“Yes and hell yes. But, Sis, let me do me. You made the introduction, now let me take it from here,” Trina told her.

“Bitch, please.” Tasha waved her off. “Kyron, can you come here? My sister wants to talk to you,” she yelled.

“Tasha!” Trina was tempted to snatch her sister by her hair.

Kyron stood, towering over Tasha. “What’s up, shorty?” He and Kendrick were also dressed in jeans, sneaks and T-shirts.

“My sister. I want y’all to get acquainted. So go and talk to her.” Tasha walked away, leaving him standing there, watching
her sashay away.

“Kyron, you might as well come on and get this over with. Mrs. Matchmaker is not going to let this go,” Trina told him.

“I see. But check it. You fine as hell and no disrespect, but I’m diggin’ shorty. And Kendrick, well, he would like to get
to know you.”

Trina’s mouth was hanging open.

Tasha was now seated in front of Kendrick, who had a wide grin on his face. He asked her, “You want some of this?” He held
out the blunt for her to take. She took it from him and took a couple of pulls before handing it back. “That’s all you want?”

“Want? That’s all I need. Ever since I had Caliph, I haven’t been able to indulge the way I used to.”

“Caliph.” Kendrick mulled over the name. “Shaheem and Kareem. What that nigga Trae know about twins? I think he’s been hanging
around the Santos clan too long.” Kendrick laughed. All of the Santos family was brown-skinned with curly hair and light eyes.

“Obviously he knows something. Because I sure had them and was scared to death with Caliph and prayed that another set of
twins was not going to happen again.”

At the bar, Trina finally got ahold of herself and burst out laughing. “That’s good for that chick. I wish I could be a fly
on a wall when you let her know that. But damn, Kyron, I don’t know about that. Actually, the more I think about it, fucking
with my sister is only gonna get your feelings hurt and everybody’s emotions involved. It ain’t gonna be good.”

“My feelings hurt?”

“Yeah.
Your
feelings. Niggas go crazy over her. Then what about Trae? I’ma be straight up. She’s not gonna leave him for you. And then
what happens when Trae finds out? What about your brother? And Angel? Have you thought about all of them? I don’t think it’s
worth all of that drama.”

“Let me worry about all of that.” Kyron cut off her soapbox speech. The speech that he was not interested in hearing. “I didn’t
ask her to leave him.”

“Okay then. Do you.”

“Thank you.”

They both headed back into the lounge area. Trina plopped down next to Kendrick and Kyron sat down next to Tasha, who was
trying to get Trina’s attention. But Trina was purposely ignoring her and refused to look Tasha’s way.

“What happened in there, Kyron?” Tasha asked him since her sister wasn’t being cooperative.

He leaned over and whispered in her ear, “Kendrick likes her and I don’t think she’s feelin’ me like that.”

Disney World ended up being a blast for everybody. They spent the day acting like kids. They rode on all of the roller coasters,
visited the Tower of Terror twice, watched a Muppet show in 3-D and didn’t leave until the theme park shut down.

When they returned to New York Tasha continued hiding out at Kyron’s. So far nobody seemed to suspect anything. But Tasha
knew that wouldn’t last long and she started looking for a place.

Today Kendrick and Kyron were riding through Spanish Harlem reminiscing.

“Yo, son, remember this C-Town right here? We used to go in there and steal shit, just because.” Kendrick laughed at the memory.

“Remember your little four-eyed girlfriend, Rosa? She lived on this block?” Kyron teased Kendrick.

“Man, stop hatin’. Rosa wore glasses but she was smart and she was hot. You know that. And she did my homework all of the
time.” Kendrick tried to defend his little childhood sweetheart.

As they headed downtown and stopped at the next light, there was a ruckus involving a big black fat dude who was slapping
his chick around. Both Kendrick and Kyron noticed that the girl being manhandled was Trina. Kendrick threw the car in park
and shut it off, and before you knew it he and Kyron were pulling fat boy off of Trina, who had a black eye, a ripped blouse
and no coat. She was obviously dizzy as she tried to get up off the ground.

“Fatts, what’s up? Why are you beating on a girl?” Kendrick asked his onetime block rival. Of course Trina was surprised that
Kendrick knew him.

“K, get the fuck off me and mind your business,” he spat. “Trina, get your trick ass in the car. Better yet, hell to the naw!
Kick rocks bitch!” He snatched away from Kendrick and Kyron and grabbed her fur jacket off the ground.

Trina jumped up and charged at Fatts, her left hand slipping into his coat pocket and coming away with his car keys. She ran
over to the Cadillac Escalade.

“Don’t let that bitch take my truck.” He broke away from Kendrick and Kyron, only to be put in a choke hold by Kyron.

“I don’t want this raggedy-ass truck. Just give me my shit out of the trunk,” said Trina.

“Let him go, Kyron,” Kendrick ordered. “Let her get her shit out of the trunk, Fatts.” He snatched her mink jacket out of
Fatts’ arms. He was holding on to it for dear life.

“He can keep that cheap-ass jacket. I can buy me another one.” She grabbed two suitcases out of the trunk and tossed his keys
in the sewer.

“You bitch! You stinkin’ bitch! Don’t come crawling your dumb ass back. I’ll spit on you before I let you back in this time.”

“Fuck you! You fat nasty bastard!” Trina spat as she crammed her suitcases in the back of Kendrick’s ride.

“Where y’all takin her, man?” Fatts asked Kendrick, who was already walking away. Kyron shoved him out of his way and followed
Kendrick. They jumped into the car and it sped off.

“Just drive me to JFK,” Trina snapped.

Kyron looked back at her swollen face. “You want us to drop you off at the hospital?”

“No, I’ll be fine.”

“You want me to call your sister?”

“No! Please. Please don’t tell her about this.”

“Yo, where that fat nigga keep his stash?” Kendrick glanced back at Trina through the rearview mirror.

“Here’s some of it right here.” She unzipped one of the suitcases, revealing stacks of loot.

“That nigga ain’t gonna let you get away with that,” Kendrick told her.

“He’ll have to find me first. If I tell you where one of his stash spots is what’s in it for me? You got me or what?”

“You already have the answer to that,” Kendrick said.

“You can’t go through the airport with a suitcase full of money.” Kyron was back on that.

“I got this. Just get me there and promise me you won’t tell my sister. I want to do something right this time. I’m going
to Cali, getting me a place, and doing something right for me for a change.”

Kyron kept his promise and didn’t tell Tasha about their meeting with Trina and Fatts. It was a weeknight and Kyron was bored
so he snatched Tasha up and they were now in a limo on their way to Atlantic City to gamble. Kyron had stuck a
DJ Juice Video Blendz
DVD in and it was playing in the background.

Tasha had rolled herself several joints and was ready to get her party on as well.

Kyron was a wine drinker and had them both sipping on some merlot. Tasha had smoked a half a joint and had to put it out.
“Damn, that’s strong.”

“Shorty, c’mon now, a half a joint? You killin’ me, Ma.”

“I’m high enough, Kyron.”

“What do you mean you high enough?” He lit one of the joints, took a pull and held it out for her.

“No, Kyron. I’m good, I told you.”

“No you ain’t. Come here.” He grabbed her by her wrist, put the lit end of the joint in his mouth, leaned over, and gave her
a shotgun.

Tasha inhaled deeply, holding the smoke in her lungs for as long as she could before choking and releasing the smoke. Tears
were running down her cheeks. “Okay, Kyron, that’s enough.”

“See, now that’s what I’m talking about.” Kyron had a smirk on his face. “Now, give me one.” He passed her the joint and she
returned the favor, and he gave her the same reaction she had given him.

Tasha started laughing. “I don’t know what you’re laughing at, it’s your turn,” he told her.

“No it’s not, Kyron. You can’t get but so high. And I think I’m there,” she giggled.

“No you’re not. We just getting started.” He gave her another shotgun. This time his lips touched hers and it sent jolts throughout
both of their bodies.

Kyron put the joint out and lit another one. This time he blew the smoke up her nose and then had her return the favor. By
this time Tasha was wasted and it felt surreal to her when he pulled her up to straddle his lap.

“Give me another one,” he told her. She did even though it was clumsy. “Okay, now I think you had enough. You about to burn
us up.” He took the joint from her and put it out.

“I told you I was done,” she said, feeling as if she were floating. “I am fucked up,” she sang with a silly grin plastered
on her face.

He leaned over and kissed her on the lips. She was startled at first and then she started giggling. “Ohhh, we gonna get in
trouble,” she whispered.

He kissed her again, longer and harder. “Who’s gonna tell?” he whispered back.

“I don’t know, but we’re gonna get in trouble.”

“I don’t care.” Kyron’s lips were now on her neck and his hands were rubbing up and down her thighs and massaging her ass.

His lips were tickling her neck, causing her to laugh. “Kyron, we can play but we are not fucking.”

“Why not?”

“Because.”

“Because what?”

“Because I said so.”

He had unbuttoned the top two buttons on her blouse and was glad that she didn’t have on a bra. He began working his magic
tongue on her nipples. When her breathing went into a steady rhythm and her fingers began running through his hair, he knew
it was on.

She ain’t laughing no more.

Kyron knew that his tongue game needed a patent. It was that point. Her sexy moans confirmed that.

Tasha’s pussy was tingling and twitching and she was creamin’ in her jeans. A few seconds later she was coming. Kyron began
unbuckling her jeans and she stopped him. Out of breath and sweaty she said, “No, Kyron.” And climbed off of his lap, feeling
as if she was sobering up.

Damn, an orgasm from getting my nipples sucked! What if I get my pussy and clit done!

She lay back, stretching onto the leather seat, contemplating whether to ask him or not.

Kyron followed Tasha’s movement and climbed on top of her. He wanted her to feel how hard he was, which only scared her. She
tried to push him off of her.

“I thought you said we could play?” He was now kissing her neck and grinding on her pussy.

“Get off of me. You are playing a little too fast.”

Kyron grinned, got up off of her and sat back. He grabbed a joint, lit it and watched her button up her blouse and jeans.
He passed her the joint and poured her a glass of wine.

The limo slowed to a stop in front of the Borgata Hotel. Before getting out they finished off another joint and glass of wine.

“C’mon, shorty, it’s time to get our gamble on.” Kyron got out and held the door open. “Shorty, come on.”

Tasha started giggling and then burst out laughing. “My legs, I can’t move my legs.”

“C’mon. Get out.”

“I’m serious. I can’t move my legs.”

Kyron sighed. “Can you put your coat on?”

She started laughing. “I think so,” she slurred.

Kyron got back in and helped Tasha put on her coat, then he pulled her out of the limo and carried her into the hotel.

She whispered into his ear, “My legs are drunk, Kyron.”

“I got you.”

“Am I too heavy?”

“Relax, shorty. I got you.” He tuned Tasha out as she rambled on—about what, he had no clue. He got their room key and stepped
onto the elevators.

“This elevator is nice,” Tasha slurred. There were two ladies on the elevator with them. One of them was carrying her shoes
in her hand. The other one couldn’t stop drooling over Kyron.

“He is fine, ain’t he?” Tasha giggled. “He wants to fuck but that ain’t happening. I don’t care how fine he is, or how hard
his dick gets,” she told the strangers, who only drooled much harder, causing him to blush.

Kyron was glad when the elevator doors opened and the ladies disappeared. When they made it to their door Tasha was dozing
off. He opened the door to their suite and laid her across the bed.

“Shorty, c’mon, we’re supposed to be here to gamble.” Tasha mumbled something, balled her body up and went to sleep. “Ain’t
this some shit,” Kyron said as he counted up some cash and headed for the craps tables.

Tasha was downstairs at Angel’s in the living room, watching TV and fooling around with a Sudoku puzzle. It was almost eleven.
Kaylin, Angel, their son Malik and their baby daughter Jahara were all upstairs. She had decided to come over here to get
away from Kyron for a few. At least that was her intention until the front door opened and he came waltzing in. She was seated
in the La-Z Boy wearing a pair of sweats and a buttoned-up pajama shirt. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she was chilling.

When her cell phone rang she checked the caller ID and it was her sister, whom she hadn’t heard from in a minute. “Damn, where
you been hidin’ at?” Tasha asked Trina, while trying to ignore Kyron’s presence.

Kyron took off his jacket and laid it across the arm of the chair. He had on a turtleneck and a pair of slacks and a pair
of black-on-black Stacy Adams shoes.

“I got a surprise for you,” Trina bellowed.

“What is it?”

“I live in California,” Trina yelled, unable to control her excitement.

Tasha was speechless. “You what!?”

“I live in Cali. I got me a place. I’m signing the papers in the morning and then I’ll be on my way up there to see you. I
love it out here!” Trina squealed. “And oh, Kyron is finally letting them throw him a welcome-home party and Kendrick invited
me. We
are
going, right?” Trina had been trying to get in with Tasha and Angel ever since the two of them had met Trae and Kaylin.
