PUGGY moved in with Nina in the maid's room, although every now and then, for old time's sake, they slept in the tree. Puggy did odd jobs around the house for Eliot and Anna; sometimes he earned extra money by voting in Miami municipal elections, which were ordered by the courts at frequent intervals.
