I
can’t tell you how happy I am that Sparrow is in your hands!  Kyle and Addison
have been driving me crazy for over a year ~ I had a hard time keeping their
hands off each other!  Although they are fictional, Buhl Lake is a real place.
Last year, while riding backward on a jet ski to spot my kids tubing,
inspiration hit.  Kyle invaded my mind and he wouldn’t leave me alone.  I had
to tell his story.  I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing
it.

With
that said, there are a few people I need to thank for their support and
encouragement along the way:

My
family.

Thank you to my husband for allowing me a peek into the male mind.  Thank you
for answering my questions and not laughing…too much.  Thank you for pushing me
and reminding me I’m not writing this book for “fourteen-year-olds” (see
Chapter 27).  Super thanks to my daughter for naming Tori, and to my son for
playing his video games alongside my typing fingers.

My
betas.

Tara, Koz, Erica, Aubrey, and Breena.  Thank you for your patience as you
received Sparrow chapter by chapter.  Thank you for questioning me and wanting
more.  I honestly thought Koz was going to have a stroke in the beginning of
the book!  And Tara, wow.  Just wow.  Now that you (and your husband, John) are
immortalized in print, I hope you know you’ve signed a life-long beta ~ I mean,
friendship ~ contract.

Street Team.

You keep me going.  And, last but not least, Ms. Whitney.  Thank you for our
long Facebook chats and volunteering your husband as my editor.  Or, maybe he
was coerced?  Either way, I hope my overuse of adverbs and semi-colons didn’t
scar him!  Chris, thank you for helping me keep Kyle direct (“Why can’t you
just say…”) while maintaining his charm.

About the Author

Sara
Mack is a Michigan native who grew up with her nose in books.  She is a wife
and a hockey mom on top of being trapped in an office forty hours a week.
Her spare time is spent
one-clicking on Amazon and devouring books on her Kindle, cleaning up after her
kids and two elderly cats, attempting to keep her flower garden alive, and, of
course, writing.  She has an unnatural affinity for dark chocolate, iced tea,
and bacon.
