“You mean to tell me that you're not finished yet?!”

Laughing, Tazneema said, “Uh-uh. I've gotten my stuff out of the way. Now I have to get gifts for you, Mama-Mama, and Lyla's parents. Come on, Taz. You said you wanted to spend the day with me.”

He smiled and said, “Yeah, I did. I stuck my foot in my mouth this time, didn't I?”

Smiling brightly, Tazneema said, “Yep, you sure did!” She turned and went back into the dressing room to change back into her clothes.

Lyla, on the other hand, stayed and smiled at Taz with a sexy look on her face. “Taz, you know I've learned a lot of things since I've been in college.”

Not really paying attention to the look in her eyes, Taz asked, “Yeah, like what?”

She stepped up to him and whispered into his ear, “Like how to please an older man.”

Taz stepped back, smiled, and said, “Won't you ever give up?”

Smiling brightly, she said, “Not until I've gotten what I want. And, Taz, I
will
get what I want, sooner or later.” She shook her small hips seductively as she, too, went back into the dressing room to change.

Taz shook his head and wondered if Tazneema was as horny as her roommate.
God, I hope she ain't!
he thought to himself as he sat back in the chair.

Chapter Five

What a relaxing weekend,
thought Sacha as she walked into the office with a bright smile on her face. She spoke to a few other attorneys as she was headed toward her office. Just as she made it to her door, Clifford, another attorney who worked for Johnson & Whitney, stopped her. “How are you doing this morning, Sacha?” he asked with a smile on his face.

Damn! I almost made it!
Sacha thought to herself as she turned around, smiled, and said, “Good morning, Cliff. I'm just fine. How about yourself?”

“I'm good. I heard the news about you becoming a partner soon. I guess congratulations are in order.”

“Not yet, but hopefully soon,” she said as she entered her office, hoping that he wouldn't follow her.

Her hopes were in vain. Clifford followed her into her office, closed her door, and said rather confidently, “Don't you think it's way past time for us to go out on a date, Sacha?”

“Was that a question or a statement, Cliff?”

Smiling, he said, “Both. I know you can tell that I'm interested. Won't you give a hardworking brother a chance?”

Sacha sat down behind her desk and once again took inventory of Clifford Nelson. He was a handsome man with a nice body. He stood a little over six foot and had very broad shoulders. He wasn't muscular like she liked her men, but he wasn't skinny either. He kept his hair cut low, nice and neat. Even though she liked nice trimmed goatees, his clean-shaven face was attractive.

Sacha had been wondering how long it was going to take for him to finally ask her out on a date. He had been eyeing her for some time now. He never made a suggestive comment toward her in the three years he'd been with the firm. Now that he had, she was unsure whether she wanted to go out with him. She thought about what Gwen had said to her repeatedly over the weekend, and decided to see if Cliff really wanted to play. God only knows how long it had been since she'd been on a date. She smiled and asked, “So, you want a chance, brother?”

“Definitely!”

“Okay, when and where?”

“You choose, because I want it to be the perfect date, and I don't want to stick my foot in my mouth and make a bad decision.”

“Taking the safe way out, huh?”

“I feel it's best to be safe than sorry . . . for now. So, it's all up to you, lovely lady.”

“What if I told you that I like for the man I date to have total control?”

Laughing, he said, “I wouldn't believe you. Don't forget, I've seen some of your work in the courtroom, Ms. Carbajal. There's no weakness in you.”

“Why, thank you! But, just because I like my dates to have control doesn't mean I'm a weak woman. I like surprises, Cliff, so if you want to take me out for a pleasurable evening, you're going to have to make all of the decisions.”

“Okay, that's fine, but don't say that I didn't give you the opportunity to choose.”

“I won't.”

“Good. Is Friday good for you?”

“Sure. What time?”

“Say about seven. That should give you enough time to unwind after work.”

“Where are we going?” she asked with a smile on her face.

With a boyish grin, he said, “You said you like surprises, right?”

“Yes.”

“So, you'll see Friday evening at seven. Have a nice day, Ms. Carbajal!” he said and turned and left her office.

Sacha started laughing as she watched Clifford's nice ass as he walked out of her office. “Not bad, Cliff . . . not bad at all!” she said aloud as she turned on her PC on her desk.

Clifford left Sacha's office feeling as if he'd just hit the lottery.
Yes! I knew my plan of patience would work. Sacha's too damn fine for me to have come at her any other way. Now all I have to do is impress the hell out of her fine-ass, and she'll be mine,
he thought to himself as he walked confidently to his office.

Friday came faster than Clifford expected it to. He was sitting down in his den, planning the finishing touches for his date with Sacha. It was ten after six, and he was already dressed and ready for the evening. He was wearing a pair of beige Dockers, a dark brown Lacoste shirt, and low-cut Polo boots.

He told Sacha to dress casually but comfortably for their evening together. He was going to take her out to dinner in Bricktown at his favorite Italian restaurant, and afterward he was going to take her to the Comedy Store for their late show. And, if everything went his way, they would have a pretty nice evening.

Even though he knew he wanted Sacha in his bed in the worst way, he knew that he would have to continue to be patient. Everything would happen in due time. First, he had to show her that he was everything she was looking for in a man: intelligent, secure financially, mature, and most of all, successful. He figured that was the type of man she was looking for. Not only was he sure of it, he was positive. She was about to be made a partner in one of Oklahoma City's highly successful law firms. She wouldn't settle for just any man, so he had to be on top of his game. He wasn't worried about losing his patience waiting for her to come around. He had plenty of women on his line to bide his time with while he was courting Sacha.

Thinking about that made him smile as he grabbed his cordless phone and made a quick call before he left to go pick her up. After a few rings the other line was answered. “Hello, Cory?” he asked.

“Hey, what's up, Cliff?”

“Nothing much. What's up with you?”

“Just relaxing a little, you know, sipping on a little Absolut Peach.”

“Yeah? What are you going to be doing later on?”

“It depends on how much of this Absolut I consume.”

Laughing, he said, “Well, if you're still able to function later, say around midnight, I'd love for you to come by and keep me company.”

“Ummm, that sounds interesting. Would I be staying the night, or will I have to make a late-night departure?”

“You know I'd never forgive myself if I let you leave me too early.”

“Whatever! You need to go on with that shit, playboy! You must have forgotten the countless times you had me get the fuck out after you've handled your business. But, since I don't have anything else planned for the night, I might as well see what kind of mood you're going to be in later on.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“Come on, Cliff. You and I both know how you are. If you're in a freaky mood, I'll get broken off real proper like. If you're just horny, I'll get the kitty licked quickly and ran up in even faster.”

Her bluntness cracked him up. He was laughing so hard that he damn near dropped the phone. After regaining his composure, he said, “Since you put it like that, I want to assure you that I'm going to be in that freak mode that you seem to desire. Is that cool with you?”

“Definitely, playboy! I'll see you later. Give me a call when you're ready for me.”

“Most definitely, sexy. Bye!”

“See ya, playboy!” Cory said and hung up.

With a bright smile on his face, Clifford got up from his sofa, grabbed his wallet and keys, and left to go pick up his date for the evening.

As Clifford pulled into Sacha's driveway, he was impressed. She lived way out on the far north side of Oklahoma City, in a neighborhood called Camelot. Most of the homes were recently built, and the price range was close to three to four hundred thousand.
Yeah, she's doing damn good as far as ends are concerned,
he thought as he got out of his CLS 500 Mercedes.

He strolled confidently to her front door and rang her doorbell. He had already been shocked by her beauty from their first meeting, but when she opened the door, it was as if he had just met her for the first time. She was absolutely gorgeous! She was dressed as he requested, casually and comfortably. She made a simple outfit look as if it was made for Tyra Banks or something. She had on a pair of low-rise Apple Bottoms jeans and a black turtleneck wool sweater. Everything fit her so snugly that it seemed as if he could see her entire body. Her sexy shape made him feel a few twitches down below. He smiled and said, “Hello, Sacha! Are you ready for a very memorable evening?”

She returned his smile and said, “Most definitely, Cliff. Let me grab my purse and I'll be right with you.”

She left him standing at her front door, which he thought was rude, but he didn't say anything as he waited for her to return. She came back within a few minutes and followed him outside to his car.

Clifford walked her to the passenger's side of the car and opened the door for her. Once she was inside of the car, he closed the door and got in on the other side.
Hmm! He definitely gets points for being a gentleman,
she thought to herself as she watched him get in the car. “So, where are we dining this evening?”

“I hope you like Italian food, because we're about to have one of the best Italian meals ever made in the City.”

“Ummm, you must have read my mind. I was hoping you liked Italian food. That's one of my favorites. You still haven't told me where we're going, though.”

“Ravio's out in Bricktown. Have you ever been there before?”

“No, I haven't, but they've received some nice reviews in the paper. I heard their veal is divine. And believe me, I love me some veal.”

Love me some veal? Damn! She sounds as if she's straight from the eastside or some shit,
he thought to himself. To her, he said, “That's great. I guess I'm starting off on the right foot, then, huh?”

Smiling, she said, “Yes, Cliff, you most definitely are.”

After dinner, Clifford took Sacha to the Comedy Store, and they both enjoyed the up-and-coming comedians.

Now that their evening was coming to a close, Clifford realized just how lucky he was. Sacha was not only sexy as hell, but the intelligence she possessed was almost astonishing to him. Earlier, during their meal, they had several discussions on everything, from the war over in Iraq to the terrible state New Orleans was in after Hurricane Katrina. Sacha seemed so compassionate toward the hurricane victims that it was touching. She made him feel guilty for not donating more than he had already. She made him feel good all over, and he couldn't wait for the day when they would become intimate. His loins were actually burning for her at that very moment.
Hold on, big boy! Hold on!
he told himself as he pulled into her driveway. “Well, here we are. I hope you enjoyed this evening as much as I did, Sacha,” Clifford said as he turned toward her.

Smiling sincerely, she said, “I really did, Cliff. The meal was excellent, and those comedians almost made me pee on myself, they were so funny! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”

“I hope that this was the first of many wonderful evenings that we'll be able to share with each other, Sacha. I really want to get to know you better.”

Smiling, she said, “I don't think that will be a problem, Cliff. Let's take it one day at a time and see where it leads us, okay?”

With a bright smile on his face, Clifford said, “That's fine with me.”

Sacha leaned over and gave him a kiss on his cheek and said, “Give me a call tomorrow if you're not too busy. Maybe we can get into something.”

“That sounds like a plan, then.”

“Okay, bye! I'll talk to you tomorrow,” she said and slid out of his car.

Clifford watched her as she walked toward her front door, and shook his head from side to side as he stared at her sexy walk
. She did those Apple Bottoms jeans proud with a body like that,
he thought as he watched her disappear into her home.

Once she closed her door, he started his car and pulled out of her driveway. As soon as he was out of Sacha's neighborhood, he grabbed his cell and quickly dialed Cory's number. When Cory answered, he said, “I'm on my way home now, babe. How long will it take for you to get there?”

“I'll be there in about twenty minutes. Is that cool, playboy?”

After a quick glance at his watch, he said, “Yeah, I guess that's cool. But hurry up, okay?”

Laughing loudly, Cory said, “Damn, playboy! Are you that horny tonight?”

“You better believe it! So hurry up, 'cause I promise you're going to love every bit of what I'm going to do to you. You wanted freaky-freaky, and that's exactly what I plan on giving you.”

“Bye, playboy! 'Cause I'm walking out of the door right now!” she said and hung up the phone.
