Author’s Note

It has been fifteen years since I first put pen to paper and what a bumpy ride it has been.

This was my first attempt at incorporating the paranormal into my work.  It took more than a few tries to get it the way it ended up… I wanted desperately to do it right.  I even gave up on it a few times before the idea occurred to me and I got it sorted out!

Telling the backstory via dreams (and the prologue) isn’t the most ideal but it made the story work.

I hope that you enjoyed what I still consider
my baby
as much as I enjoyed telling it.
