The plan took a while to come up with. They were all up well into the night and went to bed once they all agreed. Mary had given up her room to Michael and Rosa. Justine tried to give up her room to her parents but they refused. They had made themselves a bed on the floor and gave Ben the couch to sleep on. Tia and John were curled up on the bigger couch and her parents had taken their room. Mary had slept on the cot in the safe room.
Mateo, who was kind of forgotten about with all the excitement slept out in the workshop. Charles was slumped in a chair, thankfully it reclined too. Vivi and Charles made a bed on the dining room floor and the half-bloods went to the workshop with Mateo.

As the sun came into the windows Ben woke up and slipped outside to the porch. Justine woke too and found him out there. To her surprise Ben jumped into her lap and hugged her tight.

“I am so glad you are safe. Mom and Dad talk about you all the time and I am just so happy we found you.” Ben looked into her eyes and smiled “Your eyes are the same as mine.”

“Little man, I am very happy you found me too. I thought they were dead and then they show up and I get a little added bonus, I g
et a little brother.” Ben smiled again and their parents joined them.

“He couldn’t wait to meet you.” Bradley said

“Yes he would ask us to tell the story of you every night. He wanted to rescue you.” Monica said smiling down at her children.

“Come we need to eat and get ready for our day.”

Rosa and Monica were in the kitchen cooking another huge breakfast. Mary joined them soon after and they were all very busy. Justine and Zoe set the table. Gabe and Mateo had brought in two fold out tables from the workshop and the girls set those too. Showers were being taken and everyone was going about their morning as best they could. The plan for today was thick in the air and you could almost taste it over the smell of food.

They all ate in silence and looks were being shot around the room. Everyone was nervous for today.

“I would like to come.” Mateo tells the room

“I am sorry who are you?” Charles asks

“I am Mateo, I am sorry once you all came I left you in privacy and went out to the workshop. I am, Kaiden hired me as a fighting instructor.” Mateo felt a little intimidated by Charles.

“He is one of the best in the nation.” Gabe tells Charles

“I see. Why is it you want to come Mateo?” Bradley asks

“Well last night when the men came to the workshop they found me. I told them who I was and they told me the plan. I sparred with some of them and you have taught them well Charles. But I was told that only a blood dragon or human can open the cell that Marcus is in. Well I am human and I am a good fighter. I can open the cage and she does not need to put herself in danger. From what I understand this Aldrich will be able to sense all of you but he has to be close. But his daughter
, he will be able to feel, she is his blood. May I ask Charles, since you are not the blood of Kaiden, how far were you once you felt him?”

“About fifteen miles, but the parents felt it at twenty.”

“Right and Vivi how far are the camps from each other?

“Forty miles” she responds

“And let me guess your father knew every time you went there?”

“Yes he did.”

“Right so you need me.” Mateo said “Also I will be able to tell if it is a trap. It will just look like I am a hiker who took a wrong path.”

“Very well, you are right
, so Vivi and Christian you stay.” Charles says

“I will draw you up a map of the terrain and inside the camp. Just get in and out quickly. Once that cell is open there is an alarm at the main camp. He will know immediately that the cell was opened.”

They finished breakfast and cleaned up. They then went to the workshop and grabbed the weapons that they would need. Mateo dressed himself in some of Gabe’s winter clothing so he looked like a hiker. As soon as they were all ready to go, they all headed to the airport. Charles had chartered two more jets. The ones that were not going to Alaska boarded the other two jets and they were off to Ireland. Charles had informed them all of the secret that is the Ireland Sect.

The mountain and surrounding land has been in
Kaiden’s for generations. It was rumored that Ireland was the birthplace of all Dragons. A couple generations back they found a book of spells and cast a protection spell over the land. Only those that have swore their lives to the King and Queen of the land were allowed in and out. Now that everyone was sworn to Kaiden and Zoe they would be allowed access.

The ones going to Alaska all said their goodbyes and boarded the smallest jet and were headed to Bristol Bay.
They planned to land at another airport that was closer to the secondary camp and hike in. The trip only took about two hours and was completely uneventful. As they landed they all looked at each other with fierce determination and stepped out of the plane. .

Tia and John, Camilla and
Sebastian, and Mateo were the first out of the jet. Charles, Gabe and Zoe followed, and Kaiden and Michael brought up the rear. They waited for night to fall before they made their move Michael piloted the jet so he stayed behind and was going to have the jet ready for takeoff at a moment’s notice. Once night fall came they all took off almost in a sprint following the direction Vivi told them. They slowed down a little saving their energy. Kaiden held Zoe’s hand tight and did not want to let her go. They walked for over an hour before they felt or saw anything. Then out of nowhere Zoe’s mind was filled with ramblings.

“Kaiden do you hear that too?”

“Hear what?

They all stopped and looked at Zoe. She was turning in circles looking for the voice. Kaiden realized what she was hearing and so he spoke to her in her mind “Zoe can you hear me?” she gasped “Yes” he grinned “If you hear anyone else then that is your father my angel
, talk to him.” She nodded her head and closed her eyes.

“Marcus?”

“Who is this? What is happening?”

“My name is Zoe
, I am your daughter, and I am here with others to save you.”

“Oh my Zoe, my Zoe, my Zoe, my Zoe” he repeated over and over “My Zoe how is your mother? How is my Elizabeth? Is she here? I
can’t feel anyone, why can I hear you but not feel you?”

“Dad I need you to listen to me.”

“Ok”

“Are there any men in the area you are in?”

“No only women and children.”

Zoe urged them forward and more quickly

“Good are there any guards?”

“Yes there are four women who are armed.”

“Ok where are you in the cave?”

“The back but I can see the entrance.”

“Good look hard can you see us yet?

“No not yet”

Zoe surged on and went as fast as she could till she heard her father yell

“STOP”

“What? What is it?”

“I see you
, but ten men just walked in the building.”

“Daddy I need you to do something for me because I can now see you and the entrance and everyone in it. I need you to shift and cause a huge commotion. Do you see the man with me in the red and black plaid shirt?”

“Yes, yes I can do that it hurts Zoe girl.”

“I know Daddy
this man is going to come in he is Human he can open your cell. These four are going to come with him and they are going to get you out. Once the cell is open I need you to shift back to human and let them carry you out. Then we need to get out as fast as we can. Do you understand?”

She didn’t get the reply all she got was a deafening roar. Tia and John grabbed Mateo’s arms and carried him forward as fast as they could go. Charles and Sebastian went with them and chaos erupted. Gabe and Kaiden stood to either side of Zoe
and Camilla was in the front ready to spring if they needed help. Gabe had his Sai out and was standing semi crouch ready to spring. Zoe was watching everything happen like it was a movie. John and Tia were brutal snapping necks and kicking knees in. Sebastian and Charles were just as brutal, they had all ten men down and the four armed guards killed before they knew what hit them. Mateo held his own too and was at the cage door hands braced to open it.

“DADDY SHIFT NOW!!” Zoe screamed in her mind.

Marcus shifted and Mateo opened the door. Charles and Sebastian picked him up under his arms and hauled him out. Tia and John grabbed Mateo and they were hauling ass to Zoe. As soon as they were out of the cave mouth alarms blared in the air around them. They ran as fast as they all could to the airfield. Ten miles from the airfield the encountered a road block of twenty men. They were all armed with rifles and shotguns. They all froze.

“Block them Baby Girl!” Zoe’s father yelled in her head

“How?”

“Concentrate real hard and think of a huge brick wall”

Suddenly the men looked confused and scared. Tia and John set Mateo down and they all drew swords. Gabe was behind the men before they could blink. John and Tia joined as soon as one man went down from Gabe’s Sai. Mateo strode out right in front of the men and slashed hard. Mateo was fierce and relentless. These half-bloods had no chance against all these Dragons. Now that they were fully tuned they were stronger and faster. The Fury Dragons danced with their swords slashing and spinning. Gabe was more silent in his fighting. Kaiden and Zoe could only stare in awe as the half-bloods were cut down in almost complete silence. Not one peep was heard, only the heavy breathing of Mateo.

Zoe took down the wall as the la
st man fell and they were off again. This time they got an extra spurt of energy and ran as fast as they could. Zoe made it to the plane first and she looked past her family and saw what was coming at them.

“GO
GO GO!” She yelled

The jet engine started and roared to life
. Zoe was screaming for them to hurry as a huge red Dragon was gaining ground on them, getting closer and closer. Hate rippled off this Dragon. He let out a giant roar and Marcus turned to look at him as the others rushed forward. Zoe couldn’t help the smile that came to her face as her Father stuck his middle finger high in the air at the Blood Dragon,e4de3 flipping him off.

The Dragons

Pearl
: These Dragons are the rarest most powerful Dragons. Because they are the most powerful they are the Kings and Queens of all the Dragons. Some powers included Mind reading and talking to all other dragons through the mind. They are the only Dragons that can turn a Half-blood into a Dragon.

Fury
: These Dragons are natural fighters they have huge tempers and are always looking for a fight. These are the Dragons that Kings and Queens keep very close to them. They are very good at hand to hand and extremely fast and light on their feet. The can anticipate any move that the enemy will make before he makes it.

Onyx
: These dragons are most powerful at night. They have excellent night vision and are excellent at evasion. They do not like to be seen and you will not hear or see them coming. They excel at tactics and maneuvers.

Fire
: Obviously these are the Dragons that breathe fire. They have an extremely sensitive nose which gives them the ability to smell everything from fear to grass. They are on the larger scale of the Dragon Race and have massive strength.

Water
: The water Dragons are able to control water. They are also able to swallow massive amounts of water and spray up to 200 feet. They are your best asset when they are near water as they can wash away all your worries.

Earth
: They Earth Dragons are able to control earth, they can move huge boulders with ease, and they can build a wall of dirt or dig their way to your side. They can make the earth bury you alive or pin you to the ground.

Blood
: The Blood Dragon is a special and rare Dragon. Their touch is what sets them apart from all other Dragons. They can heal anything or bring it to its death with a simple touch. This however is the only special ability these Dragons have. They tend to be jealous Dragons and need constant approval from their King or Queen.
