"But you trust me!" Brock cried.
"You. And only you."
"Fine. Go. You will have to pass him in the damn hall."
There was a knock at the door.
"No. I will not."
As Daniel stormed to the bedroom window, Brock blinked in awe. "What the hell are you doing? That window is thirty stories above the damn ground."
Daniel gave him a pained look. "You do ask too many questions."
Rushing to him, Brock grabbed his arm. "Please come here tomorrow night. Please."
Before he left, Daniel cupped his face and kissed his lips.
When he leapt out of the window, Brock screamed in fear.
The door was being pounded heavily. Brock pushed the screen wider and looked down. Daniel had vanished. "Holy fuck!"
Dazed, Brock stumbled to the living room to open his door.
"Jesus, Brock!" Eli shoved him back and closed it. "Did I come at a bad time? I did, didn't I? Is he here?"
"No. He just left."
"Look at the state of you? Jesus Christ, is that come?"
Brock peered down at his chest. "Yup. All mine."
"You have to be kidding me."
Heading to the bathroom to wash up, Brock stood at the sink and used a washcloth to scrub himself.
"That can't all be your come."
"It is. I have multiple orgasms from him."

"I see he had a good slurp." Eli pointed to his band-aid.
"There's dried blood on your shoulder."
Leaning over the sink to look in the mirror, Brock wiped it off.
"Love conquers all? You stuck that on your mirror?" Eli pointed to it.
"My mirror, my computer, my car dashboard..." Brock nudged by him to put on some clothing.
"I'm sorry. I really got concerned after the way we left things earlier. And when you didn't answer the phone I thought the worst. I didn't mean to interrupt you guys." Eli looked around. "How did he leave? He should have passed me in the hall."
"He jumped out the window." Brock zipped his jeans, not bothering to put on a shirt. "It's only nine? Christ, I could have had him for another four or five hours!"
"Let me go home. I'm sorry, Brock."
"I told him to stay, but he's deathly afraid of someone hunting him down. I think he's had some bad luck in the past." Brock gestured for them to go to the living room. "You want a drink?"
"No. I'm fine."
"Have a seat." Brock turned on a light in the living room.
They relaxed on his leather sofa set.
"I really don't want to stay too long, Brock. I'm beat. And believe it or not, Gary is waiting for me back at my place."
"Really?" Brock laughed.
"Yes. What can I say?"

"Nothing. We both are insane when it comes to relationships."
"No shit."
"Well, that's different. If you want to head home."
"You mind?"
"No. I feel bad that I made you take a cab here only to have to go right back home. I should have answered the phone, but Daniel's cock was in me and, man, I wasn't about to move."
Eli started laughing. "I can't believe that was all your come. It couldn't be."
Raising his hand, Brock said, "Swear to God."
"Holy shit. I can't imagine that."
"Believe me, you can't." Brock walked him to the door.
"I'm sorry that you made the trip, Eli."
"Hey, it's five minutes in a cab."
"You want me to call one for you?"
"Why bother? They're all over this area at night."
"Okay, Eli. Thanks again."
"Sorry I fucked up your night."
"He said he'd be back tomorrow."
"Did he ever tell you where he went?"
"No. There are some things I can't get answers to."
"I hear ya. Okay, so, racquetball tomorrow noonish?"
"Yup. Take care." Brock waved to him as he stood near the elevator. Once Eli had entered it, Brock shut the door and sighed unhappily.
Shutting off the light in the living room, he flipped one on in the bedroom and found Daniel standing by his window.

"You're back!"
"He is a good friend."
"Did you listen to our conversation?" Brock crossed the room and wrapped around his waist.
"I did."
"Good. Then you can see he's supportive and you have nothing to worry about." Brock kissed him. "Now let's get back in bed. We have 'til dawn." He began undressing Daniel.
"I did not notice you had that sign."
"What sign?"
"I heard your friend say you had posted a sign in the bathroom."
"Oh, that." Brock felt his cheeks blush. Removing Daniel's shirt, he tossed it to drape over a chair, next working on his button and zipper.
"Do you believe it does?"
Brock maneuvered Daniel to sit on the bed so he could pull off his boots for him. "What does?"
Daniel grabbed Brock's jaw to make him look at him. "I am asking you if you believe that love conquers all."
"It's my new mantra." Brock urged him to stand, yanking Daniel's slacks down his legs.
Once Daniel was naked, Brock removed his own jeans, tossing them in the pile on the same chair. "Where were we?"
"Making love."
"Mm, that's right," Brock chuckled. "I almost forgot."
Backing him to the bed, Brock toppled Daniel onto it, resting on top of him. "I'm glad you didn't leave. I thought you really jumped out of the window. You gave me heart failure."

"I have to be careful. You understand."
"I do." Brock kissed his chest, licking at Daniel's nipple. "It won't get hard."
"No. It won't."
"Bummer. Why does your dick?" Brock held up his hand to stop him and answered his own question, "Magic."
"You are a clever man." Daniel grinned.
Inhaling Daniel's armpit, Brock moaned, "I wish you had a smell."
"You do?"
"Yes. I love the smell of a man's sweat. Or the scent of his hair, his neck, his balls, his ass ... ohhhh," Brock groaned, sniffing at Daniel's odorless skin. "I wish I could smell you when you were human. Can your magic do that?" When Daniel didn't reply, Brock looked at him. He had that melancholy expression again, like he was remembering something profound.
"Come under the blanket with me. Be my teddy bear."
Brock stood, reaching out his hand. He was glad the comment made Daniel smile.
Once they were snuggling under the blankets, Brock hummed contentedly. "Daniel, I wish things were different."
"How so?"
"I wish you were human and we could live together. Take trips together ... you know."
Again Daniel didn't respond.
"Should I shut up?"
"Not as long as you do not batter me with questions. I do not mind listening to you speak."

Brock rested his cheek on Daniel's shoulder, stroking his chest gently. "Do you like it when I touch you?"
"You know I do."
"Good." Leisurely, feeling sedate and content, Brock ran his fingers from Daniel's sternum to his belly button. A soft purring sound reached his ear. It sounded just like a cat. "You are adorable." Brock tried not to laugh, but it was hard.
Touching Daniel everywhere, his shoulders, his arms, his sides, his hips, Brock heard that lovely purr and enjoyed making him happy. "Has anyone ever touched you like this?"
"No. Are you beginning your interrogation?"
"Sorry. I can't help it. I just crave to know everything about you."
"Why?"
Brock leaned up on his elbows to see Daniel's face. "You still don't get it? I guess it has been a long time since you've had human kindness."
"I have never had human kindness."
"Even when you were one?"
"It was worse when I was one."
Seeing the pain in Daniel's eyes tore through Brock's chest. "You have it now. As long as I am alive, I will adore you."
"Even though I have taken your blood?"
"Yes! Do you ignore everything I say?"
"I just find it inconceivable."
"Look, maybe we both just lucked out that night in the club."
"How so?"

"Well, you found a satyromaniac."
Daniel's eyes widened in curiosity. "What on earth is that?"
"I'm a sex fiend." Enjoying the expression on Daniel's face, Brock added, "Don't you get it? There was really nothing you could do to me that would shock me. Well, perhaps the bloodletting did a little at first. But didn't I accept it quickly as your fetish?"
Daniel didn't reply, and his stare did not alter.
"Think about it, Danny. If you had met someone like Eli, and bit him? He'd have gone nuts."
"I would kill someone like him. Too much trouble."
"Exactly." Brock paused and reconsidered delving into that comment. "Anyway, but you didn't. You found someone who lived and breathed orgasms. Fate. Destiny. Whatever. You found a human who wants you regardless of who you are and what you do. That's called unconditional love, Danny."
As Brock watched, Daniel's eyes began to glow an intense jade green. "Wow!" Brock breathed in awe.
Daniel grabbed Brock's face in his hands and kissed him.
Brock's cock stood at attention, instantly throbbing and eager. But the kiss! It was different. What was solely lust had become something more. And Brock couldn't believe what he was reading from it.
Daniel rolled on top of him, pinning him down, his tongue was dancing around Brock's, lapping at his teeth and lips.
Brock felt him deepening it, holding behind his head, urging Brock closer as if it were possible to get any tighter together.
Their two cocks were rubbing against each other. Brock was humping Daniel as the spinning in his head commenced.

To Brock's astonishment, he heard Daniel utter, "Oh, lord help me, I love you."
The words sent Brock reeling. He wrapped around Daniel and clamped onto him, rolling them around on the bed.
Pulling back from him for a breath, Brock ran kisses all over Daniel's face. "I love you! I love you so much! Oh, Daniel ...
Stay with me. For as long as my one mortal life, please, never leave me."
"My love, my pet," Daniel crooned, running his hands all over Brock's back and bottom. "I will be yours. I will. No one has ever meant anything to me. I did not realize how alone I was until I met you."
"You will never be alone. Do you hear me!" Brock emphasized. "Never! As long as there is breath in my fucking body I will be here for you."
Tears started running down Daniel's cheeks. Brock tasted them, expecting saltiness, but there was no flavor. "Shh, all right, lover. Don't cry."
"They are tears of joy," Daniel sobbed.
Yearning being one, Brock spread Daniel's legs and dove between them with his cock. Arching his back, the fire blazing, Brock gripped Daniel like iron and thrust into him.
When the orgasms began, Brock groaned in agony. "I love you. I love you..."

had ever suffered was being ripped from his body, Daniel felt agonizing pain. The last tears he cried before he met this man were those of a child being beaten in the year 1560. Not since then had he shed a tear.
Wailing uncontrollably, Daniel felt both physically ill and supremely divine. The depth of care and devotion he felt from and for this man was causing him so much anguish he didn't know what was happening to him. Gripping him, wanting to feel him breathe, hear his heart, taste his sweat, Daniel clung to Brock like a child who feared the night. That cherished voice, whispering his love, his devotion, was beyond anything Daniel could have imagined.
Rolling over so he was now on top, Daniel looked down at Brock's expression of complete nirvana as his cock throbbed and gave up its sperm, filling Daniel, completing him.

The sunlight spilling into the room woke Brock. Slowly coming around, Brock felt a warm body in his bed. Sitting up in shock, he looked down at Daniel. "What the?"
Checking the time, he found it was nearing eight in the morning. "Daniel?" As Brock lowered down to see if he was breathing, he caught a scent. Sniffing around like a bloodhound on a trail, Brock stuck his nose into Daniel's armpit and inhaled. A delicious masculine aroma filled his senses. "Yes!" He snuffled around, lower, lower, until he was burrowed under the blankets. "I don't believe this!" Brock gasped. "That is so incredible." He inhaled Daniel's genitals, feeling his skin prickle with delight. "I love your magic."
Sighing with pleasure, Brock rested his head on Daniel's chest within range of his gloriously scented armpits. Brock wanted to lap at them with his tongue it was so appetizing a smell. Letting Daniel rest, Brock closed his eyes. Hearing a loud beating heart, Brock touched his own chest to see if he was listening to his own pulse. No.
Brock sat up in shock. "Daniel!"
He didn't stir.
"Holy shit! The sun!" Brock jumped out of bed and closed the slatted blinds. Pulling the curtains over them, Brock panicked that the daylight would harm Daniel.
Climbing back onto the bed with him, Brock shook him.
"Danny?" Gently he touched his cheek. When he felt a light 195

stubble on his jaw, he pulled back in surprise. "What the hell's going on here? Danny? Can you hear me?"
After a great effort, Brock noticed him stir.
