He couldn’t speak, so nodded his head. She unbuckled his pants and undid his zipper one tiny tine at a time. When she peeled back the top of his pants, his cock bounded out, fully erect, the rounded head bright red and engorged.

“Oh, so luscious,” she whispered. “Please, sir. I need to taste it.”

Peter nodded, a little too enthusiastically, he thought.

Immobilized, he gazed at her blond hair that lay in curls down her smooth white back and at her heart-shaped ass, as her lips found his cock and engulfed him. She curled her tongue over the head and sucked down the shaft, then licked his balls. In one long licking stroke, she lapped him from scrotum to tip, sucking at the small bead of liquid that had formed there.

He positioned his hands on her shoulders, then held her head as she leaned into his groin and sucked, moaning. It had been over two years since a woman had touched him. It was when he was human. That woman had been beautiful, but unfaithful. He couldn’t remember what she looked like, just that it ended poorly and he willingly turned before he could be held accountable. The feel of Audray’s mouth on him, the scent of her, the way the pink cheeks of her rear begged for his hands to squeeze them—everything was far better than he had ever imagined sex to be. For the first time in his immortal life, he actually found something he did not want to end.

He was getting close to coming. She seemed to sense this and slowed down her movements, pulled herself away, and raised her head to his face, then planted a big kiss on his lips.

“I told you I once almost sucked the life out of a man. I want you to know, I have only just started. My appetites run long and deep,” she said, her dark eyes flashing with just a hint of red. Peter saw in her something dangerous, but he liked it.

“I think you should continue your training on the bed. I need to prepare you.”

“Yes. Prepare me.” She kissed him again, her tongue going deep into his mouth, her breasts, still wet from his kissing, rubbing and pressing against his chest.

They rose together, leaving her dress on the marble floor like a bloody stain. He drew her upstairs, and down the hall to his bedroom. With the flip of a switch, a three-foot fire came to life in his cobblestone fireplace.

“Nice,” she said, as she walked in front of him toward the bed. He grabbed her breasts from behind and squeezed them while she played with the handcuffs installed in the posters at the foot of the bed.

He bent her over at the waist, then kneeled in front of her peach, hanging ripe, glistening with wetness from her juices. She spread her legs, pushing her tailbone up toward his waiting mouth. His tongue tasted the sweet-sour thickness of her sex as he massaged more from her by flicking it back and forth.

“Oh, sir.”

“Good,” he said. He inserted a finger there, watching it disappear and then return, covered in wetness. The smell of her sex made his arousal rock hard. He pleasured her with another finger and could feel the spasms as she came onto his hand.

“Take me. Please take me, sir.”

He raised himself up, spread her cheeks, and inserted the head of his cock into her opening, then just a bit inside, and stopped.

“You are so cruel, sir. I need more.”

“Oh, don’t worry. You will get your fill.”

“Wait!” She moved off him and climbed up to the bed, turning her head around to watch him as he followed her eagerly. He was so hard he thought he might burst. She bent over again and he saw her sex lips praying before him. He placed himself at her opening, then plunged in. Her delicious folds encased his throbbing member. He was in all the way to the hilt. He pumped, filled with the fire of lust for her, simply not able to get enough. Her internal muscles clamped down on him so hard she seemed to squeeze all the energy from him. He sobbed, embarrassed as he couldn’t help but shoot his seed into her after only three thrusts.

When he stopped, he realized he had covered her back with tears.

Chapter 26

Joshua wandered the cobblestoned streets that dripped with RedEcstasy fog. The gaiety of the place now seemed extra cruel. So many people finding things that they liked to do, he thought. He passed by bars, including the Blue Raven, where he recognized buddies he had been able to drink under the table and swap stories of “up top” romps and adventures. He was not seeking the eyes of people who knew him, except for Felix.

He found Felix at the Pussycat. The pink boa around his naked body was the only ornament Felix wore as he stood inside a metal cage with one of the small dancers. The flesh of his tummy looked almost boyish, not from years of partying, but because Felix never had been toned in the first place. He was almost devoid of muscle. His pink nipples giggled like Jell-O as he danced and hopped around the lighted enclosure, chasing after the redheaded dancer who was considerably younger. As was customary, she was chained by the ankle to the cage and couldn’t get away from the rust hair colored Pan wannabe sharing her dancing space.

Josh’s mood lightened as he heard Felix sing in falsetto. Aretha Franklin’s
Natural Woman.

Felix was well into the next stanza when he stopped and glared at Josh, who had taken up a seat in the front row. He whispered something to the dancer, who looked around his shoulder, displaying a toothy red smile and a mockingly shy demeanor. Josh didn’t recognize her.

Felix picked up his clothes from the lighted floor of the dance box, then exited the back, down metal stairs. Lights on stringers draped about the box shook with his clumsy gait. He appeared to Josh a minute later, fully clothed, a confident smile on his very inebriated face. His lips and teeth were stained with RedEcstasy.

“Well, if it isn’t my old sponsor. Got your wings clipped yet?” Felix beamed, his eyes suddenly hungry for some bad news.

“I’m not sure what you mean.”

“When he comes for you, will you try to vaporize him back?” The red glow to Felix’s already yellowed teeth almost matched his kinky reddish brown hair.

“That depends. If he begs me, I might have to oblige.” Josh tried to seem casual, unconcerned.

Felix frowned, nodding. “You are an asshole, Josh.”

“Yes, well, I’ve never sacrificed someone I cared about to a raging psycho like the director. Just what do you think that makes you, my friend?” Josh took quick inventory of Felix’s disheveled frame and wincing pink face. He hoped the young dark could still feel the pain through his altered state, and guessed he did.

Felix looked down immediately with tears in his eyes and began to sob through his words, “You took her away from me.”

“Only in your mind, son.”

Felix shook his head from side to side.

“You can’t be serious, Felix. She wasn’t ever going to be yours for long. She wanted you as a friend, and you delivered on that promise. You got her to change her mind. But the two of you? Together? That wasn’t going to happen. Surely you can see that, man.” Josh watched the words sink in.

“Still doesn’t excuse your hands all over her. You screw her too, Josh?” Felix sighed. His shoulders sunk and his hands flexed into fists.

That wasn’t an answer Josh was going to give. Not yet.

“So what you’re saying is you are so angry and hurt, you’re gonna push her into danger, maybe get her killed and not think twice. That it, really?”

Felix tried to get a punch off but missed by over half a foot, the momentum of his arm swing whirling him around and then dropping him onto his butt on the floor.

Josh stepped back, addressing the nasty onlookers with his hands out to his sides, demonstrating he hadn’t touched the angel. The crowd seemed unimpressed, and after a lull in the conversation, went back to the events of the evening.

Felix was swearing under his breath, dusting off his backside. His bright red cheeks and quick glances to the audience did nothing to disguise what Josh knew was embarrassment. And pain.

Josh grabbed Felix by the shirt collar with both hands. “Tell me, you total idiot, who do you think she’s safer with? Me? Or the director?” He leaned into the pink-cheeked angel with the quivering lower lip. The challenge was met with silence. Felix’s eyes began to roll back into their sockets as he lost his footing again and they both nearly collapsed to the grimy floor covered in sawdust.

The room went dark except for a pink spotlight as “Ride-em Sally” burst through the red velvet curtains wearing nothing but pink cowboy boots, a white fuzzy hat decorated with ostrich feathers, and a silver holster with two cap pistols. She was ample in appearance, more on the chubby side, but she moved well, Josh thought. It was remarkable every time he watched her dance how un-self-conscious she was, even for her size. She flashed Josh a quick wink of recognition and then allowed her talent to consume her.

Felix appeared uninterested, dealing with issues related to his consciousness. Josh dragged him out to the street, the little dancer planting one last lip lock on him just before they made it through the front door. Josh barely missed being tagged himself. He wasn’t anxious to get a slobbery RedEcstasy mark on any part of his body tonight, even though he had a soft spot for redheads.

The night air seemed to revive Felix, who began to hold up his own weight. Josh rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck from side to side. He gave Felix a careful inspection.

“How much you had?” he asked.

“RedEcstasy?”

“No. Cough syrup. Doesn’t matter how much you drink, you can’t kill yourself, you know. It just hurts, but it won’t kill you.” Josh was disgusted with Felix’s lack of self-respect.

“Not lookin’ to do myself in. Just wanting to drown a bit.”

“Yeah, I knew I should have vaporized you the first time I met you. Felix, you are completely worthless. What have you done with Karl?”

“Karl? Oh, he took off as soon as he found out I was headed for the director’s office.”

“Apparently he has more sense than you. And here you go and walk right in and tell him the one thing most likely to get yourself permanently disfigured. There are worse things than death. You know this, don’t you?”

“I’ve heard.” Felix’s voice was barely a whisper.

“Next time, pay attention to the warning. You won’t get a second chance. He isn’t someone you go getting pissed off. He hurts people for the fun of it.” Josh could see Felix agreed with him but was reluctant to show it.

“So, how bad is it?” Felix asked.

“Haven’t had the little chat with him. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t head straight for Melanie.”

“Oh, God.” The self-loathing in Felix’s tone was obvious. Josh found himself actually feeling a little sorry for the fellow.

“You need to tell me about it, Felix, if I’m going to help her. Whatever you think of me, I am here to help her, not you. Not myself.” He watched as Felix considered his statement. “I was pretty well fucked before you inserted your great idea of going to Peter. So, don’t get all dewy-eyed on my behalf.”

“I wasn’t,” Felix spewed out.

Josh shook his head, “Like I was saying, this was going to be a sad, sad story from the get-go. Now you’ve accelerated it. Now you’ve seen to it Melanie will also suffer.” Josh knew vaporizing Felix would simplify his problems, but he hadn’t the taste for it anymore. He also admitted he still needed the young angel’s help. Problem was in getting Felix to do his bidding and keeping him on a short leash.

Josh started again. “Anger blinded you. You let it consume you and didn’t think once about Melanie. Not once. Why would you activate Peter to protect her? Do you honestly think he will?”

“No. I wasn’t thinking.” Felix wrinkled his brow and cocked his head to the side, his eyes focusing on something far away down the street. He shrugged and sighed. “Damn.”

Josh brought one of his large hands up to the back of Felix’s neck and shook him, then rubbed his fingers through the nest of the young angel’s tangled hair, yanking his head from side to side. “You stupid, stupid sonofabitch. Now we’ve got to make it right for Melanie. That’s all I’m interested in doing right now. You ready to help me this time? Or are you still thinking with your dick-head?”

“Sure you’re not thinking with yours?” Felix said through watery eyes, his lower lip quivering again.

“I’m not going to lie to you.” Josh removed his arm and began to walk. Felix kept stride. “She’s a special person. But she’s human, deserves to stay human. Peter wants to turn her into a sex slave for his own private enjoyment here. He needs to turn her, and he wants me to do it.” He looked at his boots. “If we do it Peter’s way, that’s what you and I are going to have to do. That what you want, my friend?”

Felix didn’t answer as the two of them made their way up the steps of Undertown, down the street toward the limo transport.

“How are we going to stand up to Peter?” Felix asked as they arrived at the transport front doors.

“Somehow I have to convince him I’m going to do what he wants. Right now, I’m not sure how that will happen. He’s got to trust me.”

“No way. It’ll never happen.” Felix shook his head.

“Remember when you were human and you thought about the words ‘always’ or ‘never’? Remember thinking it would be impossible to live forever? It was some story they told you to keep you in line. You didn’t buy any of it, right? You thought you knew everything then, remember?”

Felix nodded.

“I’m thinking, looking for some way out here.” Josh stepped in front of the young dark. He gripped Felix’s face between his hands. “Felix, I’m going to need all my friends to pull this off. Are you with me or not? Tell me true, man.”

Felix brushed Josh’s hands away. “What about Melanie? You gonna go after her? You get to screw her?”

“How about we let her decide, shall we? One thing I promise you—and I think you should take this seriously—I want to keep her human. Everything I’ve got will be to preserve her human form. You with me on this?”

“Yeah.” Felix’s voice was faint.

“Come on, son. Let’s go see her, shall we?”

“You mean I can talk to her?”

“Don’t see why not. How the hell you going to find out what she wants? Ever think about that? You want to hear it from me or from her?”
