Her bare buttocks were cold from the car door, and she felt completely exposed to the world, even though she knew intellectually that nobody was watching the scene unfolding in the driveway.

Hunter wasn’t eating her out right then, however. He was studying her, while his hands inched slowly closer to her wettest, most private place. The mere touch of his fingers was driving her mad.

She moaned, writhed. She couldn’t escape, didn’t want to, but she also needed to fight for some reason. Everything in her was rebelling at the moment, and yet the rebellion wasn’t real. She wanted to be conquered and Hunter knew it, because he understood her—just as he’d always understood her—sometimes more than she knew herself.

His fingers slowly dipped into her tight folds, sliding in, squeezing into her tunnel. She groaned with pleasure. Hunter started to fuck her with his fingers, pushing in and then pulling out, starting to use his sense of rhythm to make her come.

“Oh—oh fuck,” she whispered desperately.

“Don’t come,” he commanded. “Don’t come until I tell you—which might just be never, after the way you’ve behaved tonight.”

“Please,” she begged. Her hips had a mind of their own, it seemed.

As his fingers dipped in and out, her hips moved in time. She was being overcome by an intense sensation of ecstasy. He was controlling her, he was tempting her, he was toying with her.

“Do not come.” He said it again. Each time he said it, her urge to climax increased exponentially.

She threw her head back and moaned loudly and her hips bucked, forcing his fingers all the way inside.

He stimulated her clitoris and she cried out. Her nipples were stiff as mountain peaks in the cooling night air. Her skin prickled in the breeze, sweat pouring down her neck, between her breasts, her legs.

Right as she was about to let loose, when the moment of climax was upon her, Hunter suddenly withdrew his hand and stood up. He stared directly into his eyes. “I fucking own you, don’t I?”

She almost nodded. Much of the fight had been taken out of her, and she was weak. She just wanted to come. She wanted him inside of her, now, and she wanted to take every last drop of him when he finished.

But she couldn’t stop fighting. Instead, she forced a smile to her lips. “I do what I want, when I want.”

“Get on your knees,” he demanded.

She ignored him. He grabbed her by her shoulders and forced her down to the ground. There was a sharp pain as her knees bit into the concrete, but she didn’t care.

Her face was directly in line with his bulging crotch, and she was flooded with even more wetness as Hunter quickly unzipped himself.

“Put my cock in your mouth.”

She closed her mouth tightly, refusing.

Hunter grabbed her by her hair and then took his cock in hand.

She kept her mouth shut. He responded by forcing the tip of his penis to her lips and sliding it across them, back forth, slapping it on her face and lips.

He grabbed her hair more tightly until a scorching pain raced through her scalp.

She opened her mouth to cry out in pain, although the pain wasn’t terrible. It was just enough to cause a reaction like the one she gave.

As she opened her mouth, Hunter thrust his shaft inside, plunging into her, stroking quickly back and forth. “Looks like you suck a pretty good dick when you stop whining,” he said, his voice husky.

She was about to come again, even without being touched down there.

Just the sensation of him inside her mouth, his enormous cock swollen and slick with spit and pre-cum, made her shiver in the depths of her being.

And then she did come, despite knowing that it was the biggest sign of weakness she could display. She wasn’t able to fight him, not really. It wasn’t even a contest and they both knew it.

“Damn, your mouth feels good. Tight too,” he said. “I like the way your lips suction onto me,” he told her.

She tightened her lips around his shaft, letting him plow into her again and again.

“Now that you’ve done such a good job of sucking me off, I want you to stand up.” He pulled out of her mouth and waited.

Kallie got to her feet, feeling ravaged but excited. Her knees were red and a little raw, her pussy was soaked, and she was tired from expending so much energy on arguing and resisting and then the sexual interplay.

Hunter grabbed her roughly and spun her around, pushing her against the door, only this time the front of her was against it. Her cheek slammed into the window, as her hands searched for purchase, grabbing the side of the windshield and the hood.

He spanked her butt a few times, hard. “This is what you get for being so disobedient and back talking me,” he said. The smacks came again, tingling her buttocks.

“I’ve been bad,” she admitted.

“And now you get what you wanted all along,” he replied, sliding his cock into her pussy from behind. “You’re so fucking wet, I’m swimming in your juices,” he told her, slamming himself against her backside.

Kallie’s breasts slapped the window and her cheek smudged against the glass as Hunter continued to pummel her from behind.

It was rough, but God it felt amazing, she thought. She groaned as he went deeper and deeper each time. She cried out. Again and again, he went in, and he was so hard, taking up every inch of her.

Finally, she started to climax.

“Now I’m going to come too,” he said, grabbing her hair and pulling her head back. As he came, he kissed her deeply on the mouth, punishing her backside with one or two more ferocious penetrations.

Kallie climaxed simultaneously with him, and her legs shook. She felt like she might pass out, it was so intense.

And when they were both finished, she actually slid to the ground next to the car, laughing and almost crying from the exertion.

Hunter sat down next to her. “What were we fighting about again?” he asked.

She shook her head. “I don’t have the slightest idea.”

***

That night, they slept together naked, Hunter’s arms wrapped around Kallie, enveloping her in the cocoon that was part of what had made her fall in love with him in the first place. Every so often, she would wake up and smile, and think how none of her problems meant anything as long as she had him in her life.

The next morning, Hunter was up early.

Kallie woke up a bit late, showered, changed into jeans and a t-shirt, padding downstairs to find Hunter already at work on his computer. “Coffee’s brewed in the kitchen,” he announced, as she walked by.

“Thanks!” she shouted.

“How’d you sleep?” he called back.

“Fine! I was worn out.” She smiled, walking into the kitchen, poured herself a cup and sipped it for a moment, relishing the taste.

Seconds later, Hunter materialized in the doorway. “So, I got called away to meet with my L.A. agent,” he said.

“What?” She put her cup down on the counter. “Why?”

“I need to sign contracts and meet with some development guys.”

“Who? What guys?”

“Look, it’s no big deal.” He checked his phone. “I already booked a flight out later this morning, so I’ll get to L.A. in the afternoon. I’ll take the red-eye back and be home by tomorrow morning. No sweat.”

She pouted. “I could’ve come with you, though.”

He walked towards her, taking her gently in his arms and kissing her lips softly.

“You’re already tired and the last thing you need now is more travel.”

“But what about you?”

“What about me?”

“You’re pushing yourself too hard. You need to rest. I see how poorly you sleep lately.”

“Slept like a log last night,” he grinned. “Honestly, I’m fine.” He started out of the room again. “Now I need to put in some more work before I head to the airport.”

Kallie’s good humor disappeared. She hated that he was suddenly going to the West Coast, and she didn’t understand why he just decided to leave without her. She would much rather have gone with him. Didn’t she have a say in anything?

After sipping her coffee a little while longer, she decided that she really didn’t feel right about Hunter just scheduling this trip without even consulting her first. She walked into his office and knocked on the open door with a purpose, announcing her presence.

Hunter was typing, and he turned to her with a look of slight impatience.

“Everything okay?” he asked, in a tone that seemed to imply the answer had better be yes.

“Not completely,” she said. “The thing is, I really wish you would have asked me if I wanted to go with you to L.A. today.”

Hunter ran a hand through his hair. “Kallie, I’m sorry. It was early, I got the call and made the arrangements. I knew that it would be a quick trip and there wasn’t really any reason for you to have to do all of this traveling and sitting at airports and in planes.”

“I know, but maybe I want to be with you.”

He looked at her. “And I want to be with you. But it would be silly for you to accompany me on this trip. Stay here, relax and have some fun. Go out today and forget about Blue Horizon and sequels and scripts and crazy actors and writers. Just have a day to yourself. I’ll be back early tomorrow. You’ll hardly even know I’m gone.”

She nodded, still not sure this whole thing was sitting right with her. “Okay,” she said, slapping her thigh with one hand. “I guess I better just enjoy it since apparently I have no say either way.”

“You have plenty of say in things around here,” he said, turning back to his computer.

But as she walked away, Kallie wondered: If I have so much say in things around here, why does it seem like I’m always being told what I’m doing next?

***

Kallie was in a funk after Hunter left for the airport that morning.

She’d hugged him goodbye and pretended everything was all right, but inside Kallie just didn’t like how things had played out. At the same time, she was a little bit confused, because there was a distinct possibility that what Lydia and Sean had said last night was factoring into her emotions.

So she let Hunter go without bringing up her disappointment in his making plans and leaving without her. Watching his car drive down the hill and away from home, Kallie felt a sense of unease and anxiety.

Eventually, she went and watched some mindless TV and tried to take her mind off things, which helped a little.

Finally, after enough moping around, Kallie decided to take Hunter’s advice.

Why shouldn’t I have a day just for me? She thought. I’ve spent the last weeks doing nothing but working with Hunter, helping Hunter, being with Hunter. I’ve barely had an hour to myself, let alone a whole day.

So she went and got dressed in a nice skirt and blouse ensemble, and then got in her car and decided to head to Manhattan. It would be a nice, long drive with the radio blasting, and then some time walking around her favorite shops and doing things she enjoyed.

The further along she drove, the more her mood picked up, and the better she felt about the whole situation. She even wondered if maybe she’d gotten a little too attached to Hunter, feeling as though she had to spend every second in his company.

Spending a night apart was not the end of the world, and this day was going to prove it.

It proved to be a beautiful day in the high sixties, with very little breeze and hardly a cloud in the sky. Driving into the city, she rolled the windows down and allowed herself to enjoy the energy of New York. The smells, the sights, the sounds—the honking cabs, the vendors selling roasted peanuts, hotdogs, people hawking knock-off purses on every corner.

Kallie remembered why she’d wanted to come here in the first place.

She parked in midtown and just started walking with no real destination in mind.

After all, she had the whole day to herself. It was freeing.

Kallie went and ate a sandwich at Café Metro, sitting at the counter and staring outside at the people hustling and bustling to and fro. Then she walked to Times Square and got caught up in the throngs of people moving ever so slowly from one block to the next, like some giant centipede inching its way along.

Finally, as she kept walking, the crowd began to thin out. And just as she was passing a frozen yogurt shop on one corner, someone called her name. At first, she thought she must have imagined it. But then the person called her name again, and she turned to see a familiar face standing just outside the yogurt shop. At first, it was so unexpected that she couldn’t place who it was—and then she realized it was Danielle.

“I thought you were purposely ignoring me for a minute,” Danielle laughed, as Kallie came over.

Danielle was holding a stroller, and Kallie maneuvered around it so they could give one another a polite peck on the cheek.

“I didn’t hear you at first, and then I thought it couldn’t have been directed at me.”

“You look amazing, first of all,” Danielle said.

She waited for the return compliment, so Kallie gave it to her. “And you—you are stunning,” Kallie replied. “Are you working with a personal trainer or something?

Because you look ripped and toned.”

Danielle acted as though she had trouble accepting the compliment, when Kallie knew well enough that Nicole’s friend sucked up compliments better than a Hoover sucked up dust and dirt. “Well, I do my best. I’ve been eating really clean lately, which is certainly helping matters. I’ve even got Kane on the same program,” she said, gesturing over her shoulder.

“Oh, there he is.” Kallie waved and Kane gave her a quick wave back from inside the yogurt shop. He was in line, about to order. “So, who’s in the stroller?” Kallie asked, bending down and trying to peek beneath the hood at the child inside.

“That’s Riley!” Danielle laughed. “Is she awake?”

Riley was staring at Kallie with wide, curious eyes.

“She seems to be, the little darling. Hi, Riley! Hi, little cutie! Remember me?”

Kallie said.

“She probably doesn’t remember you,” Danielle said. “She was so young when you were living at Red and Nicole’s house.”

Kallie felt the sting of those words, and realized it was probably true. “You’re babysitting?” she asked, trying to move on to a new topic.
