She paid no attention to her direction she just wanted to get away. She was supposed to be the
only
one.

Chapter Ten

Gabriella took a moment to check on her surroundings. Subconsciously she had been heading roughly back towards the nest. She was now on the edge of the residential area nearest to the industrial estate where their old steelworks was. Gabriella had just decided to head back there to wait for Francesca to return
when she spied a lone figure getting out of a car less than fifty metres away.

He was a man in his late thirties. Dressed in a dark suit and carrying a black briefcase he looked like a professional something, Gabriella wasn't exactly used to recognising more particular details than that. This was not a particularly wealthy neighbourhood. No really rich people lived here but it was a reasonably well-off sort of an area she judged. She could have some fun with this.

Silently Gabriella came up behind him as he walked to the gate at the end of his path.

"Mister?" she said putting a slight tremble in her voice.

The business man jumped and turned around. His defensive stance
relaxed when he saw what was apparently nothing more dangerous than a scared young woman.

"Yes," he said, a little impatiently. "What do you want?"

"Nothing," Gabriella said keeping her voice just on the edge. "It's just I . . ." She sobbed. "Sorry I  was . . ."

She turned the waterworks on full and burst into tears.

Rather uncertainly the man set his briefcase on the floor and moved closer to Gabriella to comfort her.

"Come on," he said. "What's up?"

Gabriella made like she was slowly getting control of herself again. "I'm so sorry," she said.

"Not to worry."

"You must think I'm such a diz," Gabriella said.

"Not at all. Although I'm not entirely sure what one of those is so I could think it," he said with a smile.

Gabriella gave a quick laugh as though amused by the feeble attempt at humour.

"That's better," he said. "Now, what's the matter?"

"I'm new to the area," Gabriella said thinking fast. "I live up there," She waved vaguely. "And I went out with my friends but I forgot my key and my mum works nights."

"You're locked out," The man said.

Gabriella nodded wordlessly. "My friends all live too far away to get there by walking, especially this late. I don't want to spend the night outside." She started sobbing again.

"Let's not start that again," The man said. "Look do you want to come inside to warm up for a bit? You can use my phone to call one of your friends and see if they'll pick you up to stop at their house."

Gabriella looked up at him hopefully. "Really?"

He nodded. "Come along."

He bent down to retrieve his briefcase and they turned and walked up the path to his door. He let Gabriella in and directed her to his living room.

"You live alone?" she asked as he turned on the lights.

He nodded. "Divorced. I have my kids every other weekend and a few weeks at the holidays. The phone's right there. Just don't call anyone in Taiwan."

Gabriella smiled and pretended to dial in a number. She acted as though it were ringing and then returned it to the cradle. "No answer," she said. She repeated the process two more times acting as though each failed attempt left her more frustrated.

After the last time she crashed down into one of a pair of cushioned chairs and sobbed into her hands. "What am I going to do?"

As he had before her Good Samaritan came close to comfort her. He put his arms around her and held her gently.

"You could stay here," he said. "There's a room upstairs made up for my own daughter when she comes to stop."

"That would be great," Gabriella said. "Thank you so much." She gave him a hug.

He blushed and pulled away. "I'll show you. You might even be able to fit into some of her night-clothes."

Gabriella let him lead her upstairs and into a girl’s bedroom. He crossed the sparse room, you could tell it was not lived in full-time, and pulled open a wardrobe door.

"Her night stuffs on here," He pointed to a shelf. "Take a look and see if anything fits."

Gabriella thanked him profusely again.

"I'll be outside."

Gabriella crossed to the door with him, still saying thank you as she walked. She closed the door behind him but not
fully, she left it open just a crack so it would swing open just so.

Moving back to the wardrobe she selected one of the smallest of his daughter's nighties. Holding the garment up to check the size, Gabriella moved to a part of the room that could be seen through the purposely open door. The business man could be seen through it with his back to her.

Gabriella stripped out of all but her underwear. "Nice place."

As expected the sound of her voice caught his attention and he half turned towards the room. His eyes flicked to the gap in the door. Gabriella kept her back to him and made sure he could not see her watching him. When he saw her nearly naked form he was just unable to resist. He kept watching as she peeled
off her last items of clothing. He turned away when she looked up, after pulling the too small nightie over her head and rubbing the smooth material  down over her curves with her hands

She left the room and touched his arm. He jolted as though her touch gave him an electric shock.

"Coffee?" he offered, clearly flustered.

She accepted his offer and they returned downstairs. Minutes later they were back in his living room. She sat in one of his chairs and he chose the one opposite her. He drank his coffee in silence as she pretended to sip hers.

His eyes kept straying to her barely covered body. The material of the nightie was pulled taught over her chest so it was a simple matter for him to discern
what it covered. Setting her mug on a table beside the chair Gabriella got to her feet and raised her arms over her head as though stretching. The result of her action was to pull the bottom of the short garment almost up to her navel giving him a
full
view.

When Gabriella looked at his trousers she knew he had noticed. Child's play, sometimes it was just too easy.

In less than ten minutes the pair were in full swing. His trousers and boxer shorts were down around his ankles and several of the buttons on his shirt were missing. Gabriella still wore her borrowed clothing but as she moved on top of him he moved his hands up under the material all over her body.

He was grunting underneath her, his face bright red and his cheeks puffed when he sucked in the air he needed to sustain himself during this activity. He was deep in the throes of ecstasy, almost at the point of no return, when Gabriella raised her fists above his head. She brought both hands down together into his idiot face crushing his skull. She brought her fists back and unleashed them on him again. And again. Blood spattered up on to the ceiling flung off her fists. And again. And again. In both single and double punches Gabriella continued to pummel his skull. Blood flew across the ceiling and the walls. It hit his sofa and his chairs, there was a crimson stain on the screen of his dormant television set. He was dead after the first blow but Gabriella did not stop until above his
neck all that remained was an unrecognisable pulp. A thick red and pink paste.

Francesca returned to the nest with a single female captive, slung over her shoulder and batting ineffectually at her back. Gabriella recognised it as the woman she had seen her with earlier in the night.

"I brought you a present." Francesca set her captive down on the ground and gave her a push that sent her stumbling towards Gabriella.

Wordlessly Gabriella moved across the inner chamber and grabbed hold of the woman on either side of the head. With a vicious twist she lifted her head off her shoulders, trailing severed blood vessels that spurted gore in a fountain.
Most of a spinal column was torn from down her back. Tossing the head away into a corner she caught the body and began to feast from the decapitated form.

Watching from the doorway Francesca gave a quick clap.

Xavier looked at the ground and shuffled his feet like an obedient little lapdog wondering how to please its master.

The Mistress's own little bitch watched from a chair in their private sanctum with growing glee at his predicament. But there was something different about the little whore. Something in the way she looked at Francesca.

Xavier had no time to ponder such things, however. He had to find some way to explain his actions that would keep him in Francesca's favour.

"I did not seek to disobey you, Mistress," he said. "I chanced upon them while I was out on the hunt. I believed they could make a valuable addition to the nest and invited their group to join us. Of course they will be instructed of your rules and informed of the punishments for not abiding by them."

For the first time since being called in to see her, Xavier raised his eyes to look on his Mistress.

"I meant no disrespect. If I erred in my judgement I will accept your punishment," he said contritely.

Francesca regarded him silently for a long moment. In the background the
little slut stared at the back of Francesca's head, as though she were trying to get inside her mind and discover what she was thinking.

Seconds were stretched to an eternity as Xavier waited to see if she would buy his explanation.

Eventually she stepped towards him and planted a kiss on his forehead. Xavier had to fight to keep from laughing at her gullibility, and also the look of disappointment and disbelief on Gabriella's face.

"I am reluctant to accept new members into the protection of the nest, as you are aware. But I will allow you this slip provided you can ensure they will be loyal to
me
." Francesca said.

"Thank you, Mistress."

Francesca stepped back from him and took his hand between hers. She gave him a gentle tug towards the private bedchamber she shared with Gabriella.

As she pulled him through the door she turned back.

"Come, Gabriella," she said. "You will join us."

Lazily the salacious little whore stood up to join them.

When Francesca turned away a black cloud crossed her face. It was gone in an instant but Xavier filed it away in his memory. Dissension between these two could be turned to his advantage when the time was ripe for him to make his play for power.

Chapter Eleven

The raven haired vampire in the slender red dress buried her ivory fangs deep into his sister Katherine's neck. She looked back up at him blood dripping from her mouth down her chin. With a wink and a languid taste of her lips she went back to feeding. Fulton felt the weight of his other sister, Kelly, in his arms. He could smell her blood pumping through her body. It would taste so good.

They were standing in his sisters' bedroom. It was empty save for the babies’ cots and the bodies of his father and mother. No blood leaked from their corpses but their heads hung at impossible angles, necks broken by the alluring female vampire.

Fulton stood for a long moment just watching the other as she fed. Lapping up his sister's precious blood.

In the end he could take it no longer.

He snarled and used his fangs to tear chunks of flesh from Kelly's throat to free her blood vessels. She remained silent throughout the attack.

He gulped her blood down like there was no tomorrow.

The female vampire, Francesca Fulton remembered her calling herself, took a break form feasting on his other sister.

"Slow down," she instructed him. "Savour it. Family blood is always the sweetest."

He did as she said and let the liquid slip leisurely down. He smiled with pleasure.

"See," Francesca smiled and Fulton's pleasure increased at being able to please her.

She slinked up to him and used her hand under his chin to guide his mouth to hers. They kissed and the blood of their respective kills mingled together and leaked out at the edges of their mouths.

They finished draining the twin babies and cast the lifeless husks on top of the bodies of their parents.

As soon as the shells touched down the vampires turned on each other. With total abandon they made love in full view of the dead eyes of Fulton's family.

Fulton toured the city streets on the back of his motorcycle. Clad in black leather trousers and a black leather
jacket he blended into the darkness. He wore a black helmet as well, not because of the risk of injury if he fell off -as a vampire that was not a problem- he wore it to avoid hassles with the human police.

Fulton drove around in a random pattern but all his turns took him in the same direction. Towards the edge of the city. His memory was triggered as he reached the edge of the city. If he carried on along that road and made a couple of turns he would be back where he grew up.
