The lights were dimly lit but sufficient for the mood. Keshia Cole cried about promising to be by someone’s side in the background. Sitting directly in the center of the king sized bed they probed each others bodies until both of them were breathing heavily. Tee ran her fingers around the outline of Q’s lips before making her way down to his chest. She loved the way the hardness of his chest muscles surrounded the soft area of his nipples. Bending over she twirled her tongue around each of them. The moistness of her lips stimulated him. She then licked her index finger before touching the opening of his manhood. This caused his body to jerk and spasm from the sensitivity of her touch. She was in complete control until she felt his hand rubbing against the tattoo which pointed toward her pot of gold. Before she could moan he had her bottom lip between his own. His middle finger found her opening which was already producing its own nectar.

"Hummm," Tee moaned throwing her head from side to side. Q climb on top of her and began rubbing the head of his dick against her opening. Like a vacuum it sucked him in immediately, he began to find his motion. He knew Tee was enjoying it because her head had tilted back and her mouth was wide open. He was glad, he had decided to come back to Tee’s room and get it in before Van came into the city early that morning. The more he stroked, the less he could hold the press of cum shooting up from the shaft of his rod. He quickly pulled out and let his juices out all over her stomach. Q knew Tee was not on birth control, and he didn’t need another pregnancy. The first one had been enough strain on him and Van’s marriage. Q rolled off of Tee, as she got up and went to the bathroom. When she returned, she had a wash cloth and began washing him off.

I’m going to jump into the shower, you want to join me?”

Nah babe, I’m done, I will take my shower in the morning, make sure you set the alarm on my phone for me.”

For what time? Tee asked

9 am is good, that will give me enough time to get to my room and get showered and dressed.” Q responded.

Tee had been in the shower for what seemed like hours. When she came into the room Q was already knocked out. She pulled the sheet over his naked body. Tee stared at him as he snored lightly. She knew Q's mind, body, and soul was exhausted. It upset her that so many people took advantage of his pure heart. She always wondered what it would be like if the roles were reversed. Would they be willing to give or sacrifice so much? Only time would tell. As his phone began to vibrate, Tee quickly grabbed it and hit the silent button. He only had a couple of hours to rest and she knew sleep was hard to come by for Q.

She smiled to herself as she watched him change positions on the large bed trying to get comfortable.

"I love you," she mumbled before climbing in bed with him.

Chapter 16

[
Got to make the song cry?
]

It was after 2:00a.m. when Van was able to see the entryway leading up to their driveway. She and Q had only been in their dream home a few weeks and Van loved it. Her greatest joy was the privacy they shared along with the closeness of the dog kennel which was only a few hundred yards away. Sitting there staring into the darkness her mind drifted to the trip she and Kiki would make in the morning to Charlotte. Damn she mumbled before exiting her car and walking through the front door. She knew she still needed to get packed. The hospital had been extremely busy because of all the recent hurricanes in the area. Van had worked two doubles, so she could be off for the rest of the weekend. Once inside the house Bear greeted her in his usual playful demeanor.

"What's up big boy ... how momma’s baby ..." She whispered while rubbing his muscular chest.

She went into the bedroom and began pulling clothes from the closet. She pulled out a low cut black mini dress, but then decided against it, knowing that Q wouldn’t approve. So she settled with her Michael Kors Sun dress. She figured she would throw in her sexy jeans, just in case they went to 935. Van had already looked up the parties and since she couldn’t get there until Saturday, she would have to go with one of the Ghetto shows. Once all of her clothes and shoes were packed, she called Kiki to make sure she would be by the house by 9am, so they could make it to Charlotte in time to have lunch with Q and the rest of the crew.

Well girl I’m about to take it to sleep and I hope you know you doing the driving in the morning!” Van said with a laugh.

You know I won’t mind pushing that big Benz.” Kiki responded. The girls hung up the phone and Van jumped in the shower. The hot water was feeling so good running down her body. She thought about getting out and grabbing her toy, so she could really get relaxed.

Na I can wait till I see my baby tomorrow,” she thought to herself. She continued to soap up and wash her private area. As her mind began to drift to the good sleep she was about to get her thoughts were interrupted by Bear’s barking.

Damn,’ Van thought, “them deer’s must be in the backyard again. I told Q about leaving the dog food outside.”

The next sound she heard was one all too familiar, it was a loud gun blast! When she stepped out of the shower, Van thought she had seen a ghost, but she wasn’t that lucky. It was Scar and another man standing in her bathroom. She tried to move, however her body was froze. She looked around and realized that she didn’t have her pistol with her. She had been so tired that she forgot to reset the alarm and put her guns in place.

Where that bitch nigga of yours at?” Scar asked loudly.

Fuck you nigga, He grown and don’t have to check in, so I don’t know where he at. But I can tell you if he come in here now, you’ll some dead niggas!” Van screamed back.

Scar laughed, “Kid I told you this bitch got a fly mouth, to match with that body.” With Scar’s last comment Van realized she was standing there naked.

Damn can I at least grab a towel or you bitches so hard up to see a pussy, I got to stand here naked?”

Fuck you bitch put the towel around your little ass, but be slow with it.” Scar shouted back.

After Van wrapped the towel around her, Scar and the other man guide her into the living room. She looked on the floor and saw Bear lying in a pool of blood. She could tell he was not breathing; a tear ran down her eye. “You nigga’s going to get ya’lls”

Bitch that dog had it coming, after what it did to my arm, but that’s the least of your problem. Right now you need to be calling that nigga of yours and telling him to get home.” Scar motion Van to her cell phone. She picked it up and texted the code 47 to Q. Code 45 was the emergency code, however 47 meant emergency, but come with caution.

And don’t be texting no extra shit” Scar spoke while looking at what Van was typing. She ended the message with “I Love you more than life itself”.

A couple of hours had passed and it was nearly 6am. They had been sitting there all night and now into the morning. Van had been hoping one of the men would fall asleep, so she could make it to the small hand gun under the cushion of the couch. She knew that because they had chosen a house way out in the country, no one had heard the gun shot that had killed bear. So it was no chance that help would be on the way.

Yo man what we going to do? A nigga getting tired,” the other man asked Scar.

Shit I’m thinking nigga, I thought this country ass nigga would have been home by now, I only got to 9am, before them crackers get on my ass.” Scar looked at Van.

Bitch stand up!”

For what?” Van snapped back

Bitch because I got a gun and I told you to. Plus a nigga don’t want your mother to have to bury you in a closed casket.”

Van knew if she was going to have any chance, she would have to make her move now. She shifted her body and dove her hand under the couch cushion.

Pow, Pow, Pow. Van could hear the shots, but she could also feel the metal of the gun. She pulled it from the sofa and un-click the safety, all in one motion. Van began to fire back, she shoot the guy sitting in the lazy chair twice in the chest. As she went to turn the gun on Scar he struck out the front door. Van tried to run after him, but her legs would not move. She felt what she thought was sweat running all down her body. There was a burning sensation all in her chest. Van grabbed the towel to wipe herself off. The thick white towel began to turn red the more she wiped. The burning got hotter and her head started to spin. All she could think to do was call out Q’s name

Q baby I need you, where are you?”

It was exactly 8:30 am when Kiki pulled up to Van’s and Q house. She figured she would get there a little early, because she knew how Van would act if she was late. Whenever Q was away, Van hurried to get back to him. As Kiki walked up to the house, she noticed that the screen door was flung open and that the front entry was open also. When she looked inside she could see a man lying back in the big lazy boy chair. She looked across the room to see Van lying on the floor in front of the couch.

Van!!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed, “Get up are you ok, O God what has happen.” The more she tried to lift Van the more she could feel the blood running onto her body. Kiki was terrified; she couldn’t think of what to do next.

Ok, Ok, calm down KiKi, put some pressure on her wounds and call the ambulance” she said to herself aloud. She grabbed her cell phone and dialed 911.

Van please stay with me, The lord is my Sheppard, I shall not want, The Lord is my Sheppard I shall not want.” Kiki just kept repeating the bible verse, she had learned for her Easter speech at church, when she was 9 years old. She grabbed her phone again and scrolled threw it until she found Q’s name and hit the send button. The phone went straight to voicemail, “Q something terrible as happen to Van, please call me back!”

She hung up and redialed the number, it went to voicemail again. “Q damit answer the phone, call me back!”

Chapter 17

[
I can’t breathe without you!
]

Tee and Q awoke to a loud bang at the hotel door. They looked at each other and simultaneously and asked, “Who in the hell can that be?” Q got up and slid his shorts on and his wife beater. “Boom, Boom, Boom,” the knocking continued. “Damn,” Q said to Tee, “I know the cleaning people ain’t like this in this mother fucker.”

When he got to the door, he didn’t even think to look through the peep hole, he just flung the door open. On the other side stood June, Tim and Terri. Q could tell by the look on their faces that something was wrong.

Damn, my nigga, what got you banging on a nigga door like that? I thought we were not meeting until 12 or 1pm.”

Q it’s Van, bro, Kiki called me and said we got to get you there now.”

What you mean it’s Van and get me where nigga?” Q’s first thought was that Van may have came up early and went to his room and saw he wasn’t there and was probably tripping.

Back to Rockingham, my nigga, Van been shot and....” before he could get the rest out. Q began, shaking his head no, his eyes began filling up with water.

No nigga, no nigga, aint no way nothing the matter with her, Tim man quit playing! She would have called me, Kiki would have called me! Nigga say you playing.” Q grabbed Tim on both shoulders. He looked into Tim’s eyes, and then over at Junes’, he could see that both of them were matching him with tears. He knew that this was not a joke. He turned and looked at the night stand for his phone. Q ran over and grabbed it. He could see 18 miss calls and one text that read: Code 47 and “I Love you more than life itself”.
