Ryan laughed. “Right again, lady. I sure can’t.”

“Bob and I are getting married, and we’ll be moving to a new location.”

“Congratulations, Martha. I hope for your every happiness and would like to know how it turns out for Will. I’m afraid it’ll be a very long road for that little guy. These things really hurt a child.”

They parted amicably and Ryan drove away chuckling. “I wonder what’ll happen if a pedophile rears his ugly head in her new community?”
