Chapter Eighteen
-Evan Utley

After I snuck into Maddie’s house to lay out a sexy and

very short black dress, accessories, and shoes on her

bed, I went home to get dressed for tonight. I stared at

myself in the full-length mirror and smiled a little.

Ahh…what a man would do for love and a fine piece of
ass!

Grabbing my keys, I strolled out of the house and into

my over-sized truck. It didn’t take me long to pick out a

bouquet of white roses at the flower shop and make my

way towards my woman.

I couldn’t help but feel a little nervous as I drove to pick

up Maddie. This was our first-and extremely long

overdue-date. It’s been so long since I have gone out
with a woman, I kind of forgotten what it’s like to wine

and dine a lady.

Then again, Maddison Callen wasn’t just some ordinary

woman. She was the only woman who had made my

heart completely ache for her. Her smile warmed my

soul and I would do anything to hear that giggle of hers.

I’m well aware that I deserve the
worst son of the year
award
due to taking her away from my father. She had

given birth to my half-sister only a few days before I had

given my heart and soul to her. One look at this woman

and I was absolutely captivated.

I pulled up in front of her house, climbed out of the

truck, and walked up to her door with the bouquet of

roses in hand. Taking a deep breath in and exhaling, I

rang the doorbell.

The door swung open and there my woman stood,

looking fuckable as ever in that very short dress. A smile
illuminated her face when she saw me. “Hey baby. Nice

suit.”

“Only the best of the best for my lady.” I told her. “These

are for you.”

She took the flowers, smiling as she pressed her nose up

against one to sniff it. “That’s so sweet. Thank you. I’m

going to put these in water. You may come in if you’d

like.”

I followed her into the kitchen and watched as she put

some water in a vase.

She placed the roses in the vase and looked up at me.

“Do you have any more surprises for me this evening?”

“You bet I do. We have a dinner reservation. Are you

ready to go?” I asked while following her back into the

living room.

“Of course.” She said after slipping on her heels.
As we made it to my truck, I spun her around and kissed

her sweet lips. I grabbed her by the ass-cheeks and

placed her into the passenger seat. Walking around to

my side, I climbed in and turned over the ignition.

I took her hand in mine after pulling onto the road.

“Thank you for coming on this date with me this

evening.”

“Are you kidding me? Tonight was long over-due.” She

told me with a little smile. “You’re only doing this for the

sex anyways.”

My amused smile turned into a frown as my eyes met

hers once I stopped at a light. “You know damn well

than to believe that shit Mads. I’m in love with you and

it’s not just because of the sex.”

Before she could say a word, I stomped on the gas pedal

and sped to the restaurant.
****

The hostess escorted us to a table in the middle of the

dining room. Our waiter served us wine as well as our

appetizers. I took the liberty of ordering everything

ahead so we would have less waiting time.

I couldn’t keep my eyes off Maddison even if I wanted to.

She looked so damn beautiful tonight. What in the hell

am I saying? She looked absolutely amazing every night.

The small bulge in my jacket pocket was a consistent

reminder, yelling at me to pop the question already. I

wanted nothing more than to make this exotic woman

my wife. She is smart, talented, and already a great

mother.

For the first time in my life, I wasn’t scared shitless to

have kids…just as long as this woman was their mother.
My insides began to tremble out of nerves as the lump in

my pocket was beginning to feel like a ton of bricks. I

downed the rest of my wine and took a deep breath.

“Maddison, I have to talk to you about something rather

important.”

She took a break from her chocolate pie to look at me.

“You can talk to me about anything baby. What’s

wrong?”

I saw the waiter and nodded as I stood up. A few eyes

burned into my skin and I cleared my throat. “Maddison

Marie Callen, I have been in love with you from the

moment I laid eyes on you. You are so incredibly perfect

and take my breath away every time I see you smile.

You’re smart, beautiful, an amazing mother, and a

completely stubborn woman who isn’t afraid to whip my

ass…” I began to say while propping myself on one knee

and opening the ring box before her. “I would forever be
the luckiest man alive if you say yes to my next

question…”

“Yes!” She exclaimed, covering her mouth with surprise.

I quickly snapped the ring box shut. “Now wait a minute,

I haven’t asked the question yet.” Smiling at her as a

couple of chuckles filled the air.

Focusing my attention solely on her, I opened the small

box back up and presented it to her. “Maddison Marie

Callen, will you have me as your husband?” Staring into

her eyes and paying no attention to the people who were

watching us.

She nodded her head as her eyes filled with tears. “Yes

Evan. Yes, I will have you as my husband.”

Pulling the ring out, I slid it on the appropriate finger as

my lips found their way home to hers. I stood and picked

her up with our lips still pressed together. Since I had
already paid everything ahead of time, I carried my

woman out of the restaurant while everyone in the place

clapped and cheered for us.

I carried Maddison into her house, shutting the door

with my foot and didn’t set her down until we reached

her bedroom. She took off her necklace, bracelet, and

freed herself from the dress. I removed every piece of

clothing I wore and crawled in bed on top of her.

My lips trailed kisses all over her neck and chest as my

dick ached to be inside her. For the first time in my life, I

was taking my time and not allowing my dick to do all

the thinking. Tonight, I was going to try my hand at

making love to my extremely sexy fiancée.

I started off by teasing her with my growing manhood;

letting her feel how much I needed and wanted her.

Using my knees to spread her legs apart, I slowly pushed
my erection into her and gently thrusted. I had to keep

reminding myself to keep the pace nice and steady.

My manhood stretched further in as her vaginal walls

opened up. The feel of her insides against my skin felt

like absolute heaven. I couldn’t get enough of her.

Our tongues danced together as my hips kept a slow but

very enjoyable rhythm. I have never in my life made love

to a woman like this before. My ideas of sex were fuck

hard and definitely not slow.

This woman has dramatically altered my ways of

thinking. Sure, I would still fuck the living bat-shit out of

her. But with her, I now needed that sweet lovemaking.

“Evan…I really appreciate what you’re trying to do. I get

the whole being sweet and sensual since we just got

engaged. But for the love of my orgasm, fuck me until

my voice goes hoarse!” Maddison interrupted my

thoughts.
I couldn’t help but grin as my fingers tightened against

her thigh and my pelvis thudded against hers.

Oh damn! I love this woman!

The next day, Sammy kidnapped my fiancée to start

planning for the wedding. I knew Maddie was grateful to

have Sammy back into her life.

Our family happened to be a huge, fucked up mess. The

woman I imprinted on was the same woman I heard my

dad fuck on a nightly basis. At least now I know that I

will be getting a lot of wet pussy when I knock her up.

Sweet damn she and my father would go at it for hours!

The back door opened while I had been cleaning up the

kitchen from breakfast. I looked up and smiled. “Hey

twin. I’m surprised to see you here. Why aren’t you with

Sammy and Maddie?”
She shrugged while taking a seat at the table. “Told them

I had a lot going on today. Don’t worry, I gave them a list

of the best places to shop.”

“You and I both know you’re not that busy.” I stopped to

stare at her. “What’s going on? Gabriel being a douche

again?”

She grabbed the fresh cup of coffee I held out for her,

rolling her eyes a little. “No. I’m worried about you, you

big dumb idiot. Have you even tried to tell Maddison

about being sick?”

I shrugged while plopping down onto one of the chairs.

“There’s nothing to tell. It’s just a brain tumor.”

“Alright then hot shot.” She said while sitting up. “If it’s

not that important, then why don’t you go ahead and tell

Maddie? Is my baby brother scared of is witty-bitty

fiancée?”
“No. I’m not afraid of anyone.” I snorted in annoyance.

“I don’t see the need in worrying her over something so

stupid. You heard the doctor. He said it was benign

enough to not cause harm.”

She sighed and shook her head. “Whatever you say.

She’s going to find out whether you tell her or not. You

can’t keep this secret forever.”

Chapter Nineteen

-Evan Utley
The kingdom has not been the same since the day our
king lost our beloved queen. Our world was turned
completely upside down when Gabriel decided to step
down as leader. He left his kingdom to the second in
command.
Along with departing from his kingdom, Gabriel also
kept his only son Matthew behind to be raised by the
almost-queen Sapphire. She was the one responsible for
the king being able to marry his true soul-mate. I could
see why he entrusted her to raise his child.
Sapphire had to be one of the strongest women I knew.
I have worked closely with her husband; he and I share
the responsibilities in keeping the castle safe. One could
say that Collin Utley wasn’t the easiest to get along
with.
After a long night’s shift, I made my way into the
kitchen to retrieve a short meal before heading to my
chambers. One of the maids jumped a little the moment
she looked up at me. “My apologies, miss. I did not
mean to startle you. What are you doing up and about
so late?”
“I apologize for assuming nobody would be awake at
this hour. Allow me to get out of your way.” She spoke
while moving to walk out of the room.
My body quickly moved to block the only exit. “Please
stay. I wouldn’t mind having some company. What is
your name?”
She stared rather intensely into my eyes. “Maddison
Callen.”
My smile illuminated while my eyes remained on hers. I
couldn’t help but feel attracted to this woman. She was
simply too beautiful to be a maid. “It’s truly an honor to
meet you, Miss Maddison Callen.”

Deep down, I knew my sister was right. I should tell

Maddie about my tumor. The woman had agreed to

spend the rest of her life with me, the least I could do

was inform her on what the hell is wrong with the man

she’s about to marry.

Part of me wanted to just come right out and tell

Maddison, but another part didn’t. She doesn’t deserve

to stress out and worry over me. I felt perfectly fine.

“Oh my goodness. I have almost forgotten how fun

shopping with Sammy is.” My fiancée practically

bounced in through the doorway of our room.
I turned the TV off and sat up to snag a better view of

that sexy body of hers. “Oh yeah? So wedding shopping

wasn’t too bad then?”

She warmly smiled as she kicked off her heels. I couldn’t

help but stare at her gorgeous legs. The same legs that

would be wrapped around my waist when I go to fuck

her against the shower wall in a matter of a few short

minutes.

“I must admit, shopping for our wedding has been fun.

Erin convinced Matthew to design and make the dresses.

The ladies and I are going to look hot.” Her voice pulled

me back from my sexual thoughts.

My eyes found their way up to hers. “Mm…baby…you
