not all Mad Men. I have a season of The Good Wife, about ten episodes
of The Big Bang Theory and two seasons of Modern Family in there,”
Julie said before picking up another slice.

Steven
looked at her and then at the TV.

“
We
work too much,” he said.

“
And
you are just realizing that?” she asked in between bites.

“
How
about we take some time off? We can do next weekend,” he said.

Do
you really think we are going to be able to? I mean, our schedules
are hectic. I am on an insane roll and you with the Noble and Byrnes

He
shrugged and looked into her eyes.

make it work. We can leave on a Thursday afternoon and stay out till
Sunday evening. How does that sound?” he asked.

“

He
took one last bite and then opened a bottle of grape soda.

Then
it’s a date,” he said before taking a sip. Julie shrugged
and nodded before she pressed the play button. She put her half eaten
slice back on the plate and leaned against him. Steven looked down at
her. “You done already?” he asked.

Well,
