“It’s been five years, Flynn Mitchell.”
Flynn stared at Winter, her brain still foggy from just waking up. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she tried to think of an important event five years prior and drew a blank. Their first date? The first time they had sex? It definitely wasn’t their wedding anniversary because they had only been married for four years. “Five years?”
Standing over the bed in all of his naked splendor, melting the sleep fog from her brain and replacing it with desire, he held up her packet of birth control pills. She briefly wondered why he had the pills but then didn’t care because he was rock hard and she was ready for him. More than ready. Deliberately tossing the pills aside, he jumped onto her, bouncing the bed beneath his muscular weight.
Straddling her thighs and pinning her down, he gave her a look of pure wickedness. Waggling his eyebrows, he purred, “It’s time for some baby-making sex.”
She threw her arms around his neck and laughed in sheer joy. God, she loved this man!
