He held her tighter and fucked her harder.

“Oh God, yes,” she said. “You’re making me crazy, Chase. I
love how you feel inside me.”

“You are so damn tight. Wet.” He grunted.

She cried out his name as her body tensed, then quaked. She
squeezed him so tight, he lost it completely and came inside her with body-racking
spasms and a wicked throbbing in his cock.

“Cass.” The word ripped from his mouth. The only one he
could coherently speak.

Holy hell, was he a complete goner with this woman! And all
he could think was what a massive clusterfuck it’d be for him if, come Monday
morning, she was back to all work and no play…

Because Chase definitely wanted more from her. Much,
much
more.

* * * * *

Cassidy lay sprawled across the bed, her body more relaxed
than ever before. Her skin tingled and exhilaration flooded her veins, making
her feel vibrant. Radiant. So very alive. And a tiny bit giddy.

She watched as Chase strutted into the bathroom to tidy up
and then return to the room, looking all pleased with himself over the
multitude of orgasms he’d given her.

It wasn’t in Cassidy’s nature to flirt, but how could she
pass up the opportunity with all the endorphins and hormones keeping her so
charged she couldn’t help but get a little sassy with Chase?

“Feeling all He-Man Master of the Universe-like?” she asked
as he climbed into bed with her.

He grinned. “Yeah, sorta.” He gave her a kiss so smoldering Cassidy
felt as though she might incinerate into the mattress.

For once, she didn’t overanalyze or freak out over anything
she might do to screw up her career. She’d let it all go when Chase had proven
how sizzling they’d be together, and was happy she’d done so. Apparently, a
person needed a break from their nonstop obsessing every now and then.

Chase said, “Why don’t we get comfortable under the covers?
Unless you’re planning on kicking me out.”

She smiled. “The thought never crossed my mind. Especially
not after all those fireworks you set off inside me.”

“I do enjoy getting you off.” He gave her a lascivious look
that curled her toes.

“So I guess having sex with you doesn’t get the need to talk
dirty to me out of your system.”

“Would you like me to stop talking dirty to you?”

She shrugged, feigning nonchalance. Though in reality, it
excited her that Chase was proving what he’d said at the party—that his
attraction to her was more than just the need to score her once.

She kept the conversation light, casually saying, “I think I
can handle it.”

“And if I wanted to tie you to the bedposts?” he challenged
in a low tone.

Oh Christ. They were back to the kinky fetishes.

He actually had them?

Cassidy nibbled her lip a moment as Chase stared intently at
her. Then she brazenly asked, “Is there a specific reason you’d want to do
that?”

His lips grazed her temple as he muttered, “Mostly to see
you sprawled on the bed, naked and anxiously awaiting my next move…”

“Chase…”

“Just think about it.”

Then he snuggled with her under the down comforter. Aside
from the panic of Chase potentially following the
50 Shades
path, she
suffered a few moments of uncertainty as they settled in together. But Chase
took the guesswork out of what to do next. He pulled her to him and draped an
arm over her shoulders while she rested her head on his chest.

She liked hearing his heart beat and listening to his steady
breathing. His fingers stroked her skin and she smiled again, pushing thoughts
of bondage and giving up control from her mind.

“I’m glad you texted me,” she said.

“I’m glad you thought I was Meg.”

With a soft laugh, she admitted, “It’s entirely possible I
saw that it was you sending the message and I just had it in my mind that it
was Meg, because she’d mentioned you. A little subconscious error to make me
feel as though I didn’t actually encourage anything between us.”

He blew out a long breath. “It has taken a serious amount of
effort to wear you down.”

“Shut up about that and just tell me it was worth it.”

He chuckled. “Oh so worth it. Goddamn, so worth it.”

“Phew. Relief.”

“Cass. The whole night has been awesome. Even if we hadn’t
gotten together, it was a helluva lot of fun flirting with you.”

“You are so bad.”

How bad?

“And you secretly love it.”

Do I?

She let out a low groan. “Well… Maybe not so secretly.”

He chuckled once more, the sound warming her and helping to
solidify in her mind that she hadn’t made a monumental mistake by caving to
Chase this evening.

Not that she’d had any sort of defense or willpower after he’d
kissed her. After he’d done no more than brush his lips over hers.

The spark factor had been through the roof. She realized
there had always been a serious amount of the zings between them and that must
have been the reason Chase had pursued her endlessly. Because he’d known there
was something passionate that existed long before she’d accepted it.

Cassidy didn’t chew on this for long. She was relaxed, her
mind quiet, not constantly churning over all of her goals and
need to
succeed on her own terms
kind of thoughts.

Maybe it was the afterglow, maybe it was the relaxation,
maybe it was just the plain and simple fact that she felt incredibly
comfortable with Chase—
surprise, surprise
—but her eyelids fluttered
closed and within minutes, she was asleep.

Chase woke her the next morning with soft kisses along her
neck and shoulder. She’d shifted at some point during the night and he’d
apparently rolled with her, because he was wrapped around her and she was
drowning in all of his heat and muscles and amazing hunkiness.

“Nice way to wake up,” she mused.

“It’d be nicer if I had another condom and could make love
to you again.”

“Yeah, there is that.”

He slipped from the bed, saying, “The second best thing
would be breakfast. Mike and Rhonda’s. Best early-morning feast in town. You’ll
love it and I’m craving it.”

Cassidy sat up, the sheet and comforter pressed to her
chest. “Uh, I have some work to do today and—”

He slipped into his briefs. “It’s Saturday, babe. Try a day
off.”

“Chase—”

“Cass,” he challenged with a crooked brow. “We’re out of
town and it’s the weekend. Let’s nab a little local favor and enjoy the day.
Stop at a store and buy some condoms. Have another mind-blowing night together,
drive back to Scottsdale tomorrow and—”

“And?” she asked as she stared quizzically at him.

One corner of his mouth lifted and a flash of heat in his
eyes made her skin tingle again.

“And give dating a try.”

“Dating.” She said the word tentatively, taking it out for a
test drive.

She ignored the other word lingering on her tongue.
Bondage.

Chase planted his hands on his waist and asked, “You game?”

Was he talking about the thing she wasn’t mentioning—the
tied-up part?

Not ready to go there, she simply asked, “Dating?”

“Exclusively.”

She let out a soft laugh and it helped to cut some of her
internal tension. “You don’t exactly have competition, remember?”

“I just want it on record. You and me. We’ll give this thing
the chance it deserves.”

A shiver ran down her spine. “Yes.”

“All right.” Chase visibly gloated, as though he’d just
sealed the deal of a lifetime. She supposed that after two years of flirting,
it actually was a pretty big deal for them to have finally reached this point.

He rubbed his hands together, obviously formulating a plan.
He said, “Why don’t we shower, pop over to my hotel so I can change and collect
my stuff—I rode up with Don Tyson in his SUV since my Aston Martin wouldn’t
fare so well in all of this snow—and then hit breakfast and the rest of the
town.”

“So you need a ride back to Scottsdale tomorrow afternoon.”

“Yeah. Cool with you?”

She smiled. “Sure.”

I can do this.

And it didn’t even take too much convincing this morning
because every second since Chase had first kissed her had felt inherently
right. Despite experiencing a twinge of guilt over bypassing work today in
order to get out and about in Flagstaff with Chase, she was actually looking
forward to the distraction. She’d always wanted to see the ski town that was
two hours away from Scottsdale and knew it’d be even better to have a native as
her tour guide.

So what the hell, right?

She pulled in a deep breath, let it out slowly and then
said, “Okay. Let’s spend the weekend together.”

Chase swooped in for a kiss. Then he took her by the hand
and dragged her out of bed.

Her first inclination was to bring the sheet with her to
cover up. But how ridiculous would that be given that he’d already seen her
naked and had done the most amazing things to her body? Besides, the heat in
his eyes eclipsed the small measure of self-consciousness that had momentarily
besieged her.

She followed Chase into the bathroom and he turned on the
water in the shower before stripping off his briefs. She admired the view. The
man was magnificent.

He stepped under the spray and reached for the soap. Cassidy
didn’t even mind that he took the initiative to lather her up, his hands
slipping and sliding all over her body. She returned the favor, enjoying his
muscles bunching and flexing beneath her fingers.

They rinsed away the suds, but she wasn’t quite ready to dry
off and get dressed. Chase’s naked body was much too tempting to pass up. She
sank to her knees and wrapped her fingers around his shaft, stroking slowly.

Chase grunted. “That drove me wild last night.”

“I like getting you all worked up.” She licked him from base
to tip and his erection grew. She pumped him a few moments more with her hand
until he was rock-hard. Then she took him deep in her mouth and sucked.

“Christ, Cass.” His fingers threaded through her hair and he
pushed the damp strands away from her face.

Funny how she’d considered herself too much of a good girl
to engage in such risqué behavior. And yet with Chase… It came so naturally.

Her head bobbed as she continued to suck him, and his hips
bucked. She loved the way he responded to her. She loved the feel of him
against her tongue. And the hitching of his breath as she pushed him closer to
the edge sent excitement tripping through her.

She gently palmed his balls. Chase dragged one hand from her
hair and covered her hand on his sac, lightly pressing in so she’d gingerly
increase the pressure. He guided her so she could learn how to stroke him there
and then he left her to it.

A wicked thrill made her shudder as his labored breathing
echoed in the quiet room.

“Damn, that’s good,” he said in a strained tone. “Just
watching you suck me could get me off. But, Jesus, it’s incredible to be in
your mouth.”

She worked him a little more, her head bobbing a bit faster.

He groaned. “I’m going to come.”

Cass put even more effort into the blowjob and he erupted in
her mouth, coming on a low growl as his legs shook and his fingers tightened in
her hair.

She let him ride out his orgasm and then slowly moved away.
His hand caught her elbow and he helped her to stand.

Then his arm snaked around her waist and he hauled her up
against him.

“I like you naughty,” he said with a glimmer in his eyes.

“Now do
me
a favor and feed me.”

He chuckled. “Give me a few minutes to get the blood flowing
to parts of my body other than my dick and we can get going.”

Cass snickered as she moved about the bathroom, drying her
hair and doing her makeup. She dressed in jeans and a sweater, pulled on boots
and then followed Chase out to her Acura.

Handing him the keys, she said, “I don’t know the town at
all, so it’d probably make sense for you to drive. Plus, it’s been years since
I’ve driven in snow.”

He opened the passenger door for her and she slipped into
the seat and latched the belt. They drove to Little America where Chase had a
corner room with breathtaking views of the forest in which the resort was
nestled. He changed clothes and then slung the strap of his bag over his
shoulder.

Back in the SUV, he called Don to say he’d made alternate
travel arrangements, and Cassidy was relieved he hadn’t mentioned her name at
all.

Though chances were good Don drew the conclusion anyway,
since they’d both slipped out of the party early.

He drove them to a strip mall on the east side of town and
they walked into the crowded restaurant filled with lively conversation and
stomach-growl-inciting scents.

Chase said, “There’s a second location by the university. A
popular spot on the weekends for the college crowd. This location is a bit more
family oriented. Totally inexpensive, hungry-man portions.”

“You did work up an appetite.”

He wagged his brows. “I’d rather burn off calories with you
than at a gym any day of the week.”

The server arrived and Cassidy allowed Chase to order their
monstrous breakfast, which she stared at with wide eyes when the large table
was covered with plates of eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns and
toast.

“We could feed a small village with this much food,” she
commented.

He laughed. “Settle in. We’re gonna be here a while.”

An hour and half later, Chase drove them out of town, toward
the San Francisco Peaks and then up the winding road to the Snowbowl ski
resort. He managed to find a parking spot in the bustling area and came around
to her side to open her door.

“Careful,” he said as he helped her out.

The snow was packed down in the lot, but the banks rose high
surrounding the area from the recent storms.
