He turned and gently pulled her over the back
of the sofa into his lap. “I’ll answer if I can,” He said. The
curiosity burned in her eyes as she looked into his. Her mouth
quirked in a smile.

“I saw Rudy in the garage on my way up,” She
began. “Do you want to tell me why he told me to thank you for his
