to his ear.

Neil’s eye’s darkened and heated. “I’ll always wait for you.”

A line of sparks ignited up her spine, and she shivered. The words took on a whole new meaning when he stroked her cheek and purred deep in his chest.

She cleared her throat and pulled back a little. “Should we go in?”

His hand settled on the small of her back, and he steered her into the restaurant. She knew several women her age that would be furious about being led around, but she secretly loved it. She also loved it when a man opened the door for her and pulled out her chair for her.
