A Little Harmless Obsession
With more control than he actually felt, he slowly entered her, sighing over the tight feel of her pussy as it clasped down on his cock. Damn, she’d been snug before, but now he knew it was a struggle for her to take him. She pushed back against him, trying to rush him.
“No, May.”
She stilled and he could hear her breathing coming out in harsh, angry huffs. It took some doing, but he worked his way into her completely. He was surrounded by her warmth, felt the occasional tug of her muscles, and he wanted nothing but to come right then. But he needed her pleasure first.
He started to slowly build her up, spanking her ass with each easy stroke. He knew her flesh was still sensitive and the plug in her ass added another level of pleasure/pain for her.
He stilled when he felt her shaking, felt her so close to coming.
“You don’t come unless I tell you.”
She groaned, and he slapped her ass in retaliation. Her quick intake of breath was filled with so much arousal that he shivered. Damn, there was never going to be another sub for him like May.
He dug his fingers into her skin as he started to move in earnest. The sound of her harsh breathing, the slapping of flesh against flesh, heightened his own arousal, pushed him closer to the edge. He slipped his fingers to her clit, brushed over it lightly. Not hard enough to make her come, but enough to drive her out of her mind. Soon though, the game of teasing her, of keeping her at the edge wasn’t enough. He wanted to feel those muscles tighten on his cock, hear her moan in pleasure.
“Now, May.”
She whimpered, pushing back against him, the movement telling him of her frustration. He continued thrusting, but her frustrated growl told him she was unable to break free. He twisted the anal plug, throwing her into her orgasm. Her body convulsed with it, pulling him deeper into her core. His balls drew up and he could no longer hold back. His own movements became uncontrolled as he pumped into her, loving the tight feel of her cunt, the way her muscles clung to him each time he pulled out. One last thrust and he came, his orgasm crashing through him, washing over him.
They both collapsed on the bed. He rolled to his side and pulled her up against him.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“Hmmm, wonderful.”
The easy pleasure he heard in her voice warmed him. He brushed her hair away from her face and placed a soft kiss on her temple. Soon, he heard her breathing even. Without another thought, he followed her into a dreamless sleep.
Sometime later, May woke, but kept her eyes closed. Her muscles were tired but completely loose.
She opened her eyes then shut them. A contented smile curved her lips as she snuggled beneath the comforter. She was in Evan’s room and not only that, she had agreed to become his sub. Nothing in her life

would ever be able to come close to what she’d experienced. Glancing around the room, she looked for her clothes.
“I put them up.”
She looked over to the doorway to find Evan standing there, his shoulder leaning against the doorjamb. Every nerve in her body tingled and her heart jumped up into her throat. He wore nothing but a pair of jeans, unbuttoned. Why did it seem that every drop of moisture in her mouth had evaporated? Oh, right. There was six foot plus of stud standing in the doorway.
She licked her lips and then froze when his gaze narrowed in on her mouth. “W-what did you say?” It seemed to take him a minute, but he shook himself then raised his gaze to hers again. “I put your clothes up.”
May frowned. “Where? I need to get dressed.”
“I didn’t give you permission.”
“Excuse me?”
“I think you heard me. No clothes.”
She opened her mouth, but he shook his head.
“I told you. I’m in charge. But I will allow you to wear one of my shirts, nothing else. I made lunch.” Good lord, he didn’t expect her to go eat lunch without a pair of panties, did he? He approached the bed and held out his hand.
“Now, May.”
His voice whipped out in command and her body responded. Heat flared low in her tummy as her nipples tightened. Hesitantly, she laid her hand in his. He helped her up out of bed and to her feet.
“Good girl.”
He slipped his hand from hers and skimmed it down her spine to her rear end. He traced a line between her cheeks and she instantly tensed. He chuckled, a sound filled with such unadulterated masculine satisfaction she should have been pissed. Unfortunately, her body didn’t give a damn. Her pussy clenched, new moisture coating her lips.
“Don’t tell me you didn’t like it, because you definitely did.” The heat in his voice, the way it deepened as he talked to her told he had liked it too. That it had excited him. She looked up at him as her face burned. She wasn’t ashamed, but she hadn’t expected to be so turned on by it. But she had been, and she couldn’t wait to try it for real.
She licked her bottom lip and he groaned. Evan swooped in for a quick, hard kiss. By the time he pulled away, he was breathing heavily. He rested his forehead against hers.
“Okay, we have to stop or we won’t make it to the table to eat.” A spark of heat flared from her tummy and coursed through her. Just the idea that she could cause him this amount of discomfort gave her pleasure. He moved away from her, opened one of his drawers and 104

pulled out a T-shirt emblazoned with Chambers Contracting across the front. With fast hands, he had it over her head and then on her body. While it covered all her important parts, she still felt exposed with no panties on.
She glanced around, hoping to find them, but he caught her chin between his fingers. “No. I say no panties at the table. That is the way you will eat. Of course, if you refuse, you’ll be eating naked.” She hesitated, thinking of just how sexy it would be to sit in front of Evan naked. Apparently, she hesitated long enough to make him think she was going to argue with him. He reached for her and placed his hands on her shoulders.
“Okay.”
He smiled, and damn if the cocky grin didn’t make her want to defy him. While she knew that he would never force her to do something she truly didn’t want to, it was hard to take his cockiness. But after the challenges of the day, she knew she would need some kind of break. If it meant she sat on her tender rear during lunch, she would do it.
“Come on.” He placed a hand on the small of her back. The gentlemanly gesture caught her unawares.
It wasn’t that she thought Evan wasn’t a gentleman, but he had never touched her in that way before. He had always seemed to avoid touching her. While it spoke of their change in relationship, she had to remind herself it wasn’t as if they were boyfriend and girlfriend. They were lovers, and only temporarily.
He led her out to a small dining area in his kitchen. The round, dark cherry table was set with sandwiches and potato salad. He hadn’t asked what she wanted, he had just made it. She opened her mouth, but he slipped his hand down to her ass and squeezed.
“I know what you like.”
She turned and studied him for a long moment. He was again challenging her and she didn’t understand why. Oh, yeah, she knew he was establishing control, but if the things she did in the bedroom didn’t prove his control over her she wasn’t sure what would.
He guided her to her chair and pulled it out for her. Once she was seated, he settled in the chair next to her. She glanced around the kitchen, her love of cooking taking over the moment. God, it figured he would have a beautiful kitchen. Dark wood cabinets, two ovens, a gas stovetop and subzero fridge were just a small part of the beauty.
“I didn’t know you liked to cook.”
He smiled, just a small curving of the lips and her heart started to beat faster. She had it bad.
“I do like to cook, but it is a rather new skill. Chris taught me a lot of what I know.”
“I just thought, you’re in Dupree’s a lot for dinner…”
“Not for the food.”
For a moment, she just watched him eat his potato salad. He wasn’t a drinker, not a heavy one, so it wasn’t the bar.

He sat back and sighed. “You’re the reason I go there.”
“Me?”
He threw her a darkly amused look. “Yeah, you. You didn’t think I went there just because I loved to eat the same thing every night, did you?”
Her mind whirled with the knowledge that Evan had actually spent most nights at Dupree’s for her.
She couldn’t seem to wrap her mind around the idea.
“You don’t believe me? Have you ever noticed that I rarely show up on nights you aren’t working?”
“And how was I to know that you weren’t there the nights I didn’t work? I wasn’t there. Besides, you spent a lot of time there on the nights Lee worked.”
The moment the words escaped she cursed herself for revealing that. The neediness in her voice, the almost whine she heard there embarrassed her more than sitting in the kitchen with no panties on.
“May.”
She kept her concentration on her food as she picked at her potato salad.
“Maylea.”
With some effort, she raised her gaze to his. She expected pity, but instead she saw tenderness, with a hint of amusement.
“Did you ever wonder why I dated her?”
She looked away again, pretending she had an appetite. She dug into her potato salad and shoved a huge amount into her mouth. The silence stretched and she could feel him studying her, waiting for her to look at him.
With a sigh, he reached over, plucked her off the seat, and dropped her into his lap. His pants were rough against her bottom. He slipped his arms around her waist. She clasped her hands together and stared at them. It was odd, this feeling of embarrassment she now felt around him, with him. She had been shy, sometimes tongue-tied, but never embarrassed to this degree.
“I dated Lee because she was the polar opposite to you.” She lifted her head and bumped his chin. “You don’t have to lie to me.” He was quiet for a second before saying, “I’m not. I told you I was attracted to you from the start. I would have never guessed you would be a sub. And well, Lee was a distraction and I knew dating her would piss you off.”
“You did it to irritate me?”
He chuckled. “I didn’t realize it at the time. But I just had what you would call a revelation about it the other day.”
She wanted to believe, wanted to buy into the whole idea that he found her more enticing than Lee.
But she knew better, and if there was one thing May was good at was facing the truth.
“Lee is beautiful.”

“Fishing for compliments?”
“I—”
He interrupted her. “Physically, Lee is beautiful, thanks to God and some really good plastic surgeons.
But there is nothing inside of her. She has a cold heart. Hell, I’m not sure she even has a soul. You on the other hand are gorgeous inside and out. It might sound corny, but it’s true.” She opened her mouth to say something but his heartfelt tone took her by surprise. It wasn’t something she expected from him, about anything, especially women.
He reached over and slid her plate closer to his. “Now, if I know you, and I do more than you are probably comfortable with, you ate barely anything before you left this morning. Eat.” She wiggled to move off his lap, but he tightened his hold. “Nope, you sit here.” She frowned but knew better than to fight him. Her stomach growled, telling her to hurry and so she picked up the fork and took another bite.
They ate in silence. Well, mainly she ate, he watched. It was a bit disconcerting sitting there with barely any clothes on, the soft material of his jeans rubbing against her rear-end. Sensitive from his spankings, the friction was starting to drive her insane.
“Quit squirming.” The knowing amusement she heard in his voice had her scowling. He knew exactly what it was doing to her.
She tried to concentrate on eating, but it was an impossible task. He kept nibbling on the sensitive skin just behind her ear. Each little scrape of his teeth against her flesh sent a thousand little shockwaves through her body. It seemed to leech every coherent thought from her brain.
“Evan.”
“Hmm.”
She moaned when he took her earlobe between his teeth and gave it a sharp little tug.
“I can’t eat with you doing that.”
His fingers danced up her spine then back down again. “Hmm?”
“Evan.”
He sighed. “Okay.”
He relented, relaxing back against the chair. Still, he toyed with the ends of her hair.
“So, when did you decide to pursue this?” he asked.
“I told you this morning—”
He shook his head. “No. D/s.”
She picked up her fork and toyed with her potato salad again. How did she explain it? Granted, he would understand more than most people in her life, but it was still odd to say it out loud to him.
“I’m not really sure. I was having problems in bed. I couldn’t get any satisfaction.”
“You never came before?”

She rolled her eyes. “Of course I did.”
“Maylea, don’t lie to me.”
“I’ve had orgasms before you.”
He grabbed her chin and turned her head so that she had no choice but to look at him.
“Truth. And that’s an order.”
The flirtatious glint had dissolved into determination. This was not her friend, but her Dom. Even as irritation heated her blood, it intermingled with arousal. If any other man used that tone with her, she would cut him into tiny pieces. Evan did it and she could feel her pulse click up a beat and her nipples harden against the soft cotton shirt. His shirt.
“Not with a guy.”
He eyed her warily. “Truth?”
Now he was just trying to embarrass her. She slammed her fork down on the plate with a clink then threw her hands up in the air. “Why would I lie about something like that?” Evan released her chin and studied her for a moment. The house was so silent she could hear the kitchen wall clock ticking.
