Meeka
knew
training
wouldn’t
be
easy
after
a
sleepless
night.
She
gritted
her
teeth
and looked
at
her
reflection
in
the

irror.
At
least
her
breasts
were
secure
l

held
in
place
as

bent to
place
the
leather

on
her
thigh
and
secured
the
knife.

Kerrigan

St

couldn’t
bear
it
if
she

kept
her
up
all
night
as
visions
of
hurting
or
killing
Kerrigan
clouded
her

“Catz,
I

And
I

Catz protested.
Meeka
longed
to
explore
every
inch
of
eve

Th

up
another
flight
of
stairs
and d

Was
there

H

light shone ahead, and Meeka
heard the
grunts of
exertion
and
hear
t

laughter.
A

took
hold
of
her.
I

the night
before

He

her.
The
hunger

lust were

she
wanted

give

Her
pace
slowed.
She
dreaded
another
day
filled
with
hi

W

Did
it
have
s

to
do
with

O

he
was
caring
and
kissing
her,
and
the
next, he
turned
to
stone.
Ice

cold
with
no

She
just
didn’t
get
it.
His

her
he

but
w

then, did he

S

Eventual

he

It

she
found
herself
staring
at
the
large
field,
and
on
the
fringes,
what appeared
to
be
a
jungle.

Meeka’s

she found

Could

on
the training field,

St

gorgeous—no

about
it—but
Meeka
couldn’t
