She’s celebrated New Year in winter in Nepal and trekked in Vietnam, lived briefly in a studio in the middle of Paris and fished with a homemade rod in Wales among other family joys. She lived ‘out west’ for a time in Australia, and spends Christmas holidays at the beach.
Travel, whether at home or abroad, inspires and excites her, so naturally, it inspires her heroes and heroines too.
