I took her by the hand and drew her out into water that came to just below her breasts. Though the last other people had left the small cove a few minutes before, I turned her so her back was to the shore before I murmured, “Don’t move.”

Her eyes lit up.

Then I tugged down both cups of her bikini top, until her pink-brown areolas peeked out.

“What are you doing?”

“Turning you on, of course.”

I bent and kissed her while thumbing around and around her nipples, slowly, agonizingly slowly, from the way her breath hitched. Her nipples tightened into hard buttons and I pinched both between finger and thumb.

“How far can I go without you coming?” I kissed her neck, then her ear, biting her softly.

“Without? I don’t know. I don’t want to come here!” Her answer was breathy and she was already wriggling forward, rubbing on my poor long-suffering cock. “Someone might arrive and –”

I chuckled. “No, no one can see anything. There’s no one here. Pull down my shorts and take out my cock. Unless you’re safewording?”

“Safeword? Ohhh. I’d forgotten I had one.”

When she looked indecisive, I decided to up the stakes. “Would you rather I strip you naked first?”

“Shhh!” I felt her hands fumbling at me. “This is crazy.”

When she had her hand wrapped around my shaft, I put my hands under her butt and lifted her higher, made her spread her legs and put them around me.

“Now put my cock between your legs.”

“You can’t do that!” she whispered urgently. “We’ll get arrested for screwing in public.”

“Do it.”

Her brows tweaked inward but after one long sigh, she did as she was told.

I inched aside the crotch of her bikini bottoms, so there was nothing between us, then thrust along the natural groove formed by the lips of her pussy. The slide of her on my cock had me stiffening even more. “That feels awesome.”

Wren giggled. “I can feel you getting harder.”

“Mmm. Before I was chocolate bar stiffness, now I’m iron bar. All your doing.”

I hoisted her a little higher and stuffed myself along between her legs, almost,
almost
dipping into that well of slipperiness I could feel giving way under the head of my cock.

“Oh god.” She groaned. “Would Sir like me to eat his iron bar? Lick it? Tongue it?” She hugged my neck, put her mouth to my ear, and whispered, “I’m good at that.”

“Sir,” I grunted. “Would like to stick his iron bar
in
you. Don’t tease or it’ll go in your other hole, right here, right now.”

“Eeek! No! Bad man.”

I grinned. “Yes.” I did some more little slips and slides right on that entrance spot. “Fuck.”

“Yes, Sir. Fucking is good.” She gasped. “Oh god. I need you in me. Just not here. Not here. You’ve no condom anyway.”

“I know,” I growled that word between my teeth as my cock pulsed against her willing little cunt. A hand job just wouldn’t be enough. “I was going to make you come but I’ve changed my mind.”

I reached around and found her entrance, stuck my finger up there. I bit her neck, and the upper curves of her breasts. Though she protested and squealed at each bite, Wren leaned back in my arms, as if to give me easier access. Her pussy entrance was clenching in down there, greedy for cock, and I had to pull back or risk ending up inside her, all accidental like. So tempting.

It was getting desperate for both of us. Mostly for her soon, I decided. I was going to make use of that massager I’d bought days ago. Finally.

“I’m going to put you down then we’re walking back to the hotel room.” I stared at her. “I’m going to tease the fucking hell out of you with that vibe massager thing until you’re begging me to come. But I’m not going to let you to come until after I fuck you from behind, while you stand bent over at the window with your little black dress on.”

“Oh.” Her eyes were wide. “All that and I can’t come?”

“Nope. And if you do anything while I fuck you except be a good girl and stand still for me, you won’t get to come until tomorrow morning, when I will find a deserted beach, tow you into the water and do your ass. So be very careful and tell when you’re close.”

“I don’t know if I like this game.” She wriggled side to side. “Did I ever say you were bad, Sir?”

“Uh-huh. And you know what else I’m doing?” I nudged her nose with mine. “I’m prescribing fucking every day from now on. As well as a walk in the sun. Kink, fucking, and sun.”

“Wow.”

“You know why? Because I can see the happiness in you, Miss Wren. More than you’ve been for so long. The sunlight is in you, your face, every wriggle, every smile I’ve seen. I want more of that. Looks like I made up a good prescription.”

“Yes,” she looked down as she answered. “I know, Glass. I never thought this would make me feel so good. It’s a little crazy really.” She curled her tongue out onto her top lip, as if thinking, then licked along her mouth. “What if I disobey? Some days I might not want to walk...or to get fucked...or even kinkiness. Do I get spanked?”

The little minx liked spanking. “Hmmm. I might need to think of something you don’t like. Minced worms for breakfast?” I started lumbering to the beach with her still up in my arms, like some leviathan creature rising from the depths...though at least I’d caught something tasty.

In my head, I laughed at my idea. I needed to go fishing more often.

“Ewww! Yuck, yuck, yuck. That would be disgusting! And unhealthy.”

“Then, I might just make you stand in the corner naked while I watch you, then paddle you with that spiky kitchen utensil I saw in a drawer.”

She was quiet. Too quiet.

I sighed. “You like that idea too. Damn. I’ll just have to tie you up and ignore you.”

“Awww.”

I checked and Wren looked sad, as in lost puppy sad.

“Good. I found your weakness.”

“Meanie.” But she put her arms around me even tighter and whispered, “Love you,” in my ear.

“Love you too, my pretty luscious lipped wench. You’d better put my cock back in my pants and get down or we’ll scare the wildlife.”

Wren snorted.

The sun might have been setting, but around us seemed brighter than it had been for many months.

Chapter 47

Wren

I laid the book by my side and smiled up at the pinpricks of the stars. The crescent moon was distant and small and still drifting above the horizon. At this time of night, this rooftop pool was breezy and a few cicadas and mosquitoes had somehow found their way up here, but it was surprisingly quiet too. There was only an elderly couple across the water, sipping red wine and being served a cheese and fruit platter, as well as two teenager girls having fun chasing each other in the water.

Glass had done exactly as he’d threatened to, made me wait forever before I could come, teasing me endlessly after he fucked me. I’d loved it. Seemed as if it didn’t always matter to me so much what was done but rather that it pleased him. Remembering his absorbed stare and the way his hard-on had come back while I pleaded with him...it gave me goose bumps. I surreptitiously put my hand between my legs and squeezed in on it.

Luckily Glass had fallen asleep on the sun lounge beside me. If he knew remembering had turned me on, he’d be amused in that infuriating way of his. Which would be hot, come to think of it. I sighed but decided not to prod him. The massager had given me a sore clit already. High speed was more like way-too-high speed.

I picked up the book and smoothed my hand over the wrinkled cover.

War and Peace.

One more page to read and I was done. I wanted to savor this, all by myself. I flicked to the last page and turned it into the overhead light.

I read the words, slowing at the final line, almost breathing them in, then I slowly closed
War and Peace
. For a while, I held the heavy book to my chest, looking up at those stars.

Glass didn’t understand what this book meant to me. I didn’t quite understand either, except that I couldn’t dismiss Moghul or his effect on me with the wave of some magic wand.

I’d needed to say goodbye and this book had helped me to see that if I looked beyond the avalanche of his arrogance and sadism and immorality, there had existed a man who had something worthwhile to him.

I couldn’t sum up those qualities, or him, easily, couldn’t put them in a neat box and declare
there it is
, but there was something good beneath the monster.

“Time for bed?” Glass sat up, yawning, then scrubbed his hands through his hair.

“Sure.” I gathered up the magazine I’d also brought and padded after him, toward the glass door.

He paused to point past my shoulder. “You’ve left your book.”

“It’s okay. Sometimes when I’m finished with a good book I like to leave them. It’s like I’m passing on the fantasy.” I smiled and ran up to him to take his hand. “Maybe you can buy me a new one?”

“Okay.” He nodded, smile lines crinkling around his eyes. “We’ll go browse some bookstores tomorrow.”

“Thank you.” I went up on tiptoes and kissed him. “Thank you for everything.”

Then I walked away, leaving the book under the stars again – those tolerant, serene, and distant stars.

Goodbye Moghul.

Chapter 48

Glass

Europe. Amazing that I’d never done a lot of touring here until Wren decided we should. I’d been to the usual tourist places that all Brits go to but never skied down the Swiss Alps or paddled a kayak in the Greek isles, visited the Coliseum, or this... Damn the view was enough to give me a hard-on.

Mountains and more mountains. Crystal-clear air that you could see forever on and snow on those mountain tops across the valley.

I set down my glass of apple cider on the crooked terracotta step. The stuff was okay but beer was better. Wren could keep her cider all to herself. Some monk, or someone medieval-ish, had built this place and it’d been refurbished so often the floor had more ancient floor beneath it and the old goat pen down the slope had a chunk of ancient Roman tessellated mosaic next to the feeding trough.

Fucking amazing history, though I wasn’t keen on falling off the mountainside if I staggered out the back gate, drunk, and didn’t watch my feet.

We would move on in a month anyway, if I knew Wren. Wanderlust? Or some weird need she had to explore? It didn’t matter to me. Happy times, either way. My prescription for kink, sex, and sun had worked well.

“You can come in now!”

The delivery must be installed. What the hell had she found? A six-foot Grecian love goddess statue? Last time it’d been a gothic table with dragons for the legs. I’d show her what I’d bought at a street vendor yesterday, after I saw whatever monstrosity she had in our bedroom. Mine was perhaps not as authentic, but it was the sort of item I liked to collect.

I’d get her hiking tomorrow. We both needed the exercise.

I sauntered through the house, amused by her impatient yells.

“Where are you?”

“Coming!”

“No you’re not. If you were, I’d know.” Then a giggle.

Cheeky thing.
I shook my head and stepped through the bedroom door, bracing myself for a gothic nightmare object.

“Wow.” Our bed was gone and had been replaced by a higher bed, stunning really with the Japanese-style quilt and the fine leaves curling up the black metal bed posts. “Very...Oriental.”

But most stunning of all was the black-barred cage beneath the bed, on which the mattress and bed base rested. Even that followed the Japanese theme, with the bars slightly curved yet elegant, and a stork in different positions forming the main posts of the cage and the legs of the bed.

“A cage?” I raised my eyebrows at my girl, where she kneeled beside the bed, wearing a delicate white dress. “So innocent. So virginal.” I smirked my best evil smirk as I stalked closer. “Is this a hint?”

Wren cleared her throat and looked up at me. “Only if Sir wishes to make use of the cage.”

Fuck yeah, I did. I’d been so careful around her, not pushed the kink too much, letting her show me the way, to a degree. I’d let out some of my perverted side and so far she’d loved it when I took the initiative. Calling me Sir had happened naturally when we were in the bedroom, and sometimes elsewhere.
