“Have I been talkin dirty?’

“No.”

“Have I said anything about makin you cum three times last Friday?”

“No, you haven’t.”

“But you got a wet pussy. You gettin all hot and wet just talking about ordinary stuff.

What that tell you?” She didn’t answer. He continued. “Last Friday when you got home did you and your husband fuck?

“Yes, we did.”

“Was it good? Did you cum?”

“Yes it was and yes I did.”

“You cum three times with me and once with your husband on a Friday night. That’s a lot of fuckin. I’m thinkin I helped you cum good there in that bed with your husband. Is I right?” She didn’t answer. “You ain’t sayin no, so I’m guessin Danny’s dick was in you, but you was thinkin about Darnell’s dick.” He laughed. “What you wearin right now?”

“My bikini.”

“You at the pool?”

“No, I was on the balcony. It has a roof. I don’t like the sun.”

“Got to keep your body white. What was Uncle Gordie always sayin?”

“Contrasts,” she said.

“Yeah, contrasts; real white and real black. It’s good you stay out of the sun.”

“Yes...yes it is.”

“You get yourself off these last couple of days?” She didn’t answer. “I asked you a fuckin question. Either talk to me or I hang up the fuckin phone.”

“Yes, I did.”

“How many times?”

“Four, maybe five.”

“What you thinkin about when you playin with your pussy?”

“You know....you know what I was thinking about.”

“Yeah, I know, but I like to hear you say it.”

“I was thinking about you....about our Friday evening.”

“You gonna spend the rest of your life fingerin yourself thinkin about Darnell’s cock?”

“In time it will pass.”

“On Friday you said you been jerkin yourself off thinkin about me for the last five fuckin years. Don’t sound like that’s gonna change.”

“Maybe you’re right. I’ll just have to live with it.”

“Were you gonna call me today?”

“No....uh...well I thought about it.”

“You glad I called you?”

“Yes.”

“Why’s that? Why you glad I called you?”

“I...I....don’t know...it’s just that....I don’t know, Darnell. I don’t.”

“Yeah you do. You know.” There was a long pause. “We been talkin for ten minutes and I ain’t heard no affection yet.”

“Darnell, it’s over. I’m going home on Friday.”

“Here’s what I want you to do.” His voice had taken on the familiar hard edge. “I want you to go out and buy one of them little black dresses, short and tight, real tight, the kind that lets anyone who looks know you ain’t got nothin on under it. And buy a pair of black fuck-me shoes, high heel.”

“Darnell I...I’m not....”

He cut her off, “And make yourself look hot and pretty for me. Be here at my bar at seven-thirty tomorrow night. We got to say a proper goodbye.”

“I can’t do that, Darnell. You know I can’t.”

“If you’re gonna come call me tomorrow afternoon at two. If you come you come, if you don’t you don’t.” He hung up.

She clicked her cell phone shut, buried her head in her hands and wept. She continued to lie there for a long while thinking about her life these past five years with Danny. He was so good to her parents before they died. He not only loved her, he treated her with respect. He valued her opinion. He indulged her in every way imaginable. There were the houses, the cars, the clothes, the parties, the football games, the vacations. Almost everywhere they went he was recognized. He was admired throughout the sports world. He was sought after for television interviews.

He was handsome, strong, and unassuming. The wives of other players envied her.

He had invested well so that after next year he could retire and they could have all their days and nights together. They could travel the world. They could expand their charitable activities. They could adopt a couple of children. Married to the most wonderful man she had ever known, a stress free life lay ahead of her. To even consider having a farewell drink with Darnell was insane.

She cleaned up the broken glass and took a long hot shower. She was tempted to get herself off, but as a test of will drove thoughts of last Friday evening out of her head.

After a day of golf and drinking with politicians and business men, Danny was exhausted when he got back to the hotel. They ordered a light dinner from room service. Danny fell asleep immediately. She was still looking at the clock at 2:00 AM.

Danny was up early and off to the children’s hospital. He didn’t wake her. He left a note saying he’d be back by eight to take her to the finest restaurant in Mexico City and then dancing. Ann woke at 10:00. She knew she couldn’t spend another day alone in the hotel room. She pulled on a pair of jeans, a light sweater, slipped her feet into flip-flops, picked up her book and her purse and took a taxi to the center of town where she knew there was a small but lovely park. She found an empty bench in a deserted area of the park determined to become engrossed in the novel she’d brought along. However, like yesterday, she found herself reading the words, but having little idea of what she’d read.

Her mind kept calling up moments out of the past; little epiphanies: Darnell standing in the doorway of her classroom looking sullen, his filthy tee shirt spelling out “Once You Go Black”, Darnell in her morning kitchen telling her to go back and put on her fuck-me shoes, Darnell feeling her breasts and fingering her in front of his homies, Darnell holding his stiff cock out to her and saying, “Kiss it”, the sight of Darnell’s long black cock entering her, the scent and taste of it.

At 2:00 o’clock she held her cell phone and nervously punched in the numbers he had given her.

It was as if he was sure she would call. His voice was demanding, “Where you at?”

“In a taxi.”

“So?”

“I...I’ve been shopping.” He waited. “I bought the things....the things you said to buy.”

“Yeah?”

“The black dress, the shoes.”

“You know the place and time?”

“Yes, your bar at seven thirty.”

“That’s right. You gonna look hot and sexy for me?”

She hesitated, “I...I...don’t...” she began.

“You don’t what?” he interrupted.

“I will. I’ll try to...to look the way you like.” Before he could hang up she quickly said, “But, Darnell, you need to know that I’m coming just for a drink.....as you said, a farewell drink....nothing more.” The line went dead. “Arrogant bastard,” she said to herself. “To Hell with him.”

At six o’clock she had come out of the shower and was rubbing her body with perfumed oil. She was pleased with the fact that she’d exercised enough will power to keep from masturbating in the shower, but now as she drew a finger through the crease of her pussy it felt slick and hot. She brushed her hair vigorously and took great care with her make-up: mascara, the familiar bright red lipstick and gloss. The black dress was made of cotton and spandex. It fit like a second skin. Thin straps went over her shoulders. The “V” neck front revealed the upper swell of her breasts. The hem came to just above her knees. It was obvious that she wore nothing under it. The black strappy stilettos had a pencil-thin four inch heel.

In the cab she kept repeating to herself, “Just a drink and then I’ll go.” At the same time, hot tingling waves of excitement continued to spread from her breasts to her crotch. Her nipples were stiff. When they arrived, she paid the driver. Outside the door of his bar she hesitated and turned to call the taxi back, but it was disappearing around the corner.

She pushed open the door and stood inside for a moment adjusting to the darkened room. A couple occupied one of the tables to her right. Just inside the door next to the window that looked out onto the street was a thin old Mexican with a white beard. At another table near the back sat three large rough looking men. She assumed they were the men Darnell paid to protect his whores. Two young men sat at the bar drinking beer.

The bartender was the same one she’d seen before. On a stool at the end of the bar sat Darnell. He was wearing black slacks, black turtleneck, and a white sports coat. Everyone except Darnell turned to look at her as she entered. He didn’t acknowledge her until she stood at his side.

He gestured toward the stool next to him and ordered her a chardonnay. He still hadn’t spoken. She stared at the wine glass, then turned to him holding it up, “This is our farewell drink,” she said, but failed to keep the tremor out of her voice.

He appraised her and nodded, “You lookin real good, Mrs. Morgan.” She was aware he’d noticed that her nipples were stiff under the dress. He touched the rim of her glass with his own, “To us,” he said. “To Darnell and his hot sexy teacher.” He looked at his watch, then reached out to place his hand on top of hers which rested on the bar. They both drank. He squeezed her hand, “Yeah, hot....you are a fuckin hot lookin woman,” he said. He placed his other hand on the inside of this thigh and grabbed what she knew to be his hardening cock. She blushed and felt the waves of heat wash downward. She knew her pussy was wet. It had been wet from the moment she’d entered the cab.

“It don’t have to be a goodbye drink,” he said. “Could be a hello drink, you know what I’m sayin.” He pulled his stool closer so that his face was just inches from hers.

She tried to look away, but she couldn’t. In his eyes she saw the same old resentment and the desire. She wondered what her own eyes revealed. “It’s too late, Darnell. Maybe......maybe if we were here like this five years ago...maybe then, but...”

“Five years ago I was just a dumb kid and you didn’t know who the fuck you was.”

“And you’re saying now I know?”

“Yeah, we both know.”

“We know you ain’t Miss fuckin happy housewife. Uncle Gordie knew, but he thought maybe he could change things by keepin me out of the states and marryin you off to the jock. Shit, that almost worked. How could he know I’d do ok down here without his help and one day you’d show up.”

“My God, Darnell, what you’re suggesting is...is...”

Darnell glanced at the old man by the door and leaned forward, “Kiss,” he said. He drew her face to his. She parted her lips for him. The kiss lasted a long time.

She hadn’t heard the door open and close. Danny stood in stunned silence before charging toward them. “Jesus Christ!” he yelled, “what the Hell...”

The three big Mexicans stood up to intercept him. Darnell waved them off. Ann had spun around, “Oh my God!” She stood up between her husband and Darnell. “Please, Danny, please don’t.”

Darnell had slid off his stool. He gestured toward the three Mexicans, “They as good at breakin legs as you is at makin touchdowns. You go outta here with a broken leg there’s goes the Giants season. You fuck over your teammates, your New York fans, and them little kids in the hospital. Think about it.”

Danny glared down at his wife, “Goddamnit Ann, they got you drugged or something? What’s goin on here?”

“I...I’m sorry, Danny. I’m sorry you saw that. How did you....”

“I got home early. There was a message on the machine sayin you was here. It gave the address.”

Darnell moved to stand beside Ann, “I think we gotta talk and this ain’t the place to do it. My apartment’s upstairs.” He waved toward the beaded archway. Without saying anything Ann and Danny followed him. Inside, he led Ann to one of the two chairs facing the coffee table. He indicated Danny should sit on the couch opposite her. “I think we could use a drink.” he said, moving to a small bar on the side of the room.

He poured wine for Ann and bourbon for himself. He nodded at Ann, “What your husband drink?”

“Scotch.”

He poured and handed Danny a glass, “Johnny Walker Black,” he said. “The best.” He moved to stand behind Ann’s chair. “I think we ought to start with a clean slate, just like in high school,” he chuckled. He tapped Ann on her shoulder. “Tell him where you was last Friday evening.”

Ann felt her cheeks burning. She turned to face Darnell the anger flashing in her eyes, “No, damn you, no!” she yelled.

“Better he hear it from you than from me,” Darnell said.

After several moments Ann looked across at her husband, “I was here,” she said.

“Why?” Danny still seemed to think she had been drugged or coerced in some way. “Why the hell did you come here? Or did someone bring you here, make you come?”

“No,” she said. “I came because Darnell invited me.”

Darnell nodded, “We go back a long ways, Ann and me. She was my teacher years ago when she belonged to the NWS. You remember that, Uncle Watt’s NWS. You know she was one of his...his...bitches.”

“He forced her. He had something on her husband and made them both sign contracts.”

“Yeah, but she was in service for awhile. In fact she learn how to suck cock on your dick. I bet you two never talk about that.” Danny felt himself blushing. Darnell laughed.

“In those days she was mostly my woman. I made her cum the first time in her fuckin life. My dick was the first one up her ass.”

Danny started to rise. “You son-of-a bitch!”

“Sit the fuck down, Mr. Football hero. I just gotta press a button and them three leg breakers be up here in ten seconds.” They sat in silence for a minute. Darnell’s hand rested on Ann’s bare shoulder. “Tell him what we done here last Friday. How many time did I make you cum?”

Ann bowed her head. “Three, maybe four.”

“You suck my cock?”

“Yes.”

“Swallow?”

“Yes.”

“All of it?”

“Yes.”

“You go home then and have good sex with your husband?”

“Yes.”

“But what you thinkin about while he fucking you.”

Ann didn’t respond. He squeezed her shoulder. She glanced at her husband then lowered her eyes. “About you,” she whispered. “I was thinking about you.”

“Did I make you come here tonight? Do I have anything on you, anything to make you do what you don’t want to do?”

“No, you don’t. You invited me here tonight and I decided to come.”

“What was you expectin to happen here tonight?”

“I thought we’d have a farewell drink, but...but...” She turned her head to look up at him, “I...don’t know.” She glanced at her husband, “Certainly not this.”
