I watch Blue’s eyes as he turns to look at me.

They heat instantly.

Nancy leans in close. “I told you.” She whispers.

I giggle softly and nod as she moves around me fixing the dress so I could see exactly how it would fit me.

Harley bounds up onto the platform with me.

She claps her hands together as she holds back her excitement.

“That’s the one.”
She nearly screams inside my head.

After a few minutes of staring at myself in the mirrors I look to Blue for his opinion. “What do you think?”

He shrugs as if it’s no big deal. “I like it.”

I nod and scrunch my nose as I look into the mirror again. “I don’t think I like it.” I lie.

Giving me a wink Nancy helps me off of the platform and back to the dressing room to take the dress off.

Out in the main room Harley begins talking loudly with the others to keep them from overhearing my conversation with Nancy.

“I want this one for sure but is there any way to change the lace on the sides to a black lace and maybe add some black beads to the top?” I question her softly.

She nods. “I can do that without a problem.”

“Can you do it all by tomorrow?” I ask next.

“I’ll have it done before you leave here today.” She promises.

Pulling her into an abrupt hug I thank her. “You have no idea how much that means to me, thank you.”

I let her go and she smiles as tears fill her eyes. “You’re welcome, Parker. Your mom would have loved to see you in this dress.”

Before I even ask she nods. “I knew your mom well. She came in here often to look at these dresses while talking about you.”

This time tears fill my eyes as I point to the dress I still had on. “Did she pick that one out for me?”

Nancy nods. “Yes, she did. That’s why I put it on the rack first. I knew you’d love it the second you put it on.”

“Thank you.” I whisper with emotion clogging my voice.

She nods and hands me another dress. “We need to make this look as real as we can so he doesn’t realize you’ve already picked your dress.”

I smile and move into the room before slipping out of the first dress.

I hand it out the door to Nancy before changing into the next dress.

This one had straps but the dress didn’t fan out like the one before. It hugged my body snuggly. The whole thing was plain with just a little bit of bead work around the top.

As I step out I snort. “This might drive him a bit crazy.”

Nancy nods as she sits in a chair next to the changing room taking out the lace from my first dress.

She moves to stand but I stop her. “Keep working on that one. I’ll have Harley help us out.”

Nodding she sits back down and continues to work as I step out onto the platform again.

Dillon and Rowan let out low whistles.

Blue’s jaw drops and Damon grunts as he turns his attention fully towards Harley.

“I like that one.” Blue blurts.

I roll my eyes as I look at him. “Of course you do.”

Harley once again comes up to inspect the dress closer, playing her part as if she didn’t already know that I had picked my dress.

“I need your help in the back.” I whisper.

She nods and then follows me back to the changing room to try on another dress.

After trying on a few more dresses I decide enough was enough.

The guys were growing restless and bored and even I was on the verge of groaning at the thought of putting on another dress.

There was only one dress I wanted.

Nancy had finished the touches I had requested and I was eager to try it on one last time before we left.

In the dressing room I slip the dress on and smooth my hands over the material.

It was perfect.

The lace and the bead work were perfect too.

Slipping it back off I change into my regular clothes before walking out and handing the dress to Nancy for her to put into a box so I could take it home today.

Once Nancy is done she hands me my box and grabs me into a hug. “You’re going to be beautiful.”

“Thank you.” I reply back and quickly wipe the tears that fall from my eyes.

“Go on out and I’ll take care of the rest, Parker.” Harley instructs.

I nod and go out into the mirrored room.

“Oh thank god.” Dillon groans. “I don’t think I could have handled looking at another dress. Don’t get me wrong you looked amazing but it’s no fun if we can’t see more skin.”

I laugh. “I picked one out and have it in here already.”

“Good, now we can get back home where it’s safe.” Blue sighs softly as he stands and then pulls me into his arms.

A few moments later Harley walks out with Nancy and motions for us to go ahead and leave the store.

26-Wedding Day

I
’m so nervous, Harley.” I state as I pace the floor of my room while wearing my dress.

My hair was cascading down my back in large curls.

Each step I took I could feel them bouncing off of my skin.

“Everything is fine. The guys are all dressed and ready to go. The decorations are perfect and the cake looks amazing.” Harley reassures me. “This wedding is going to be perfect.”

I nod and take a deep breath.

“I have to leave you for a minute but I’ll be right back, okay.” Harley then states.

I nod again. “Just hurry.”

She nods and then rushes out of the bedroom and down the hallway.

Turning towards my window I watch below as the people gather near the platform where I would meet Blue to say our vows.

The decorations were beautiful, even from where I was standing.

I just couldn’t help my nerves.

It wasn’t that I was scared of Blue saying no it was more of I couldn’t wait for his reaction as I walked down the aisle towards him.

The door to my room opens and I turn half expecting Harley to be there but it was Ford.

He was wearing a dark blue tux that looked good on him even though his hair was still and unruly mess.

That was just him though.

“Harley wanted me to bring you down to one of the rooms downstairs. Something about it being easier for you to walk out of when the time was right.” He stutters through his words.

I nod and smile as I lift my dress and walk over to him.

He gently grabs the back of the dress off of the ground and follows me out of my room and then down the stairs.

“Which room?” I ask as I glance back at him.

He motions towards one of the rooms close to the main living room and I nod as I make my way down the hallway carefully.

I turn and walk into the dark room.

My body instantly tenses as the door shuts behind me and the lock clicks into place.

The light flicks on and I gasp in horror.

Before me was Emmett with Dillon held in his grasp while holding a knife to his throat.

“Scream for help in any way and I’ll kill him without a second thought.” Emmett warns.

“I’ll do whatever you want, Emmett, just let him go.” I try to reason with him.

I would do anything to save Dillon.

Suddenly hands grab me from behind before slipping a set of handcuffs around my wrists.

“Don’t fight us and both of you will get out of this alive.” Emmett replies with a snarl before shoving Dillon to the ground.

I watch as he then pulls a needle from his pocket before shoving into the back of Dillon’s neck.

Within a minutes time Dillon’s body falls limp to the floor.

“What did you do to him?” I snarl.

“I only put him to sleep so I can transport you better.” Emmett replies with a smug grin as he stalks over to me.

He picks up my chin roughly. “You forgot all about me, didn’t you, Babe?”

“I never wanted you.” I spit out.

“Yes, you did, and I’m going to have what’s mine.” Emmett replies before pressing his lips against mine roughly.

I bite his lower lip drawling blood before he pulls away.

“I should have known you’d do that, you always did like it rough.” Emmett grins menacingly as he wipes away a drop of blood.

“Go to hell, you’re never going to touch me like that again.” I growl out.

“That’s what you think, but you belong to me now.” Emmett snarls back.

Grabbing me roughly he glances behind me for a moment before hitting me in my stomach so that I had no choice but to gasp.

It was a huge mistake to make.

Emmett quickly gags me with a cloth that is then tied behind my head.

“Scream for help in here and I will kill anyone who comes and then I’ll make you watch as I kill him.” He warns as he motions towards Dillon.

I nod and remain quiet.

My mind was screaming for me to yell out to Blue though.

There was no way I was going to put him into that kind of danger. He wouldn’t be able to stand up against someone like Emmett.

It would only get him killed.

Emmett suddenly throws me over his shoulder before marching out of the room with Ford following close behind with Dillon’s body draped over his shoulder.

Emmett marches straight through the house without an issue.

Everyone was out in the yard.

He walks through the front door and down to a black SUV sitting in the driveway.

He opens the back and shoves me inside before Ford tosses Dillon in with me roughly.

“What the hell are you doing?” London suddenly growls as he steps out of the house alone.

Emmett laughs as he looks towards me before producing a gun.

In one swift move he turns and hits London with a dart.

London falls to the ground immediately.

“Looks like I have another friend for you to hang out with, Babe.” Emmett grins as he turns back to me.

Ford tosses London’s body in the back next to Dillon’s before Emmett closes the back of the SUV and then makes his way to the driver’s side before getting into the vehicle.

The engine starts and I stare out the window as he begins pulling away from the house.

I watch as Blue and Rowan rush out of the front door.

Blue screams loudly before changing into his wolf form.

“Blue, stay back, please.”
I plead with him in his mind.

“I’m not letting him take you away from me.”
Blue growls back.

“Rowan, stop him before he gets himself killed.”
I order him in his mind.

Rowan was my only hope.

I watch through my tears as Rowan turns on Blue, knocking him down to the ground before they begin to fight each other.

As Emmett drives us through the main gate at the end of my father’s pack’s community I allow my tears to turn into sobs.

“I love you, Blue.”
I whisper into his mind.

“I love you too, Sweetheart.”
He replies back with raw emotion clogging his words, even in my mind.

“We will find you.”
He then promises.

“I know you will.”
I reply softly.

As Emmett drives further away from Blue our connection breaks leaving me all alone with my thoughts and fears.

I couldn’t help but feel as if I would never see Blue again.

M
y heart hammers in my chest as we drive through a familiar patch of woods on an old gravel road.

I knew exactly where Emmett and Ford were taking us.

They were taking us to the Island.

All the sudden Emmett’s confession of where he lived made sense.

He had been locked away in here.

And my guess was that they were using his family against him in order to get me into their clutches once again.

I was the one of the wolves who had gotten away after all, and if what Ford had said was true then I was worth a lot to them.

If I had any other guess as to the reason they wanted me it was more than likely for their little breeding program that they had.

My future was suddenly looking hopeless.

There was no way I was going to let Blue risk his life to break me out of here.

Look at what happened last time.

As we come to a stop in front of the front gates leading into the Island.

Emmett hops out of the front before moving around to the back.

I flinch back as he opens the back door with a syringe held in his hand.

“Sorry, Babe, but I have to knock you out. You understand.” He states before grabbing my hair roughly jerking me forward so he could stick the needle into the back of my neck.

The liquid burns as it enters my body.

A few moments later Emmett steps back as my vision begins to blur and my world begins to spin before everything goes dark and my body hits the floor of the SUV with a hard thud.

I was in trouble now but there was nothing I could do.

We were in this for the long haul.

We were royally screwed.
