Brand hesitated a moment. "You planned for that?"

She nodded, picking up his personal flavor on her lips.

His hands closed on the front of her blouse, and he pulled it apart. Pearl buttons went flying around the room, and the sound of shredding cotton shot her arousal into overdrive.

Brand yanked the blouse off her arms and threw it over his shoulder. "You are mine, little wolf."

Trying to force speech was impossible, Eva conceded. She nodded instead.

He backed her across the room.

Toward his bed.
She didn't look to see if she was right. Brand had promised she would shed her blood on his sheets. There was nowhere else he would want to take her.

The mattress pressed to her thighs and Eva took a calming breath.

Brand captured her lips again, leading her from one kiss to another and a third. He stroked his hands down her body, his lips leaving hers so he could catalog her attributes to himself.

Eva panted in need, his descriptions of her body making her blood heat for more.

"And all mine." He claimed her, his voice rough.

"Yes."
Make me yours.

He turned her and folded Eva over the edge of the mattress in a series of smooth motions. Brand forced her legs wider.

"You liked my descriptions," he murmured.

"Yes." It seemed that was all she could manage to say.

"You will like them better when I revisit each one."

Her inner muscles clenched and she moaned.

"But, for now, I will claim what you offer, little wolf."

Eva fisted her hands in the rumpled quilt, prepared for him to thrust hard and deep.

He didn't. Brand spread her nether lips and went to his knees. His tongue traced the seam, inside and out, and he recounted his senses of her: the tang of her musk, the silk of her body, the quivering of her excited body.

Her moans gained volume and Eva's palms started to itch.
I'm shifting.
She wracked her brains to remember hearing of a female shifting her first time during sex
before
he'd even made it inside her.

I don't think I've ever heard of this.

Her instincts took over and she tried to turn to attack him.

Brand came to his feet, capturing her with ease. He pressed her wrists to the quilt and thrust inside her, his howl of pleasure overlapping with hers.

The fur teasing her inner thighs attested he'd partially shifted as well. Growls escaped his mouth and Eva shivered. She was being fucked by the half-beast, and it was just what she'd always wanted.

His hips retreated and slammed home, over and over, his cock stretching her intimately, in every direction. Her nipples brushed the quilt with every forward thrust.

The tightening in her womb broke free, and she cried out in ecstasy. Brand lodged himself deep, and his heat flowed into her, a hot stream that made her breathing go ragged again.

He released her arms and trailed his fingers up them, claiming her again in action.

I'm his to touch. His to seduce. His to protect.

Aftershocks coursed through her at the thought of it and he growled again.

Brand left her body and lifted Eva to the edge of the mattress. He spread her legs, smiling at the sight of blood and cum spilling onto his bed linens.

"Do you wish to return to your rooms now? With me?" He offered the invitation, though surely he knew he didn't need to offer her anything but safety, care, and pleasure. The ancient rites meant he expected to be in charge completely.

"I guess we should share our scent there as well."

Brand walked across the room and picked up his shirt.

He's giving me his shirt to replace the blouse he ripped off me.
She warmed to the idea. It was so…male. "Would you grab my skirt as well?"

One eyebrow went up in challenge. Before she could make sense of it, he turned and picked up her skirt. In the next heartbeat, he shredded it and tossed it to the floor. His meaning was more than clear.

I'm his, and I will be wearing nothing but his shirt back to the room.

Her body heated in arousal, and her eyes shifted in the force of it. Brand stopped and watched, no doubt trying to decide if she was aroused or angered by the move.

Eva spread her legs and invited him in. "We can go back to
our
rooms later."

The shirt hit the floor a second time and Brand made his way to the bed, his fangs showing.

Dear Night Mother, how am I going to last three days?
Any less would make it seem she was an easy catch.

He thrust inside her again, holding to Eva's hips, positioning her to his best advantage.

Not easy. He's just that good.
