Just
try to be here when I return this evening.” She pushed his arm
hard and he nearly fell to the right, not expecting it. The man
laughed again and kissed her bare shoulder.

That's
it?” He nodded. Morgan knew why she was there. He wanted a fuck
buddy. Someone he could visit, fuck, then leave. No emotions and no
strings. You couldn't do that with a regular woman, eventually, one
of them would have feelings. She hoped, one day, Vaughn would have
feelings for a woman and know what love was like, but for that week,
she and the man were perfect for each other.

I'll
be gone now.” He stood and brushed phantom crumbs from his
pants that Morgan didn't get on him. She thought to tell him that he,
in fact, was not gone, but kept her mouth shut and nodded. She
looked him over again, with his clothes on, and he reminded her of
Clay. Vaughn wore a tailored black suit, stark white button down,
and a silk royal blue tie, exactly what Mister Shaw would have looked
great in. Yes, Vaughn was gorgeous, and he knew it, and even that
quality was pulled off perfectly.

What
time will you be back?”

Just...be
here after dark.” He walked through the front door without
another word.

This...is....awesome.”
The whole day, possibly even the whole week to herself. All she had
to do was be there in the morning and night, at least, the pattern
she was beginning to notice. She finished off her muffins and jumped
in the shower. Her plans of going out and sightseeing were put on
hold though because as she was about to call Haghen to ask if he
wanted to get lunch, the skies opened up with a ferocious storm.

Scary
movies and wine, it is.”

*****

Two
days of torrential downpours later, Morgan was seated across from her
favorite cab driver, having lunch on the upper level of a three story
restaurant. The two of them spent the first part of their lunch
people watching from their window view of the street below, then
Morgan began to ask more about her new friend's life.

So,
do you have children?” The older man's eyes lit up instantly,
and he nodded as he wiped his mouth quickly.

I
do. A daughter. She moved,” his eyes left Morgan's, and his
gaze dropped to the table, “to America. Been gone almost a
year now.” Morgan watched as he cleared his throat, and didn't
ask another word about it.

He
was alone. His wife had passed, and Morgan could tell that Haghen
had loved her very much. His daughter was gone, and the man spent
his days and nights working, taking locals and tourists to all the
places that he never went, nor enjoyed. She looked out to the street
below, and watched families pass by, and she suddenly hated that he
had to see that each and every day.

What
would you do if you didn't drive a cab? Where would you go?”
The question caught them both off guard, and Morgan's face began to
heat as she instantly regretted asking such a personal and blunt
question. Haghen, however, was a compete gentleman and he answered
quickly to let her off the hook.

Ah,
I don't really know. This is what I've done for more than thirty
years.” He looked at his large hands and thought about it for
a few seconds, then smiled as he met her gaze again. “I
believe, if given the chance, I'd travel. Not too sure where I'd go,
but it would nice to see something different for a change.”
His smile returned, and she wondered what scene in his mind had
brought it on. Was it a trip he'd taken with wife years ago? His
family, when he was young? Or had he driven through the city so
much that he just wished to allow someone to drive him around, so
that he could see the world from a different view. She didn't know,
but it was his secret, and it was beautiful to see it from the
outside.

Morgan
reached across the table and put her hand on his. “I'm sure
you'll get that chance, Haghen, and when you do, I hope you enjoy the
hell out of it.” His laugh was loud, and he threw his head
back at the bold girl that had made him laugh at least a dozen times
since they'd met. It was nice, he thought, to actually be seen by
someone for a change.

It
may not ever happen, but thinking about it can be just as pleasant.”
She nodded, knowing that dreams are the biggest part to everyone's
life, but she still wanted more than dreams for the sweet man.

One
more question... what the hell were in those pills that you gave me?”
They both laughed loudly, and their conversation continued as if
they were old friends who were catching up after a long absence. She
truly had made another great friend.

Chapter
Ten

Pull
my zipper down.” Vaughn inched forward in the booth, but kept
his lower body hidden underneath the long red tablecloth. Morgan
smiled at the man's profile, then looked around the dimly lit
restaurant. There were only a few other tables of diners in the
whole place, and they probably wouldn't even notice if Morgan had
stripped down to nothing and climbed on top of the table. Yes, she
knew, he had done this before.

Morgan
reached to his front with her right hand, and slowly pulled the metal
down, leaving his belt and button intact. She started to pull away
when their server returned with more bread, but he groaned quietly,
and Morgan knew that she was to keep her hand where it was.

Put
your hand in.” The server had just walked away when he spoke
again, and Morgan's fingers moved through the opening. “All
the way in.” She sighed softly, loving the sound of his voice,
and gently squeezed her fingers underneath his shorts. “Touch
me, Morgan.” He turned and looked at her, his eyes were
already glazed over in passion that she alone would release.

She
gripped her small hand around him, feeling him jerk in response, and
dropped her head to rest her cheek on his shoulder. His scent, the
same delicious aroma that she'd enjoyed all week, drove her just as
mad as her hand was doing to him. “Hmmm...,”

Don't...
fucking... speak.” She pumped her hand slowly, but with a
tight grip that he couldn't control. “Easy. Easy, Morgan.”
Her smiled spread across his shoulder, and he could feel it, even
through the thick fabric of his jacket. “Easy.” He
spoke through gritted teeth, and turned his head slightly to look
down at her face. She smiled again in return, and gripped him even
more tightly. “Morgan..”

You'll
come when I want you to.” He nearly growled, a soft and deep
sound that came from his chest brought a flood of heat through
Morgan's body, and her hand began to move more quickly.

Slow.Down.”
She shook her head slightly, and kept the rhythmic pace that he
couldn't fight. Morgan knew that he could stop her at any time, he
had grabbed her hand, her ankle, her entire body, just to keep her
from doing something that he didn't want her to do. No, he really
didn't want her to slow down, and that made her final decision to
squeeze harder, and to keep her hand close to his large head, where
she would send him over the edge even more quickly.

Come
for me, Vaughn.” Her voice held a husky tone, one that brought
another moan through his chest. His entire body tightened, and he
leaned his cheek against the top of her head. His hands gripped the
side of the table. A strangled gasp of air was released. He jerked
again in her hand, violently pulsing with his lost control, and she
moaned softly against his shoulder. “Good boy.” Morgan
gave him a few more slow, tortuous tugs, just as he had teased her
all week.

Enough.”
Finally, his hand went to her wrist and he pulled her away from his
body, then laid his head back against the booth as he tried to relax
his breathing.

It's
nice to actually be out with you,” Morgan picked up a piece of
bread and pulled off little pieces, not eating any of them. It had
only taken until Thursday evening to finally get him to take her out
of the room, but it was still nice. She'd spent most of the week
doing things on her own, even eating at the very restaurant they were
sitting in.
Guess he doesn't have to play the game anymore. I'm
gone tomorrow.
She picked off another piece of bread and finally
ate it.

It
is nice.” Morgan watched him sit back up and look around the
restaurant, then look down to the table. His thumbs danced with one
another as he appeared to be wrapped up in some kind of thoughts. She
could tell there was more to the man than his need to control and
fuck. She knew better, and she could tell, he'd been hurt before. How
long had it been since he'd taken a woman out? Morgan knew she'd
never find out, but again, she hoped that he found love one day.

Are
you going to tell me about yourself now?” Morgan propped her
head on her hand and crossed one ankle over the other.

No.”
Wishful thinking.
He saw the look on her face and a slow smile
spread across his lips. “You enjoyed getting fucked?”

Morgan
sat back up, dropping her hand to the table. “Must you be so
blunt?”

Answer
me.”

She
felt her cheeks heat and was thankful for the dim lighting. “Yes,
of course.”

So,
would that have changed if you knew where I worked or live?”

Morgan
thought about it and shook her head slowly. “No, I guess not.”
She stared at her hands for a moment, then met his eyes again. “Just
tell me one thing about you. Anything. Do you have a favorite food? A
collection of something? A favorite place?” She was hoping to
make him smile, and he did.

I
have a large snake named, Anki.” He laughed quietly and took a
big bite of bread, then leaned back once more, waiting for the
expression to flow over Morgan's face. She was pleased with his
answer.

That's
good! That's the most you've told me all week!”

That's
all you need to know, Darling.”

*****

That
night, Morgan was sitting alone in her room for the last time. Vaughn
made it clear he wouldn't be returning in the morning, so after
dinner, he took her for a walk along the water to say goodbye and the
two actually talked for nearly three hours. He was true to his word,
in that he wasn't giving her anymore information about himself, but
he did talk to her about Holland, where she'd traveled and her
bracelet. She made fun of him for being so secretive and claimed he
was a Welsh Spy and he made fun of her for taking so many pictures,
even one of a leaf.

She
wished their whole week together would have been like that night, but
it was a memory she'd always have and love.

And
Julianne, you crazy woman, you knew!” Morgan giggled and
grabbed her phone off the dresser, then ran over to the bed and did
her cannonball jump. It was nearly eleven at night and Morgan didn't
have her itinerary yet, so she had to call her boss anyway and make
sure she didn't have some bullshit flight of four AM. “Please,
please, please...” She pressed the call button, then rolled to
her stomach while she waited.

Hello,
Morgan! How are you, beautiful?”

Felix!
Hi! Uh...how are you?” The first question that went through
Morgan's mind had been to ask if he were with Julianne or if she were
with him, but it wasn't her business.

I'm
fantastic, just fantastic!” Felix yelled into the phone and
Morgan pulled it away from her ear for just a moment while he got
himself under control. In a lower voice, he spoke, “and I have
you to thank, Miss Holland.”

Felix,
shh! Are you drunk?”

Perhaps,
I am,” he admitted.

Shit,”
Morgan giggled with her curse and put her hand to her forehead. “Is
Julianne drunk too?”

Perhaps,
she is.” Morgan sighed.
That's why I haven't received my
flight plans.
She asked if he could put her on the phone and he
did.

Hello,
dear,” Julianne took over, sounding incredibly...sober.
