“But, most of all,” Sam continued where Mac let off, “for being so reckless last week and endangering yourself with Carly.” His hand landed again and again, his blows measured and hard, giving no quarter.

Ella would have replied, come to her own defense, if she hadn’t been enjoying herself so much. Her ass was on fire and the heat spread quickly to her pussy. She turned her head to see Mac and was even more excited to see him free his cock and stroke his hard length while watching Sam belabor her ass.

“You need a keeper, Ella,” Mac said, his breath harsh. “We’ve decided taking care of you is too big a job for just one man, so you’re stuck with both of us.”

Tears of relief, lust, and happiness streaked her face as she smiled up at him from her ignominious position. “Okay.” Lifting her hips, she accepted the next smack with a whimper.

Sam smacked the under curve of her buttocks and then the top of her thighs. “You’re going to do what we say, when we say it, and keep yourself out of mischief.”

“I’ll try,” she moaned as he landed a particularly hard swat to the middle of her buttocks.

Mac and Sam grinned at each other over her reddened cheeks, the sight of which caused their cocks to stiffen further. Mac lifted Ella up and pushed her to her knees. “Suck me, baby. It’s been too long since I’ve felt your lips wrapped around me.”

Ella knelt on the ground, her shorts still pushed down, her bare, reddened ass and naked pussy on display as she took Mac’s cock into her mouth and sucked him deep. Sam joined them, releasing his cock and grabbing Ella’s hand to wrap around it. She alternated her mouth and hands between them, driving them both crazy and over the edge in no time. The sun beat down on her, the ground was hard on her knees, there were voices nearby of fellow campers that could wander by at any time, yet she didn’t concern herself with any of that. She was where she wanted to be, with whom she wanted to be with, and doing what she wanted to do.

Mac reached down and pulled her tee shirt over her head. “Dammit, she’s wearing a bra.”

“You can punish her next,” Sam gasped as Ella took his cock down her throat and sucked hard while her hand squeezed Mac’s cock eliciting a groan from him.

Sam quickly removed the offending garment in time for both men to come, releasing their sperm on her breasts and face, laving her with their warm essence. Ella groaned as they both massaged her breasts, coating their fingers with their come and then insisting she lick them clean.

A boat sped by amidst catcalls from the occupants. “We need to finish this in your tent, sweetheart,” Mac said as he helped her up.

Laughing, the three of them crawled into the tent; and, within minutes, Ella was sandwiched between the two of them. Sprawled across Sam, she kicked off her shorts, spread her legs, and impaled herself on his still hard cock. She shuddered in pleasure as he filled her completely, and she felt Mac spear her anus with several lubed fingers.

“Yes,” she whimpered with unashamed need as he spread her sore buttocks and slid smoothly up her ass. Impaled by both her boys again felt wonderful, and Ella wept with pleasure and need as they fucked her in their synchronized rhythm and brought her swiftly to climax again and again. Their breathing was harsh in the confined interior, the sound of their bodies straining together and their moans of completion as they came together traveled past the thin barriers of the tent.

“So, Blondie,” Sam said while they were still inside her and she was nestled between the two of them. “Want to move in with us?”

One Month Later

Ella pulled the sheet over the boy’s face and noted the time of death in his chart. Only sixteen and he would never attend his high school graduation. No matter how many deaths she attended, she couldn’t harden herself against the pain when they were so young and died so tragically. He and two of his friends had skipped school that morning and went drinking and joyriding, two lethal combinations. He had been the driver and his two friends were in critical condition. Closing the chart, she looked helplessly at Dr. Anderson, the head trauma surgeon in their hospital.

“Such a needless waste,” he said, his eyes sad.

“Most of them are. Do you want me to come with you to tell his parents?” That was the last thing she wanted to do, but a death like this was hard on everyone.

“No, thank you. The grief counselor is standing by as well as the chaplain. Contact the morgue and then clock out early. I’ll okay it. It’s been a stressful afternoon and, no offense, but you won’t be any good to anyone for the hour left on your shift.”

“Thank you, Doctor. I won’t argue with that,” she sighed and went to call down to the morgue.

This was only her second week on days but the doctors and staff all knew her and had welcomed her with enthusiasm. She didn’t miss the night shift, especially since Mac and Sam were now working days also. Grief over the young boy’s death weighed her down and, as always, there was a niggling of guilt that there was something she missed, something she should have done that could have made a difference. The need to seek atonement for any imaginary or real fault always ate at her after a case such as this. They had worked on the boy for over an hour to no avail, and she was sure that everyone on the team was feeling the same as she.

Ella clocked out and thought of Mac and Sam as she walked out to her car. She needed them to assuage this guilt that was gnawing at her. Then she remembered they would be late today, finishing up a case they had been working on for the past week. She didn’t want to return to their condo alone, so she headed to the only other person who understood her and her needs. She had been so busy the last month adjusting to living with two men, moving and starting a new shift, that she and Melanie had only seen each other a few times and always when Mandy was present. Melanie was still struggling with that relationship, deciding if it was worth salvaging, and Ella didn’t want to factor into that decision.

She still couldn’t believe both Mac and Sam wanted a relationship with her. Both had told her and shown her that they cared for her, and not just because she submitted to them and their desires so willingly. Every day she fell more in love with them, the sex continued to be exciting and was as fulfilling as she had ever dreamed it would be.

True to their word, they attempted to dominate her completely, both in and out of the bedroom. While she acquiesced willingly to all their sexual demands and allowed them to dictate other needs as well, such as her clothing and where and when they were going out, she still had trouble conforming to certain rules, such as no orgasm without permission. She smiled as she fondly recalled their frustration with her on obeying that dictate and their retaliation for her obvious disdain of that rule.

Shortly after they had leased the condo and moved in together, they had shown her the difference between spanking her for erotic pleasure and spanking her for punishment only. She had volunteered at work to put in a few extra hours when one of the nurses had called in with a family emergency. Still not used to answering to anyone, she had neglected to phone one of them to let them know she’d be late. When she got home, both men were worried and then livid when they discovered she had been inconsiderate. A trip over both their knees and then time in a corner with her pants down and no sex that night had made her weep in painful humiliation and remorse. Surprisingly, it had also assuaged her guilt over having worried them. She was hoping a similar experience would ease her grief and misplaced guilt over that teenager’s death.

But that would have to wait, she thought as she pulled into Melanie’s apartment complex. She knew Mandy would be at work and, spying Melanie’s car, she sighed with relief at having caught her at home.

“Ella! What a surprise!” Melanie greeted her with a hug before ushering her in. “I was just thinking about calling you to see if you wanted to meet for a drink when you got off.”

“I could use a drink, Mel, but don’t feel like going out. Can I hang here for a little while?”

“Of course. Sit down and tell me what’s wrong.”

“You know me so well. I’ve missed hanging with you, Mel.”

“Me too, and that’s about to change.” Melanie handed her a glass of wine and sat next to her on the sofa. Facing the sliding glass doors, the sun shone brightly on them, and they had a good view of the landscaped lawn.

“Uh oh, maybe you better tell me what’s going on with you first.” Ella noticed the strain around Melanie’s eyes.

“I finally told Mandy that enough is enough. If she wanted to stay with me, she was going to have to accept you as a major part of my life. We had a fight, and she stormed off to work. I swear, she’s gotten almost irrational since my attack, and I don’t know how to prove to her that I’m fine, the bad guys been caught, and you and I are just friends.”

“She resents how close we are, even though we aren’t fooling around anymore.”

“Well, she’ll have to get over it,” she replied briskly and with final determination. “Now, spill it. What’s happened?”

Ella leaned her head back and couldn’t prevent the tears from coming. “I lost a kid today, just sixteen. He was young and stupid and he died because of it.”

Mel put her arm around her and cradled her against her. “And, knowing you, you’re beating yourself up thinking there was something you should’ve done, some miracle you should have pulled out of your hat to save him.”

“I don’t think I’m good enough to do this job, Mel. I was thinking of putting in for a transfer to the floor, or maybe applying at a doctor’s office. Something that didn’t have me questioning my skills all the time.”

“I can’t believe you would even consider either one of the options. Think of all the people you’ve helped, including those you assisted while working on that teenager.”

“Sometimes the good doesn’t outweigh the bad.” Ella leaned up and kissed her softly on the lips. “But thanks for letting me cry on you.”

Melanie kissed her back, her lips clinging, her tongue slipping inside her mouth to taste her. “That’s what friends are for, and for making each other feel better when they’re down.” Her hand cupped Ella’s breast. “Let me make you feel better.”

“What about Mandy? We promised her we wouldn’t.” But she wanted too, Ella thought. She wanted to feel Mel’s hands and mouth on her, wanted to escape the pain of senseless death, and lose herself in sensation for a brief time.

“Just let me touch you, make you feel better. I’ll explain it to her and then she can touch me.” Melanie pulled up her top and unhooked the front clasp of her bra. Soft lips suckled her nipple, teeth nibbled, and her tongue laved.

Ella felt the tug in her pussy, electrical currents that sizzled through her veins. When Melanie’s hand slid inside her loose scrubs, she moaned, spreading her legs and raising her hips to welcome her invading fingers. “Melanie, please. More,” she begged as she clasped her head to her breasts.

Melanie laughed happily. “You’re so easy, El. God, you’re soaking my fingers, and I’ve just started.”

“And I’m about to combust,” she panted as Melanie thrust a third finger inside her and let her thumb rasp over her engorged clit. “Yes, like that!”

Melanie brought her to climax quickly as only someone who knew her intimately well could. Grabbing her face, she kissed her greedily, groaning against her mouth as her legs tightened around her marauding hand. Senses spiraling, she succumbed to the heat, the raw need clawing through her, and the temporary oblivion she desperately craved. Unfortunately, losing herself in pleasure didn’t make her feel better, didn’t assuage the guilt still eating at her.

“Get your paddle, Melanie. Please,” she added desperately.

Pulling away from her, Melanie picked up the wine from the side table and handed Ella hers again. “I never have, nor will I ever punish you for not being a miracle worker.”

“Even if it’ll make me feel better?” she asked as she stood up and righted her clothes.

“It won’t because you’re a good nurse and you and everyone else in that ER did the best you could for that boy; and, deep down, you know that.”

“Fine, I’ll just have Mac or Sam do it. They’re always willing to redden my ass,” she returned with a smile. Melanie didn’t understand her need, but she did love her so she didn’t push it. “I better get going. They should be getting home soon.”

“I wouldn’t count on them carrying through with such a ridiculous request. They’re smart enough to see the flaws in it even if you’re not. By the way, how are the self defense classes going?”

Ella rolled her eyes as she opened the door. “They’re slave drivers. Everyday I have to practice for ten minutes, no matter how tired I am. But I’m getting the hang of some of the moves.”

“Think I can join you sometime? I wouldn’t mind learning how to defend myself against a mugger.”

“Sure. I’ll set it up. Let’s just hope we don’t ever have to use what we’ve learned. I’m afraid I’d be so scared I’d forget everything they’ve taught me, and then I would get punished!”

Melanie laughed with her. “Like that would bother you!” Melanie kissed her hard before lecturing, “You can’t save them all, Ella. You know that. Some people are just too far gone by the time they make it to the ER. You have to quit being so hard on yourself.”

“I’ll try. Thanks, Mel.” Ella skipped down the stairs, anxious to get home and see if Mac and Sam were there yet. She was so caught up in her thoughts, she didn’t notice Mandy sitting in her car, glaring at her with hatred.

Chapter Sixteen

Only Mac’s Cherokee was in the driveway when she got to their condo. On the way home, she had replayed their efforts, especially hers, to save the boy from his horrendous injuries. Logically, she could find no fault in anything she had done, nor could she think of anything she could have done that would have made a difference. She realized that her way of dealing with such tragic deaths was to shoulder some of the blame and knew she would have to work on overcoming that if she intended to stay in the ER. If she couldn’t, she knew she would have to transfer out.

Mac greeted her with a scowl, asking tersely as she entered, “What the hell were you thinking?”
