Proverbs 30:24-28

24
 There be four
things which are
little upon the earth, but they
are
exceeding wise:

25
 The ants
are
a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

26
 The conies
are but
a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;

27
 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;

28
The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

Zechariah 8:1-23

1
Again the word of the L
ORD
of hosts came
to me
[Zechariah], saying,
2
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

3
 Thus saith the L
ORD
; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the L
ORD
of hosts the holy mountain.

4
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
5
And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

6
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the L
ORD
of hosts.

7
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
8
and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

9
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which
were
in the day
that
the foundation of the house of the L
ORD
of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
10
For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither
was there any
peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
11
 But now I
will
not
be
unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the L
ORD
of hosts.

12
 For the seed
shall be
prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these
things.
13
And it shall come to pass,
that
as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not,
but
let your hands be strong.

14
 For thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the L
ORD
of hosts, and I repented not:
15
so again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
16
 These
are
the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
17
and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these
are things
that I hate, saith the L
ORD
.

18
And the word of the L
ORD
of hosts came unto me, saying,
19
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; The fast of the fourth
month,
and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

20
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts;
It shall
yet
come to pass,
that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
21
 and the inhabitants of one
city
shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the L
ORD
, and to seek the L
ORD
of hosts: I will go also.
22
Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the L
ORD
of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the L
ORD
.

23
 Thus saith the L
ORD
of hosts; In those days
it shall come to pass,
that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard
that
God
is
with you.

Revelation 16:1-21

1
And I [John] heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2
And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and
upon
them which worshipped his image.

3
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead
man;
and every living soul died in the sea.

4
And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5
And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7
And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous
are
thy judgments.

8
And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11
and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs
come
out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,
which
go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed
is
he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18
And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake,
and
so great.
19
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20
And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21
And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven,
every stone
about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Psalm 144:1-15

A Psalm
of David.

1
 Blessed
be
the L
ORD
my strength, which teacheth my hands to war,
and
my fingers to fight:

2
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and
he
in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

3
 L
ORD
, what
is
man, that thou takest knowledge of him!
or
the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

4
Man is like to vanity: his days
are
as a shadow that passeth away.

5
 Bow thy heavens, O L
ORD
, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

6
Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.

7
 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;

8
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand
is
a right hand of falsehood.

9
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery
and
an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

10

It is he
that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.

11
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand
is
a right hand of falsehood:

12
 That our sons
may be
as plants grown up in their youth;
that
our daughters
may be
as corner stones, polished
after
the similitude of a palace:

13

That
our garners
may be
full, affording all manner of store:
that
our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:

14

That
our oxen
may be
strong to labour;
that there be
no breaking in, nor going out; that
there be
no complaining in our streets.

15
 Happy
is that
people, that is in such a case:
yea,
happy
is that
people, whose God
is
the L
ORD
.

Proverbs 30:29-31

29
 There be three
things
which go well, yea, four are comely in going:

30
 A lion
which is
strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;

31
A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom
there is
no rising up.
