“Think about it,” she rushed in. “They’re the strongest supernatural being there is. They have the ability to turn into every creature known to exist.”

Jason laughed. “You want me to go out and just start pumping my blood into people? Have you lost it, Marcella? I can’t do that.”

Her lips pressed together. “You can if I tell you to.” Her attention went back to Samael, but at Dominic’s gasp she froze. “What is it, my mate? You’re on to something. I can sense it.”

Why hadn’t he thought of it before? Could it work? “What would happen if you were to try to turn one of us? A supernatural?”

Samael began waving his hands. “Whoa, now. That’s asking for a disaster. We have no idea what we’re fucking with. You’re talking about a para-alchemy. Who knows what the fuck we’ll get. Are any of you willing to risk that? Think about it. It’s way too dangerous.”

“Maybe not.” Ambrose cleared his throat. “All my diet consists of is Marcella’s blood. I’m about as pure as a transition as you can get, minus the multiple creatures she changes into. Since I’ve met her, my powers have increased a hundredfold. You wouldn’t believe what I’m capable of.”

Samael narrowed his eyes. “What
are
you speaking of? What do you mean a hundredfold? Explain.”

Ambrose looked over at Dom. Suddenly words that weren’t his poured into his mind.
I’m going to put Jason and your brother out. Get ready.
Shock filled the demon’s face as he stared into Ambrose’s gaze. “No fucking way…” He turned to the right and caught Jason as he began to fall backwards. Suddenly, Donavon’s eyes rolled back and he hit the ground.

“What did you do!” Marcella screamed out as she began running around the table.

Ambrose shrugged. “I just put them to sleep.”

“But you talked to me in my head like Marcella and Jason do,” Dominic blurted out. “You’ve never done that before.”

Samael collapsed into a chair. “I can’t believe this. Holy shit.”

“I can get inside anyone’s mind I want and bend their thoughts or actions to do as I please. I did it with Jason’s dragon. I’m sure if I wanted to I could do it to the Devil, himself.”

“Don’t count on that,” Samael whispered. “He’s more powerful than you know. He made Marcella, remember? Not anyone can just create an actual living creature, Ambrose.”

“True.” He placed his hands on the table and looked down. “Regardless, I think we should try to be turned into collectors. I’m willing to go first.”

Marcella stood and placed her hands on her hips. “Can you at least wake up them up?”

“Oh, right.” Ambrose didn’t have to speak at all. Dominic watched as Jason and Donavon came to.

“What happened? I didn’t change, did I?” Jason looked around, panicked.

Marcella groaned. “No, Ambrose decided to use you as an example. He put you to sleep.”

“Really? Right on. Awesome trick, bro.” Jason was all smiles and that made Dominic roll his eyes. Donavon wasn’t as happy-go-lucky.

“Not cool.” A glare was thrown at Ambrose.

The master vampire bowed. “My apologies.”

Silence filled the room and Dominic watched as Marcella walked back to her position at the head of the table. Ambrose kept staring at her. “I would please like to go first.”

Her attention went to Samael. “What do you think?”

Worry filled his face. “I will not make this decision for you. If for some reason it results in one of their deaths, I will not be held accountable. But”—he took them in—”I think Ambrose needs to be the last. If for some reason something goes wrong, he can be there to bend their mind.” Dominic noticed Samael swallow hard. “Actually, I’m the last to be part of this group and probably the least popular. I know you all are going to want to do this. I think I should go first. If something happens then you’re all still together. No big deal.”

No one spoke a word. Dominic shook his head. “No. You’re the strongest one here. We can’t afford to lose you. I’ll go. If it works with me then we know it’ll take to you. We’re cut from the same cloth, you and I. You’re more powerful than me so it’ll work even better for you.”

“Jesus!” Donavon’s eyes were huge as he looked around. “Am I the only one who’s scared shitless to try this? I’m not so sure I want to. I’ve seen the hell Marcella goes through. You all want to have to take your turns in the dungeon as well? I don’t.”

“Finally. Sanity.” Samael leaned back in his chair. “So, who all is doing this? Everyone but Donavon?”

Dominic nodded. “I’m in. The stronger the frontline is, the harder it’ll be to get taken down. I’ve already seen myself die once today. Next time, my death won’t be so easy.”

“I’m in too,” Ambrose chimed in.

Donavon pushed up from the table. “My brother’s right. We have to be strong. I don’t know what the hell I’m going to be. Some hybrid, I guess. But I’m willing to risk it if it protects the queen.”

Everyone turned to Samael. He made a bottle of scotch appear before him and he put the thing straight to his lips. After a few large gulps he placed it down on the table. “Let’s do this.”

As the smiles went around the table, Dominic couldn’t believe what they were about to do. The world was about to change, and for the first time in his life, Dominic had never felt more right about something. He’d had that thought for a reason. This was going to work. It had to.

Chapter 4

Marcella went over the rest of their plans after they’d all come to the agreement about their soon-to-be change. Their journeys would go on as scheduled, and because they’d be able to change into any paranormal creature they wished, it was only going to make recruiting more followers a hell of a lot easier. It was perfect. She couldn’t wait to get started. The hardest part was going to be changing all of her men over. What happened if she lost one of them? Nausea threatened, even thinking about it.

As she stood from the large table, she watched all her men but Samael leave. They all had things they needed to do. Ambrose and Dominic were still working with the vampires, and Jason and Donavon had grown really close and were now working with the wolves. It was just the two of them left. She took in Samael’s broad shoulders while he sat quietly sipping on his scotch. To say that it turned her on was on an understatement. She was still built up from her morning.

“I would like to finish where we left off.” He looked up at her, confused. She lifted an eyebrow, and the bottle slid a little down the length of his hand.

“You mean…” The sound of Samael swallowing hard filled the room. He rested the bottle on the table due to his shaking hand. “I thought maybe you’d make me wait a while before you’d want to touch me again.”

Marcella reached out to his finger and moaned at their skin to skin contact. “No. I want you to fuck me.” She imagined them in his room, and they were suddenly falling onto his bed. Samael began tearing off his clothes. All Marcella did was vision herself nude, and that’s all it took before cool air brushed against her skin. She’d never understood why he kept stripping down when he had the same ability as her.

“Shit, I’ve wanted you so bad. I can’t even think when I’m around you.” The weight of his body pressed into hers, and she moaned at the delicious smell of his skin. This time she’d taste him. She had to.

Lips trailed down her neck and Marcella pushed him over. She traded him places and straddled his hips. “My turn. I told you one day I was going to have you like this, and here we are. You’ve held out from me for too long. Not anymore.”

Marcella ran her tongue up his throat and brought his earlobe between her teeth. Samael shivered beneath her. Pressure gripped her hips as he grasped on to her. She licked along the side of his ear and decided to make her way down his chest and stomach. Along the way she teased him with gentle bites. Her pussy was so wet from wanting him. The need to feel his cock finally pounding her was going to drive her crazy.

“Can I keep you for the rest of the day?” Samael lifted his head while he waited for her response.

Marcella looked into his eyes. “My men will come looking. Once they see us, they might not want to leave.”

“I don’t care, anymore.” Samael’s legs jumped as she gripped around his cock. How in the hell was she going to manage to take him? He was long and thick. It just didn’t seem possible.

“Let’s see how this plays out.” Marcella ran her tongue across his tip, and Samael’s hands gripped at the silk comforter. She moaned when pre-cum coated her tongue. Perfection. He couldn’t have tasted any better. Suddenly, she needed more. Stroking up the length with her hand, she tried to slide as much of him in her mouth as she could. He was so big she didn’t feel like she was making any progress at all. From Samael’s breathing though, she knew she had to be doing something right.

“I’ve dreamed of this, but I never thought I’d see the day when it actually happened.” He looked down at her and his full lips parted as he fought for breath.

She ran her tongue down the side of his length and didn’t stop until she traced it over his tight sac. The bed began to shake as his legs trembled. “Marcella, please. You have to understand. It’s been way too long. And now, it’s you. It’s a bit overwhelming.”

“Tell me about it,” she said breathlessly. “I could have an orgasm just by the pleasure your skin gives me, much less anything else. But you see, I’m not going to let that happen. I want to feel you pounding against my cunt. I need it, Samael.”

Large hands picked her up and Samael once again covered her. “Oh, you’re going to feel it all right. But not if you keep sucking my cock and using words like cunt. I won’t last two minutes. You can do whatever you want to me later. Right now, you’re mine. To fuck. To please. To do whatever I wish.”

The possessiveness he kept using made the wetness of her pussy increase. At the touch of his fingers against her folds, she fought the release that wanted to come.

“Oh yes. Your pussy is so ready for me.” His lips connected with hers, only to break away as he slid his finger inside her entrance, just to bring it to his mouth. “Your taste is sinfully delicious. You have no idea the damage I would do for just a sample of your flavor. Heaven or hell wouldn’t stand a chance.” He replaced his hand between her legs, and she had to bite her lip when he started thrusting two fingers, deep. “So tight and wet.” The top of his palm applied pressure to her clit and Marcella let out a scream. She wasn’t ready to come yet. If that happened she was only going to be tighter, and then there was no way in hell Samael was going to fit.

“Fuck me. God, please fuck me.”

Samael laughed. “I think we both know I’m not God. But your wish is my command.” Pressure pushed against her entrance and Marcella felt herself stretch around his thickness. Amazingly, inch by inch she could feel herself take his cock perfectly.

“Don’t look so surprised, Marcella. You were made for me, remember?”

Words wouldn’t come. Only sounds. She was pretty sure she kept saying “Oh God”
repeatedly, but she wasn’t sure. Samael filled every possible inch she was capable of taking. She felt him in her stomach, down to her very soul. Over and over he thrust, and the slow speed was downright torture. Once he was inside of her, it wasn’t orgasm after orgasm like she’d expected. The need to release stayed right on edge, and she was so close she could feel it. But it wouldn’t come.

“Samael. Please.”

“Please, what?” The look he gave her was full of authority.

“Make me come. I want to. No. I need to!”

“You come on my command. I can make you feel ecstasy one time, or a million. Right now, I want you to want it so bad that you feel there’s nothing more important in the world than having me give you this gift.”

“Oh, please. I do want it, bad.”

Samael pulled her leg into the crook of his arm and pushed deeper. “How bad? Bad enough that you’ll give me whatever I ask?”

Marcella forced her eyes open and looked at him. “What do you want?”

The pain radiating from his eyes gripped her heart. She felt him push deep again, and she dug her nails into his back, praying to come. He still didn’t let her.

“Please don’t get mad if I ask you.”

Marcella shook her head. “Don’t hold anything back from me, Samael. I won’t be mad.”

“You might.” He paused and kissed her deeply. When he lifted, she noticed he was having trouble starting the question.

“Ask me.”

The length of his cock began to withdraw and Marcella locked her legs around him. There was no way she was going to let him out of this. Something deep inside of him needed something, and she wouldn’t be able to relax until he confessed.

“Continue, and ask me,” Marcella said softly. “I might surprise you.”

Samael entered her pussy another inch and lowered himself until both of his hands were cupping her face. “When we’re alone like this, and no one else is around, can you pretend to be my wife? I know we’re not technically married anymore, but just knowing that somewhere inside, maybe you thought we were…Like maybe I had never hurt you, and we loved each other back then. I’m not saying you have to pretend your men never existed, but maybe that I was part of you all, like I am now.” He looked away and Marcella’s heart broke.

“Samael.” She had no idea what to say. Her mind reached to Marcianna, and memories of her wedding night flashed before her. She’d waited for him for days to come and take her. Yet, he’d never shown up. Although it pained her, she knew he had to feel the exact same thing. His regret held an aching of its own. That was evident. “You really want me to pretend to be your wife, don’t you?”
