Tulpas

Tulpas is the inner watcher that displays when a watcher changes to their preternatural self, without hiding. It’s an emotional state of being, with the common trait of their eyes turning black as their senses heighten.

Tunnels, The

A network of tunnels  runs throughout  the

underground of the city sectors. Most tunnels are sealed by a cave-in, or by the Militia; with some locations still unknown. The better known ones are under Sector One Central Command, which is sealed off from the public. These are used specifically for detaining norms after initial processing, before they are sent to a camp for reprogramming or extermination.

Visions

Visions are classified as a foretelling of the future, or pre-sight into the present or past. Only those with Seer abilities have the gift of vision. It is said the one who has the Seer is the one who controls the war, and the future, hence the reason Julianna Rae is sought after.

Walkers

The walker is blessed with a long life, minimal aging and strength. Even the watcher is fearful of an angry walker. The walker stems from the gladiator bloodlines of the ancient world. There are few full-blood walkers left due to breeding with normals.

Watchers

The watcher is the known serpent of the preternatural world: cunning, charming, intelligent, and hypnotic, with more abilities than any other preternatural in existence. The watcher is the “King of the jungle” with only the walker to match in power, and cunning. Watch a room full of people turn silent, as the watcher enters in confidence. They are the creature to be feared, but revered. The watcher clans hold the majority of seats in the Ancients High Order, four on the Senate, and six on the Council, giving them a huge sway over votes on all matter of issue. The watcher is also known for their dark humor, they’re the preternatural class clown, but their humor is usually at the expense of an unfortunate other.

Whisper

The
whisper
is the most common of all ability of a watcher, where they have the ability to implant their own thoughts into another’s mind. It is a common way for a watcher to communicate with their own, by whispering to the other in their mind, so others cannot eavesdrop.

About the Author

For the moment, I live on some acreage in a small farmhouse near Ballarat, not far from where I grew up. I grew up in a rough neighborhood, with not much chance of succeeding in life. The odds were mounted against me. If you read my blog, I have a dedication to the person who lifted me away from those odds, to show me that dreams can become a reality if you believe in them enough and work hard. That is the key: perseverance and old fashioned work. When I’m not writing, you can find me immersed in music and photography. You can follow me online just about anywhere, and I will always welcome you with open words, and a huge smiley face.

Thank you for reading my books, I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey into the city sectors as much as I.
