those Spanish texts.

The section called “People Walking Away” is a heavily edited version
of
Antwerp
, which has been translated by Natasha Wimmer (New Directions,
2010).
I am incredibly grateful to Natasha for allowing me to use her translation
here.
The edits I have made reflect the differences between the two Spanish
versions, but the underlying work is hers.
