God, he was pushy, bossy, and
so
controlling, but then again, he was totally gorgeous, loving, and everything she had always wanted in a man.
She smiled at her analogy of what she wanted. Well, she could either worry about what other people might think, or she could get on with living her life, knowing that she was with a man who cherished her, and took care of her like no other man ever could. Not to mention the heights of sexual ecstasy that she had risen to since Guy had entered her life.
As far as her business was concerned, there was absolutely no reason why she couldn’t try again, over here in England. After all, it hadn’t exactly been a roaring success so far back in the States. And now she had the support of Guy behind her.
She grinned. Behind her, on top of her, underneath her, and any other way he demanded. Jesus, she’d only been away from him for a short time, and now she was
dying
to get back to his warm, safe body…
Gina never saw the open gate by the side of the narrow lane, so when a large horse cantered across the road right in front her, she could do nothing but swerve to avoid hitting it.
The Jaguar went straight into a ditch, the front end hitting the bottom of the gatepost with a horrific bang. Then silence.

Forty minutes later, Guy’s cell rang. Seeing Andy’s number, he answered it, expecting it to be Gina saying she was going to be heading back at any moment.
However, it was Andy.
“Guy, it’s Gina.”
Guy went cold instantly just hearing Andy’s tone. “Tell me,” he said, his voice strained.
Within two minutes, he was on the way to the hospital; fuck the courier.
Apparently, a local farmer had found the car and called for help. He’d recognized Gina from the inn, and after the ambulance and police arrived, he’d gone there himself and told Andy what had happened.
Guy pulled his truck into a parking space and sprinted into the emergency department.
After almost losing his temper twice when he had had to explain to two different people who he was and why he was there, he was finally allowed back to the treatment area and a nurse took him straight to Gina’s room.
Gina looked way too pale lying there, and just for a second, he nearly let his emotions get the better of him.
A nurse bustled in, checking the drip in her hand, and then took the clipboard from the bed to jot something down. She looked at him standing by the bed in silence and patted his hand.
“She’s a bit battered and bruised, and she has a concussion and two cracked ribs, but don’t worry, she’ll recover just fine. We’ve given her something for the pain and to help her rest, so she’ll probably be a bit groggy for a while.”
He nodded his thanks and then sat down by the side of the bed. Very gently, he took her hand and just sat there for what seemed like an age, watching the nurses come in every ten minutes or so to check her.
After about an hour, he waited until the latest nurse had left and then moved to the edge of the bed, still holding her hand.
“I heard you tell me you loved me, sweetheart,” he said, “and I let all the shit from the past get in the way of saying it back. I thought I’d dealt with all that, but apparently, I needed to get a phone call saying you’d been hurt to light a fire up my ass.”
He paused. “I love you, Gina.”
When he felt her fingers lightly squeeze his own, he got up and crouched down right by her head.
She opened her eyes just a few seconds later, and her voice was husky when she spoke, “Better late than never, Sir.” She gave him a small smile and then let her eyes close again.
Guy grinned from ear to ear. When she was completely healed, he was going to bend her over and spank that gorgeous ass ‘til it was nice and pink, for that one.

The next two days were non-stop for Guy. He fielded several calls a day from Gina’s mother, and then there was Maggie who had actually threatened to come over to make sure she approved of her friend’s choice of Dom.
Every spare minute was spent at the hospital where David, Guy’s father, Becky and Andy, and Cathy and Frank were regular visitors, all bringing her little presents to cheer her up and make her hospital stay more bearable.
David, especially, had helped her feel so much better. He’d entered her hospital room behind a huge bouquet of flowers, and after putting them on the window sill, had gently kissed his new sister affectionately.
“I know I said that we should spend some more time together, but really, I had more of a nice meal, or a get-together with friends in mind.”
“I know,” she answered with a grin. “I guess I’ll do anything to make sure I don’t lose touch with my new little brother.”
He’d stayed until one of the nurses had shooed him out, so Gina could get some proper rest.
Everybody had been so kind. But all she really wanted was for her Dom to take her back to his home, put her in his bed, and hold her for a really long time.
She spoke at length to her mother, thanks to the phone over her bed that was able to receive international calls, and was relieved when her mom’s reaction to the news that she would be staying longer was nothing but positive, as long as she made regular trips back to the States, with her new man, of course.
She even gave Mary a call, hoping that the sweet lady from the plane would remember her, but she needn’t have worried.
Mary listened in shock as Gina told her what had happened, and by the end of the call, the two of them had reaffirmed their promise to keep in touch, Mary even inviting Gina and Guy to one of the huge annual fairs held up there in Nottingham, before Christmas.
Eventually, the hospital gave her the all clear, and four days after the accident, she stood, a little shakily, while Guy helped her to dress.
Having settled her on a seat in the main entrance, Guy pulled right up to the doors in his old truck, as his car was in the shop, getting repaired. He lifted her gently into the passenger seat, and strapped her in.
The journey back to his house didn’t take long, and she walked slowly to the door with Guy’s arm around her. He put the key in the lock, and then turned to her, taking his arm from her waist.
“I’ve decided that you can only move in with me on one condition,” he said, making sure his face looked serious.
Gina looked up at Guy, puzzled.
He took something out of his pocket and she gasped. It was a narrow, antique looking collar, made of gold, with small rubies and diamonds interspersed along its length.
“Guy, it’s so beautiful.” She ran a finger from one end to the other, imagining the feel of it around her neck.
“Once I put this on, you belong to me, little one,” he stated, lifting her chin and catching her eyes with his own.
“Yes, please,” she answered, and he grinned at his submissive, wondering if her reaction to his next surprise would be quite as enthusiastic.
He secured the collar around her neck and then took her mouth with his own, holding her carefully against him, making her feel protected and safe.
When he took out a thin, wide box from his other pocket, she frowned, wondering what else he could have possibly bought her.
He nodded to her to open it.
She took off the lid and removed the tissue paper.
There, nestled in the box, was a matching black and red leash with a clip on one end.
Guy took one look at her face, and roared with laughter. “That was just the look I was hoping for,” he said, removing the leash and putting it safely in his jeans pocket.
She opened her mouth to give him a snarky reply, but promptly snapped it shut. She would save her sass for when she was feeling better and could actually enjoy the spanking.
“Was there anything you wanted to say, sub?” he asked with a grin.
Gina’s hand went unconsciously to her bottom. “No, Sir,” she replied through gritted teeth, although a smile lurked underneath.
“Then welcome home, sweetheart,” he said, and after carefully picking her up in his arms, he took her into his house and kicked the door shut behind him.
