I would normally be repulsed by a comment like that, but coming out of Aiden’s mouth, it makes me hot.

“We will have to see about that,” I say, playing it cool by looking out the window.

“No, Hannah, I can guarantee it.” He unbuttons my pants and finds my spot, causing my eyes instantly to shut in pleasure.

“I’ll start to warm you up, this way you can beg me later.” He plunges into me, and I spread my legs wider, pulling my hands over the top of the headrest. I let out soft moans as he does circles in me. Fuck, he is talented. He gets me off while he is driving us to the airport.

We pull right up to the plane, and I get out, feeling the wetness between my legs. Aiden walks around the car and takes my hand and kisses it.

“Ready to beg?” he asks.

“I think you will be the one begging,” I respond.

“I hope so.” He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder before I can protest and carries me onto the plane. Then he gently sets me down in a seat and straps me in.

“Don’t move,” he says, pointing a finger at me. I nod and he disappears to the front of the plane. A few minutes later, he comes out and settles next to me.

“We will be taking off in a few minutes.” He looks at his watch. “Then in about fifteen minutes after takeoff, I’m going to take great pleasure in fucking you in the room, back there.” He points behind us, and I look over. Excitement comes over me and I can’t wait to take off.

When we reach altitude, the captain comes over the system and lets us know we are free to roam the cabin. Aiden unbuckles me from the seat, and like a caveman, he drags me into the back room. He picks me up and throws me on the bed, then pounces on me like an animal. He is a savage, ripping my clothes off, and I am right there, tearing him out of his jeans. I unleash his thick, long hardness from his zipper and take him in my mouth like I did last night to his brother. Grant fills my mind as I pull Aiden deeper into my mouth. I am turned on even more, thinking about it.

Aiden pulls me off him, slides a condom on, and pushes me down on the bed. He plunges right into me, making me cry out in pleasure and pain as my body adjusts to his size. I grab at his back and begin to claw down it. I come immediately undone as he pounds into me with heavy thrusts, filling me. We are both panting for each other.

“You are so tight when you come, Hannah,” he hisses through his teeth. “I want to make this last.” I wrap my legs around his waist, pulling him to me at a faster pace. He comes hard in me, screaming my name. Then he settles on top of me, bearing down with all his weight. I feel the air leave my lungs, and I gasp for air. He shifts his weight to his forearms.

“I thought I was supposed to be the one screaming names,” I tease. I can feel his hardness still in me, and he starts to move again, taking me by surprise.

“Oh, you will scream my name.” He pulls out of me and trails down my body. He finds my sweet spot and directs all his attention there. I’m swollen and sensitive, but he works his magical tongue in waves over me. I start to feel the rhythm of my hips pick up pace. I grab at his hair and spread my legs farther apart. I start to cry out his name, louder and louder, until I come again. He quickly pulls himself back into me and ravishes me yet again. I come one more time before he flips me over and takes me from behind, placing his hands on my hips to steady me. I arch my back and feel him deeper in me. He lets out a cry.

“Fuck, I didn’t think you could get any tighter.” He grabs my hair and pulls it hard. I am surprised by this, but it turns me on even more.

“Fuck, Hannah, your pussy is so wet for me,” he groans.

“You make my pussy wet,” I purr back to him. He slams into me a few more times and comes again, slapping my ass hard. I can feel it stinging, but I don’t care. I can close my eyes right now and sleep for a week. At that moment the captain comes over, saying we need to get seated for our descent. I rush to the bathroom, where I clean up and get dressed before heading back to my seat. Aiden is already seated.
I slide past him as I get into my seat. He straps me in again then holds my hand.

“I’ll be in Manhattan all week for business. I would like to see you again.” He looks over at me. I debate if I should or not. I told myself I would be done with them when I got off the plane. I need to shake them and get away from them, but I can’t stop myself from saying,

“Yes, we need to do this again this week.”

He looks at me with a wicked grin.

“I will check with my assistant and see when I have time to see you.” I can see the darkness in his eyes. “I have plans for you, Hannah. I hope you can handle what I have in store for you.”

I look at him with wide eyes. Whatever he wants to do to me, I am more than ready and willing. My ears pop, and I can feel the plane descending. We land hard, and I squeeze Aiden’s hand.

We taxi around, and I follow Aiden’s lead. When he unbuckles his belt, he turns to me and starts to help by moving my hands away. Just this act alone, and I am ready for him again.

“Do you want to get something to eat before you go home?” he asks, looking at me. I feel like he can look right into me.

“No, I want to go straight home. I miss my babies.” I make a sad face, and he wraps his hands around my face and kisses me softly. My lips are sore and swollen from before, but I don’t care. I have no control when he is around. He kisses the center of my palm, sending little shivers through me.

“Let’s get you home.” His words are music to my ears.

When we exit the plane, a Range Rover is waiting for us. The same man who picked me up on Friday is opening the door for me.

“Mrs. Redman,” he says as I get in.

“Sam, nice to see you again,” I say to him, thinking
it’s Mrs. Winterfield
, but I don’t correct him.

CHAPTER TWENTY

I
t seems to take forever to get home, but I know it’s the anticipation of seeing the kids. When we finally pull up to my house, I see the kids waiting for me at the front door. I jump out of the car, and they fly out the door. We meet in the middle of the lawn with our arms open wide. I grab them both in one swoop. I swear they each grew a few inches. I hug them for a while before I let go and plant kisses on them.

“Just look at both of you! I think you grew a foot since I left.” They start to laugh at my exaggeration.

“No, Mommy, I didn’t grow a foot,” Hunter giggles.

“Mommy, who is that?” Ella asks as she glances behind me. I look over and see Sam bringing my bags to the front door and Aiden walking toward us.

“Hunter and Ella, this is Aiden. I was taking care of his mommy. She had to have surgery on her heart.” Ella steps forward.

“Is your mommy better now?” she asks him with her gentle voice.

I watch Aiden squat down to get to her eye level.

“Yes, every day she is getting better, thanks to your mommy.” He smiles at her and she takes my hand. Hunter steps forward next.

“Where is your daddy? Is he taking care of your mommy now?” His question is innocent but hits home hard. I see Aiden shift a bit before answering Hunter.

“My daddy is in heaven. He went there when I was about your age.” His eyes show sadness I never noticed before. Ella walks over to Aiden and places her little hand on a necklace that rests on top of his shirt.

“Is this your daddy?” Ella asks, holding the charm in her fingers.

“No, this is St. Michael. My daddy gave me this when I was a baby. St. Michael is the saint that gives me strength and courage. I needed that after he went to heaven.” Both Ella and Hunter are nodding their heads at Aiden. Hunter takes a step closer to Aiden.

“What do you do for Father’s Day?” Hunter questions. “I have a party at school, but I don’t have a daddy. My teacher said I could bring a grandpa.”
Shit
, I yell in my head. I totally forgot about Father’s Day coming up.

“Honey, we can figure it out. I bet Grandpa would love to go with you, or even Uncle Kevin.” I try to give Aiden an out on this question.

“Hunter, my grandpa used to come to school with me on Father’s Day, and my uncle came with me to other things as well. If someone asks you why your daddy isn’t there, you can tell them he is an angel in heaven, and they work a lot.” He winks at Hunter, and I can see Hunter starting to relax a bit.

“Thanks,” he says. He gives Aiden a high five before Ella walks over to get her high five. They start to run all over the front lawn.

“I better be going.”

“Thank you, Aiden, for everything.” I touch his arm, and he can tell I’m too nervous to want anything else as a good-bye in front of my family.

“I’ll talk to you later,” he says, then walks over to the SUV.

I head into the house, and the kids follow. Richard is by the front door. I’m greeted with a big hug from him; I can feel a little of Chase inside him.

“I didn’t want to walk out. I thought it would be better if they didn’t know about our relation.” He seems a little uneasy.

“I doubt they would even care, Richard.” I remember that Grant knows the secret.

“So tell me all about it. How was it?” I ponder the question for a moment and quickly relive the weekend in my head. I keep the private moments to myself, but tell him all about the house and the family dynamic. We discuss the hospital visit, and he tells me it wasn’t my fault. It feels good to be home. Richard and Mary don’t stay long, and I’m thankful for that, because I want time alone with the kids. We head outside to play on the trampoline, and they fill me in on everything.

“Uncle Kevin spent the day with us on Saturday,” Hunter tells me as he jumps.

“He took us to the movies to see
Brave
,” Ella screams as Hunter bounces close to her.

“Vanessa came with us, and we got popcorn, soda, and candy.” They don’t tell me any more about the movies, but I’m happy to hear Vanessa is back in the picture. I take my phone out and order us a pizza. We bounce a little longer, then head inside to wait for the pizza. Hunter and Ella stay at the door waiting. They love it when we get pizza delivered. I let them pay and take the pizza into the kitchen. As we start eating, I notice Hunter is getting uneasy.

“What’s wrong, Hunter?”

“Nothing, I was just thinking about that man who was here. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have a daddy, except me and him.”

My heart starts to ache like it used to.

“Can we get a necklace like him?” Ella asks.

“If that’s what you want, I can go and look for one tomorrow.”

“I think I need one. He said it was for strength and courage. What’s courage mean?” Hunter asks as he puts his pizza down, and they both look at me. Oh shit…I have to think fast.

“Remember the movie
The Wizard of Oz
?” They nod. “The cowardly lion was looking for courage. Remember how he was scared of everything? Well, courage helps you face things when you are scared of them.”

“Is it like being brave?” Ella asks.

“Yes, it is.” I see that they get it. They are both filled with courage and strength. They’ve been through so much this last year, and have
experienced so much sadness and hurt. Life is so unfair sometimes. I look into my children’s eyes and see life coming back every day; they are going to make it through. I just hope Chase will remain in their hearts. I feel the weight on my chest again.

We finish dinner on a lighter note and make our way upstairs for bath time. I go through the evening routines, all the while thinking about Chase and the kids, adjusting back to my world after leaving it for a few days. The night goes by fast, and I find myself on the couch after I put the kids to bed. I sit and stare at nothing. I feel tears on my cheeks. My heart begins to break all over again, and for the first time I’m not sure if it’s over Chase, the kids, or because of the little piece of my heart that I left in the Cape. I see it’s only ten o’clock. I walk into the kitchen and open the cabinet where my sleeping pills are kept. I take two to ensure I don’t dream tonight. I shower and by the time I get out, I feel drowsy and ready to succumb to sleep.

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

W
hen I wake the next morning, I see the sun shining in through my window. I still feel relaxed and want to remain sleeping. I look over at the clock and fly up like a rocket. The kids need to be at school in twenty minutes. I run to their rooms, get them up, and throw clothes at them. I quickly get dressed, then check on them again. They dress quickly, and we run downstairs for breakfast. I grab granola bars and move them into the bathroom to brush their teeth. I fight with Ella about eating in the car on the way to school. I explain we don’t have time today to sit and eat. She is in a mood, and I ignore it. Truthfully, I’m still very relaxed from the sleeping pills and really don’t care.

I finally get them out the door and to school with no time to spare. Ella didn’t eat breakfast to spite me, and I tell her she has to starve until lunchtime. As I watch them walk in, I take out my cell to e-mail Ella’s teacher to make her aware of the mood and lack of breakfast. After I press Send, I see I have a text.

“Aiden” reads across the top of the screen. How the hell did he get my phone and put his number in it?

I look at the text.

Tuesday and Thursday I have lunch open at twelve. Let me know beautiful
.

My stomach flips and I feel excited. He checked his schedule and fit me in this week. Then reality hits me and I tell myself,
no more
.
I hear out the angel and devil sitting on my shoulders. I agree with both, but go with the devil. She knows what she is talking about, so I text him back.

Hello, stalker. Where do you want to meet?

I press Send and start driving home. I feel my phone vibrate in less than a minute.

How am I a stalker? Can you come to me?

I look at the smiley face and laugh. I wait until I get in the driveway before I text him back.

You took my phone and put in your number…that is stalkerish to me! I can come to you as long as I leave by 1
.

I send the message and head into the house. By the time I open my door, I feel my phone vibrate.
