“Where's
my money?” asked Laura.

“It's
over there. The men are guarding it for you.”

“Have
them bring it over here and place it on the table. I need to see it
before we can proceed, ladies,” insisted Laura.

“No,
I think I'll keep both the guests and the payment, dear. I don't
appreciate being held up for more money. You're outgunned, sweetie.
If you want to walk out of here alive, put down your weapon, go sit
in the chair and watch.”

“Neither
of you is even armed, Manuela. Pay me now or I'm taking them out of
here and selling them to someone else.”

“Who
else would want them?” she asked. Her two armed guards drew
their guns and moved closer, but didn't have the correct angle for a
good shot.

“One
of your guys may shoot me, but I guarantee you'll be dead before I
hit the floor, Manuela.”

“Take
her out now!” Manuela shouted into her comm-device.

Two shots
could be heard, along with the sound of shattering windows. Manuela
and Bernice were stunned to see that Laura was still standing and
looked over to see both guards falling dead.

The two
prisoners broke free of their fake bindings and drew their weapons.

“Uh
oh,” said Laura sarcastically. “Do the two naughty
bitches have a wee wittle problem?”

Manuela and
Bernice were agape with stunned disbelief at the rapid power-shift
and tried to make a run for it. Laura and Renée knocked them
down, and a five-way altercation ensued. The older women put up a
good fight, but as the girls held them down, Danny knocked them out.
When they awoke, Bernice was tightly secured in the chair, Manuela
was shackled nude to the large tabletop, Renée held the cattle
prod in one hand and the scalpel in her other, and Laura and Danny
were standing off to the side observing. Laura's partners stood guard
outside.

“Manuela,
why did you kill and torture my Chris?” she asked.

“Let
me out of here, you little shit!” She struggled in vain to get
free.

“Tsk,
tsk, tsk. That's no way to be talking to me when we're about to
become so intimate.” Renée said, as she gently slid the
electrified prod along Manuela's bare thigh. She gave her a test zap
near the top of her leg.

“Get
that thing away from me!” Manuela shouted as her body twitched
in response.

“Oh,
this is fun! Do you want me to turn it down a notch before
penetration, dear? Or maybe you prefer up a notch or two?”

“I
have money, Renée, a lot of money. You can have it if you let
me go.”

“Hmmm,
well, how much money do you think you're worth, Manuela?”

“Release
me and we'll talk, honey.”

“Honey?
See, you're getting the idea of talking nice to me. You're such a
quick learner,” she said as she zapped her again. “It's
not about money, dear. Today is all about Renée's revenge!”

Laura and
Danny went outside and joined her partners, leaving their friend to
more freely enjoy her pleasures uninhibited. It was sunrise when
Renée finally came out, too.

“How
did it go, honey?” Danny asked.

“It
was all good, Danny. I didn't see the need to use up the entire week.
I'm finished, but their dental records will be needed for
identification. Don't go inside; it's gruesome. I don't want anyone
to have to ever see that side of me again. I'm feeling really good
though, and ready to move on with my life, perhaps doing something
different.”

“Have
you got enough energy left for that celebration we discussed?”
Laura asked with a gentle caress. “A lady always reciprocates.”

“Oh
yes! I've never done a three-way before. It's always been one of my
fantasies,” said Renée. “I'm ready to get started
right here, right now!”

“Well,
let me send the guys home first, and I would enjoy it more with some
privacy,” Laura said. “I'm right there with ya on the
fantasy thing. It will be my first ménage à trois,
too.”

“That
makes it unanimous,” Danny announced.

After a few
days of non-stop carnal pleasures, Laura determined it would be best
to return home to her husband and hometown friends. Renée and
Danny were restless and going through Uncle Chip's collection file
again when they found another case that they were in the mood to
pursue. The man's condo was on the twentieth floor of a hi-rise.

As they
entered the building lobby unnoticed, both donned their hoods and
rode up in the elevator. She used her toolkit to gain entry and the
couple quietly slipped inside. Both were surprised to find the man in
what appeared to be his teenage daughter's bedroom. The pair were
lying together naked and she looked very distraught.

“Ahem,”
said Danny as he switched on the bedroom light.

“What's
going on here?” asked Renée.

“Who
are you? What do you want?” asked the startled fellow.

“We're
here to collect your debt.”

“Get
out!” he ordered. “I don't keep any money here.”

“Uh,
sir, we're the ones with the guns,” Renée politely
pointed out. “Now answer the question, shithead!”

Both
remained silent, so she walked around to the girl's side of the bed,
pulled off the covers, and repeated the inquiry, this time directly
to her.

“He's
my stepfather. Whenever my mom's out of town, he comes in here and
makes me do things. He threatens to hurt her if I ever tell.”

Incensed,
Renée asked “How long has this been going on, dear?”

“Three
years, and each year he gets more perverted.”

“Where
does he keep his money?”

“Over
there in the wall safe behind his portrait.”

After
experimenting with a few combinations, they discovered that his birth
date provided the magic numbers.

“Let's
go out on the balcony and admire the view,” Renée
requested. The naked pair led the way and Renée positioned a
chair next to the railing. She looked over the edge and said, “Wow,
it's a long way down! Heights like this scare me. I'm always afraid
I'm going to fall off. Get up on the chair, mister.” He
objected, but she proved to be very persuasive. It was a tall chair
and a short railing, and his legs wobbled as he stood up.

“Honey,
do you love your stepfather?”

“I
hate him!”

“I
grew up in a situation just like yours, sweetie. Come over here a
moment and place both your hands on his ass one more time. I think
you'll find it more agreeable this time.”

She and
Danny stepped back and admired the scene. “What do you think,
partner?” she asked.

“It
works for me, but won't you-know-who possibly object?”

“He
can be flexible.”

“Miss,
I think you have an important decision to make,” Danny said.

“You
guys were right. It's does feel good having my hands on his ass this
time. That's a first. I love the sense of power!!”

“Honey,
we're going to leave now. We have our money, so you'll not see us
again. The security cameras probably recorded us breaking in, so if
he happens to fall forward off the chair, you could blame it on your
intruders. Have a good night, miss.”

When Danny
and Renée left the building, he said, “I'm sorry about
your unhappy childhood. Do you think you'd ever want to have children
of your own?”

“Oh
yes, I want to have your babies, Danny! I just don't want to raise
them here.”

“I
have a cabin in the Colorado mountains. Let's go live there and have
a few kids.”

“Yes!
Yes!” she responded enthusiastically.

As they
kissed, both wondered if they would soon hear the scream of a man
plunging twenty stories.

Chapter 2

Colorado

Cabin

Ohhhh,
this can't be good
, she thought to herself.

It was as
if she were awakening from a deep sleep, not yet able to open her
eyes. A gentle breeze across her face, accompanied by the sound of
'whup, whup, whup' coming from overhead, were her clues that she had
a problem. It was reminiscent of an old TV series that started out
with the same sounds, as wartime helicopters approached an emergency
medical center.

“Have
I been in an accident?” she mumbled.

“Yes,
dear,” came the response from a matronly-sounding voice. “You
were found at the scene of an explosion.”

“Oh
my God! Was anyone else injured?”

“No,
honey, only you. Can you tell me your name?” inquired the
attendant.

“Of
course I can, it's....it's um....I can't think of it at the moment,
ma'am.”

“We'll
need the name of someone in your family. Who would you like for us to
contact, miss?”

“I
have a sister,” the young woman muttered. “She lives out
of town, though.”

“Oh
good, and what's
her
name?”

“It's...oh
God, I can't remember that either. Ohhhh, my back is killing me, and
my head is pounding.”

“We're
almost there, sweetheart.”

Soon she
felt the chopper descend, and her eyes finally began to open.
Emergency personnel came running toward them with a gurney and began
to shift her position to move her onto it.

“Ohhhh,
my back, my back, please take it easy on my back, guys!”

A few
moments later she was in the ER.

“Hello,
darling, I'm Doctor Sanchez,” an overweight, Hispanic woman
informed her. “We're going to be cutting off your clothes and
running some tests to determine what needs to be done first. It
appears you may have a concussion and a broken wrist. You have no
I.D. Can you tell me your name?”

“No,
my mind is messed up,” she whined.

“That's
okay, we're used to that here. You're our eleventh patient today, so
we're going to call you Miss November until you can remember. You
don't mind being named after a month do you?”

“I
feel like a centerfold,” she said, attempting some humor in her
time of suffering.

A few hours
later she was moved to an upstairs room shared by another patient and
given some sedatives.

“My
name is Claudette and I'll be one of your nurses here in the trauma
ward, Miss November. If you feel you need anything for your pain,
just push the button at the side of your bed and I'll be right in.”

It was a
struggle getting through the next several days as more x-rays were
taken, the broken wrist was patched up, and Claudette made repeated
trips bringing needed pain meds.

“Your
roommate just checked out. We can move you to the bed over by the
window if you'd like,” said the orderly. “You can have a
better view of the mountains.”

“That
would be nice. That way I can watch the landing helicopters as they
bring in more patients.”

“There's
a handsome young man who's waiting to see you, miss.”

“There
is? Does he know who I am? Who is he?”

“He
says he's with the Denver police and has a few questions for you.”

As she
looked over at the doorway, a good looking fellow about six feet tall
with a crew-cut and a husky build entered the room.

“Hello,
miss. I'm Detective Bradley. You can call me Brad if you like. I'd
like to ask you a few questions if you're feeling up to it.”

She was
immediately smitten and began fantasizing him crawling into the bed
with her to do his interrogation. She also felt inexplicably
threatened by him.

“I'm
afraid I can't be of much help, officer. I have amnesia.”

“Maybe
I can help you out a little. We recovered the charred remnants of a
large envelope at the scene.” He held it up and turned it
upside down. A bundle of one hundred dollar bills slid out into his
hand. “This is addressed to a Jen Jennings. The jewelry you
wore when you arrived here has the initials 'JJ' on it.”

“Oh,
so my name must be Jen and that must be my money?” she asked,
holding out her hand.

Ignoring
her receptive grasp for the cash, he continued, “This envelope
is too large to hold just this. There was either a lot more money,
perhaps some instructions or maybe some other things.” He
continued to probe with more questions and innuendos, and when that
got him nowhere he left with a promise to return.

A while
later another visitor arrived. It was a uniformed woman police
officer, tall and slender, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She
appeared to be around age fifty, and her steely-eyed glare made it
clear she was all business and a willful woman used to getting her
way.

“I'm
Officer Knight with Metro PD and I'd like to ask you a few questions,
ma'am,” she said with a slight stutter.

“I
just told the other officer all that I know.”

“What
other officer might that be, Missy? I'm the only one assigned to this
case.”

“He
said his name was Detective Bradley. He was most handsome. Maybe the
nurses that met him can tell you more. What's going on anyway? All I
know is that there was an explosion and that I was found unconscious
at the scene with a mysterious envelope.”

Officer
Knight took down what few details she could get, picked up one of
Jen's empty soda cans, and then left without sharing any of her
limited information. As she moved from the bedside and toward the
door, her demeanor shifted from business to pleasure, and she
mischievously pinched the young orderly on his butt.

“Did
you see that?!” exclaimed another woman as she entered the
room. “She must be one of those cougars that you hear about!”

“Cougars?”
Jen asked.

“Yeah,
one of those older women after younger guys.”

“Who
are you?” asked the popular patient.

“I'm
Miss Billings from the admin office. We need to get your insurance
information, Miss November.”

“You
can call me Jennings now it seems, and I have no clue as to any
medical coverage.”

“Well,
we'll need to figure it out soon or else we can't keep you here much
longer.”
