“What kind of thing?” Courtney did not bother to think that what took place on Friday night would turn into an everyday thing. She thought it was safe to assume that it would be a one-time or special occasion deal. The only reason she had agreed to it in the first place was because she thought it was just an experiment, a fantasy of his. Mentally, she was not sure she would be stable enough to handle bondage on a regular basis.

“B.D.S.M.” Courtney frowned at her stylist when Maria spoke the acronym.

“What?” Courtney questioned.

Maria twirled her around in the chair to face her. “It means Bondage, Discipline, Dominance/Submission, and Sadism/Masochism.”

Courtney’s jaw dropped at the break down of the acronym. “No, no, no, no, NO!” She knew the meaning of every last one of those words, and she was not about to agree to any of it, no matter how much she loved Fabian.

“I know what you are thinking. It’s not as bad as it sounds.” Courtney turned to her friend sitting next to her.

“And what do you know about it?” Look who she was asking. Was there anything Amber did not know about? “Honey, there isn’t anything I won’t try at least once. You only live once. Let’s just say I have dabbled in submission once or twice.” Courtney turning back to Maria, who just shrugged, neither confirming nor denying that she knew anything about this newfound information.

“And why is this the first time I am hearing about it?” Courtney was disappointed in her friend. They shared everything that pertained to Amber, that is, so she thought. Obviously, she was wrong.

“Remember that night we sat at the bar after the PTA meeting and I started to tell you about that guy I met and that new club he took me to?” Amber gave her a questionable look. Thinking back to that night, it did sound familiar.

“Oh yeah, and you tried to tell me how he tied…” Courtney stopped short in her response when she realized what Amber was attempting to share with her that night.

“You didn’t let me finish the story. You said it was too much for your sensitive ears.” Amber rolled her eyes and turned away.

“Oh my God, Amber!” Now she wished she had let her finish the story. It would probably help her understand what was going through Fabian’s mind the other night.

Courtney looked back at Maria in the mirror and noticed the exchanged look between her and Amber. They were plotting; she just knew it. “If you really want to know what it’s like, we can show you.” Maria was serious as a heart attack, and Courtney thought she was about to experience one. Her heart was racing. What were her friends asking her to get into? She loved her friends, but she was not into women. She was not that curious.

“Not us, but we have some place we can take you.” Maria smirked.

Chapter Five

He had spoken to Courtney earlier that day. She had told him her plans to hang out with Amber and that she had a hair appointment first thing that morning. He was glad that she had plans and was not going to be locked away in the house all day while he was at work. All day long he thought back to Friday night and how incredible the sex was. Eventually he was going to have to give in to his conscience and let that inner being out to play. Maybe, if he changed things up and played it a different way, Courtney would be willing to try again.

“Just one more hour and we can go the hell home.” Orlando always began the countdown two hours before their shift ended. As long as it stayed quiet, he and Orlando would be able to return to the station, clock out, and go home. He could get home to Courtney to try out his newest idea, and Orlando could do whatever, or whoever, it was that he did after work.

“I need a unit in the downtown area to respond to a 415,” the scanner announced. Reaching for the radio on the dashboard, Fabian looked over at his partner.

“Stop counting.” Pressing the button on the receiver, Fabian responded to the dispatcher. “What’s the 10-20?” Waiting for the location, he started the ignition and hit the lights.

“Club Surrender,” the dispatcher responded.

Orlando nodded and smiled. “I know where it is.” Taking the receiver from him, Orlando confirmed they were responding to the call. “4-Paxton-Thomas-2 responding.”

As Orlando gave him directions, Fabian realized they were only two blocks away. During the short drive, he wondered in the back of his mind why his friend was actually anxious to be taking this call. Arriving three minutes later, they pulled up in front of what appeared to be your average night club. The building looked to have two or three floors from the outside. The sign was lit up in blue neon lights that read Club Surrender. It looked to have been kept up well from what he could see in the dark. The building was painted black, the tiny windows were trimmed with silver panels, and the door looked to be made of stainless steel with long rectangular windows. The line out front was short, but it looked like it catered more to A-list clients. The walkway was lined with a red carpet, and the entrance was blocked off by red velvet ropes that the guard at the door controlled. The few patrons out front were well dressed, and the women were dressed to impress, not in skimpy club wear.

“Ironic that we would get a call to come to this club.” Orlando still wore a sly smirk as he stepped out of the high SUV and headed for the front entrance of the club.

Putting the car in park, he shut off the ignition and got out to follow his partner. Contacting the dispatcher via the radio, he spoke into the hand held receiver mounted on his shoulder “4-Paxton-Thomas-2 on the scene.” Catching up to Orlando after jogging a little, Fabian asked the question he had in mind. “What’s so ironic about it?”

Orlando looked over his shoulder at him and tilted his head towards the club as they approached the guard at the door. “You’ll see.” This time Orlando took the lead. “We got a call about a disturbance?”

The guard reached out his hand and spoke to Orlando like they were old buddies. “Good to see you again, Orlando. Yeah, some fool got out of hand with one of the other customers and we had to forcibly remove him. He refused to leave the premises, so some of the guards have him out back. They’ve been keeping an eye on him until you guys got here.”

“James, this is my partner and best friend, Fabian.” Fabian turned to the guard and shook his extended hand. “Good to meet you. I’m surprised we’ve never met before. Your boy over here has been here quite a few times,” James confessed.

Orlando hit him in the shoulder jokingly. “Stop putting all of my business out there. Actually, my boy and I were just talking, and I was thinking of bringing him down here sometime soon to check out the place. Think I can set up a private tour and a meet and greet sometime soon?”

James looked between him and Orlando. “Of course, man! You know who to talk to. See if you can set it up tonight before you go if you have time.”

Orlando nodded and shook the guard’s hand as they made their way inside the club. “We are going to walk through to get to the back. I wanna give my boy here a quick peek before we take the chump in the back off your hands.”

When they walked through the door, the club still appeared to be just like every other club Fabian had ever been to. What the hell was supposed to be so special about this one? The interior was lush and well decorated in white furniture trimmed in silver. Blue neon lights lined the bar and V.I.P. sections to give them an added flair. The table and bar tops were Egyptian black marble that matched the floors perfectly. Techno music played throughout every section of the building. They passed a long hall lined with numerous doors with silver plates with numbers on them as they made their way toward the back emergency exits. Signs lined the walls with arrows pointing out the different sections of the club. The place was bigger than it appeared from the outside. The signs read:
Main Stage, Dungeons, Private Rooms, V.I.P., Restaurants, Restrooms, and Exists.

Everything on the signs seemed normal except the part that read Dungeons and Private Rooms.
What the hell?
“Fabian! This way,” Orlando called out to him from the back door just as he was about to push it open. Orlando had walked on ahead without him when Fabian stopped to stare at the signs. Catching up with his partner, they stepped out the back door to find two security guards, dressed in black suits and ties, restraining a disgruntled man who appeared to be intoxicated. “We’ll take it from here,” Orlando announced to the security guards. The guards told the man to calm down and go with the officers, and that he was not going to be permitted to reenter the club for sixty days.

The security guards filled them in on the details of the disturbance. From start to finish, Fabian took the written report while Orlando wrestled the drunken patron into handcuffs and placed him in their police vehicle. The more the guards described the situation as it played out, he further wondered what kind of club it really was. The guards mentioned the guy harassing the subs and threatening the other Doms, and how he had frequented the club in the past and played with some of the subs but had never created a problem until tonight. They even told him how he had applied to become a member, but after tonight, a membership would no longer be available for him to obtain if he was even allowed to come back at all after his two month ban.

Since they had to make an arrest because the man would not leave voluntarily, Orlando decided to call back to the club to make the proper arrangements for them to return. The majority of the ride back to the station, they rode in silence. Fabian had questions about the venue but thought it would be best to wait until they were alone and off duty. He did not want to make a fool out of himself in front of the man, who they had in custody, in the back seat. He made a mental note to get his buddy to fill him in on all the details before he stepped foot back in that place.

The prisoner was locked away. All the proper paper work had been filed and he and Orlando were free to go about their business for the night. Fabian called Courtney to let her know he was on his way home and that he had an idea for a little role playing when he got there. Orlando told him to have a good night and that they would talk about their return to Surrender tomorrow.

The girls never told Courtney where they were planning on taking her and what she was going to see when she got there. They probably knew that if they told her ahead of time, she would back out. She had to admit to herself that she was a bit curious but still had some inner troubles to work out before she could take a step toward allowing that sort of sexual indulgence into her life on a great level. She was even more nervous after talking to Fabian over the phone and hearing him suggest some role playing. He was in that kind of a mood again. Who was the love of her life turning into?

When she had asked what kind of role playing, he had not answered, but just said she should be ready when he got home.
How can I be ready when I don’t know what I’m supposed to be ready for?
After his little birthday surprise, she could not even begin to assume what he might be up to, but whatever it was, she hoped it was something she could handle.

Courtney and Amber had a long talk over lunch. Amber had been trying to convince her to talk to a professional about her nightmares and the events of her past that had continued to trouble her throughout her adult life. It was hard for her to talk about it, and for damn sure, she did not ever want to have to explain it to Fabian. Being a man of the law, he would want to take matters into his own hands to make it all right again.

“Courtney, if you are seriously considering dabbling as a submissive you’re going to have to talk to somebody so that you can face your fears. If you continue to let this affect your life, then your scum bag of an uncle will always have power over you.” Courtney hated even thinking about it. Amber did everything she could to deliver comforting words, to help her through the tough times, but none of that was helping her heal.

When she was a little girl, between the ages of eight and eleven years old, she often spent time with her favorite aunt, Sandra. Thinking back to it, she realized that she resembled her aunt a lot. Aunt Sandra also could have been her mother’s twin instead of her younger sister. Occasionally, Courtney would spend weekends at a time with Sandra and her husband of fifteen years. They could not have children of their own, and her aunt always thought of her as the daughter she had never had. They went shopping, cooked and baked; they did each other’s hair, nails, and makeup, things that mothers and daughters did together. During her summer break, when school was out, she had more time to hang out at her aunt’s house, so she did. Sandra’s husband, Steven, who was over ten years older than her aunt, worked at night. Her aunt figured it would be ok for her to stay there with him while she worked during the day. Never having had siblings or any children, he came up with what he hoped would be fun things for them to do to keep them both occupied until Sandra came home.

One day, she and Uncle Steven had been out in the spacious backyard of their house playing all morning long. By the time one o’clock hit, she was exhausted, so she went in the house to rest and ended up falling asleep on the couch in front of the television. With her head resting on a throw pillow, she slept on her back with her arms tucked under her head. She felt something touch her lightly, but she assumed she was caught up in a dream. She turned on her side and the feeling stopped. Moments later, unconsciously, she rolled back onto her back where she was more comfortable, and then the feeling came back. At the age of ten, her body was beginning to grow at an advanced speed. She was already in a B cup, drawing the unwanted attention of guys much older than she.

The feeling continued as her consciousness kicked in and alerted her to what was actually going on. Her eyes shot open to find her uncle kneeling next to the couch, fondling her juvenile breast. Jumping back from his reach, she pulled the throw pillow to her chest, blocking his touch and his clear line of sight. Tears welled up in her eyes as fear slowly crept up on her. “Don’t cry. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Her uncle tried to console her and convince her that everything was going to be ok. She had never experienced anything like that before, but something in the back of her mind warned her that it was not ok. When her aunt got home, she wanted to tell her, but for fear that she might have done something wrong to provoke him, she never said anything about it. She was afraid she would be the one to get into trouble.

Days went on and everything went back to normal. She spent most of the summer at her aunt’s house and tried to pretend that nothing ever happened. One day while her aunt was at work, her uncle came up with the idea for them to play cops and robbers. “I’ll be the cop, and you can be the robber.” With his plastic badge and fake gun he came rushing into the room, pretending to catch her red-handed. Taking the plastic handcuffs, he sat her in a dining room chair and cuffed her hands behind her back. “You are under arrest!”

She played along, pleading her innocence. “I swear I wasn’t stealing the fur coat. I found it and was just putting it back.”

Steven laughed at her clever come-back. “I don’t believe you. You’re going to jail.” Standing behind her, he reached out to lift her from the chair and grabbed her breasts with both hands this time. She screamed out. Jumping up to her feet, she turned and kicked the chair towards him. While running to the bathroom, she found the little latch on the side of the toy cuffs to free her hands. She closed the door and locked herself in the bathroom until her aunt came home while crying her eyes out with fear.

When Sandra got home, Steven told his wife that he did not know what was wrong with Courtney, but she would not talk to him nor would she come out of the bathroom. “Court, honey? What’s wrong?” When she heard her aunt’s voice through the bathroom door, she came running out into the hallway. Wrapping her arms around her aunt, she cried against her stomach. “Are you ok? What’s wrong? Are you sick?” Her aunt asked every question she thought she could get an answer to, to find out what was going on with her. Still afraid and unsure if she had done something wrong, Courtney refused to tell anybody what took place.

“I just want to go home. I don’t want to stay here anymore.” Her aunt looked to her husband with concern, and he continued to play like he was innocent and unaware. Sandra figured she was not going to get any answers, so she helped her pack her things and took her home. She never even told her mother the truth of why she wanted to come home, simply explaining that she was home sick and missed her friends, which she did not have many of. Her family still knew nothing about what had taken place at her aunt’s house that summer. No one knew but her and Amber, who she eventually told when the nightmares began.
