“What’s up homeboy?” Barron greeted Toby.
“Not shit stranger. What’s been up with you?”
“What the fuck is your problem?” Barron asked feeling the shade rolling off of him.
“Ain’t shit wrong with me. You the one been so far up ole girl’s uppity ass that you ain’t had time for your boys.”
“There you go. You and Davey starting to whine like some little bitches because I been missing for a whole week. Damn we not joined at the hip you know. I do have a life outside you guys.”
“I know you got a life and so do I.”
“Then why the fuck are you tripping?”
“I’m just saying, you don’t even know this chick like that. You moving her in your house. What the hell? You playing house and shit, like really?”
“Why is it any of your business who I move in my shit? And as for playing house, hell I’m having a damn baby with Mya. She ain’t just some random hoe off the block.”
“How you even know that she even keeping it 100 with you right now? The pussy that good that you can’t even see reason.”
“We already been over this.” Barron really didn’t want to hear any more doubts over the paternity of the baby. At the beginning his boys kept up with the constant questions and nagging about whether it could be Damon’s or any other random dude’s baby.
“You said it yourself, you don’t care for that nigga Damon always being around. All the papers don’t lie. They always being photographed together. Folks got questions and you would be a fool not to question that shit. She must got both of y’all pussy whipped!”
“You hating on Mya like you want to be with her.”
“Don’t get it twisted like a nigga jealous or something.”
“Shit you act jealous. If I didn’t know anybody I’d say you wanted to be her.”
“That bitch got yo nose so wide open you talking out the side of your neck right now!”
“Whoa! What the hell is going on in here?” Davey asked.
“Just jogging his tainted memory on how money thirsty hoes get when they have celebrities on the hook.”
“They got pictures of her all over the internet between you and the other dude Damon calling it a love triangle. Even the blogs are questioning who the daddy is to her baby.”
“Fuck the blogs, they don’t know shit!” Barron defended.
“Man even her lil home girl says they been fucking since college when they lived together for a period of time.” Davey said nonchalantly.
“WHAT?!”
“Figures. But you swear up and down she’s so damn innocent.”
“Shut up!” Barron shouted at Toby being fed up with his jabs. He had a fight to prepare for but he was too busy defending his… whatever he had going on with Mya.
“Now what did this friend say exactly.”
“Anyway, the chick Kim told me some juicy little dirt on Miss Shit-Don’t-Stank! She told me she even bragging about being pregnant by you to them. Like she was rubbing it in their faces that she ain’t got to work no more. It was a dream come true when the condom broke and she looks forward to being paid for the rest of her life.”
“That figures. You were just saying she wasn’t just some random hoe off the block. Looks like she’s a professional hoodwinker.” Toby prodded.
“Look at this shit, that bitch got you snapping on your boys. Hell we been with you since the beginning. Ain’t that a bitch!” Davey added his two cents.
“You got one more time to call her a bitch, a hoe, and anything else disrespectful.” Barron snapped. He was so damn angry but for the life of him he couldn’t figure out if it was because of how they were bashing Mya or fear that the things they said were true.
“What the hell is going on in here?” Thomas asked making his presence known. Barron was mugging the two bubble heads like he
could knock their heads off their block any minute now. “Whatever is going on, just know this is not the place.”
“Whatever.” They both said with a snarl.
“Baby boy, it’s time to get into your zone. You can’t let ignorance throw you off focus. You ready?” Barron didn’t respond he simple walked away but not before he punched the speed bag with such force it broke off.
“It’s not a good idea that you two be here. I don’t know what just happened but y’all need to bounce.” Thomas reasoned.
“Who died and made you the boss?” Toby snapped.
“GET. OUT!” They heard Barron snap before he was completely out of their view. Deciding not to further poke the bear they rolled out.
When Barron came back from changing into his workout gear, he was still steaming. From an outsiders viewpoint he was working out like a madman, his legs pounded as he ran on the treadmill. The weights fared no better as he would lift like he was lifting the weight of the world and then chunking them with too much force. Sadly all the while going through the rigorous workout he wouldn’t utter a word of what was on his mind. For three days he went about his business pretending nothing was astray. No one could get through to him conversational wise. He conceded that this hostility may only help at this stage.
If it wasn’t for his hormones raging for Mya’s touch, he would be at peace to be pissed. It would make the fight just that more entertaining. Unfortunately he needed some female companionship but who he wanted is too far away and hadn’t made any attempts to contact him. Just as that thought left his head there was a knock on his hotel room door. He was relaxing on the bed staring out of the window into the distance wondering what Mya was doing right now. The constant tapping was pissing him off that whoever it was on the other side wasn’t getting the picture that he didn’t want to be bothered. Swinging the door open, he wanted to bitch slap himself because he was so not in the mood for this visitor.
“Hey
Papi`. Happy to see me.”
“Naomi? What are you doing here? As a matter of fact how the hell did you know where to find me?”
“So many questions but the one I have for you is are you going to invite me in?” Barron just walked away not attempting to be a gentlemen. Taking a seat on the chair to prevent her from sitting next to him. He waited for her to get to the what, why, and how she was here.
“Come with them answers Naomi.”
“My, aren’t we impatient.” She purred.
“…”
“I’m here to support you Barron. Isn’t it obvious? I’ll always be there in your time of need. And it’s pretty much common sense how I know. It’s not hard as a celebrity to find another celebrity when you have connections.”
“Nothing is exactly
obvious
with anything dealing with you Naomi.”
“Ahh baby, you’re so cranky. Let me loosen you up.” She attempted to massage his shoulders.
“Nah I’m good.”
“Come on
Papi. I saw how much you missed me when you opened the door. Let me help you release some of that pent up energy.”
“I said I’m good. Watch out.” He snapped trying to pry her hands off of him. He was in the mood just not in the mood for her.
“What is your problem? Ever since you have been spotted with that
girl
you have been blowing me off.”
“Be honest I quit fucking with you well before anyone knew anything about Mya.”
“What I’m trying to figure out is how did you supposedly get this broad pregnant? Even with me being on birth control, you never fathomed the idea of going without a rubber.”
“You damn right cause I can’t trust no damn body but my damn family.”
“So you telling me all the time we were together was for what? Nothing? I refuse to believe that. You had to have felt what I felt for you.”
“And what the hell was that? Relief that it was over because that’s what I felt.”
“You don’t mean that.”
“Uh yeah, I do. It was almost like a business arrangement not a love connection. Let’s be real. You enjoyed being attached to my name.”
“I love you Barron but obviously your head is too caught up in that little tramps ass that you can’t see a real woman in your presence. That hoe probably doesn’t even know who the father of her baby is.”
“You don’t even know what love is lil mama, let’s be real. If so your legs wouldn’t have been spread for others in the industry right after our so called breakup.” At her sudden intake of breath Barron chuckled darkly. “Oh you thought I wouldn’t hear about your activities. Furthermore, aren’t you quite the little pot calling the kettle black while she isn’t here to defend herself?”
“It doesn’t matter who I was with after we broke up. I’m pretty sure you weren’t going without.”
“And you would be right.”
“I can’t believe you are choosing that skank over me.”
“I’m not choosing no one over you. But you are not a contender, contestant, nor a factor in the moment so why does it matter what I have going on?”
“…”
“Exactly good night Naomi.” Barron opened the door in cue that it was time for her to leave. For some strange reason he had a feeling that this would not be the last time he had to faceoff with Naomi.

Naomi left Barron’s room with so much on her mind to sort out
but she refused to that without some serious alcohol. When she first got the call from the Toby fellow that runs in Barron’s crew she was shocked because she could have sworn they didn’t care for her. Well Davey maybe because she had given him a taste of her specialty but she had seen Toby’s disdain for her from the giddy up. Even though he didn’t like her he still found a need to call her and persuade her to come to Miami in hopes of wooing him back under her finger. Obviously his dislike for this fat chick far outweighed his dislike for her. She didn’t give a damn one way or the other where his loyalties lies. She just wanted Barron for herself. There was no way in hell that she would allow some nobody to take what she considered as hers. And Barron was indeed hers, he just didn’t know it yet.
“What the hell are you doing back down here so soon?” Speaking of the devil, she thought to herself.
“He wasn’t buying it.”
“Dammit.”
“Why is this so important to you?”
“Because the bitch has him trapped with this good girl act. A baby? The way he protects her is a clear sign that it won’t be long before he settles down completely with her.”
“Barron is not the settle down type.”
“With everyone else, that would be true but with her…” He growled.
“You act like you want him.” His frown deepened. “OH HELL NO!” Naomi snapped.
“Would you shut the hell up? What is the matter with you?”
“You’re a fag!” She whisper shouted. A few patrons in the bar overheard what she said and they frowned at her choice of words. “And you’re crushing on your best friend. That explains a lot.”
“That explains nothing because that is ludicrous. Lower your voice.”
“Ludicrous my ass. It’s very evident now. Does Barron know you’re gay? Hell does Davey know? He can be quite the homophobe.”
“You would know since he has tapped that a few times. Tell me does Barron know that you have been fucked by someone in his own camp right before he slid in.”
“Fuck you!”
“Not my type you skanky bitch.”
“I forgot you don’t like
fish
.”
“Yo, what’s up
boy?” Davey spoke to Toby with a hand slap. “When did you get here?” He asked Naomi with a once over.
“Earlier. What hoe type rock did you just slither from under?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know?”
“Not really.”
“Enough. I could care less about you two going at it like some rabbits but we need to discuss how to get rid of this cow.”
“COW? That’s the best you could do. Gayest insult ever…”
“I couldn’t agree more.” Naomi taunted while Davey laughed.
“Whatever let’s get on with it.” As they plotted and schemed neither of them noticed they were being watched from a distance. The eyes in the corner wondered what drama the three stooges could be up to.

Barron continued on with his week pushing his doubts about Mya to the back of his mind. He couldn’t deal with the constant nagging from people around him about his personal life. Questions were filling his brain, the answers had him worried, and confusion of his true feelings were driving him mad. Why did everything that they said about Mya bother him so? Mainly because if the answers were not what he hoped he knew he would be furious. The question he had for himself was why though? Why would he be furious if Mya turned out to be everything that others have said about her? Wouldn’t he be happy because he didn’t want to be in this predicament in the first place? Always picturing the day he had his first child he would have been happily married to the woman who fit his personality.
He was floating on autopilot with too much bullshit going by the time Mya called to wish him good luck on his match. When the phone rang he thought about answering to get some of the answers that has been haunting him since they were last together, he hesitated instead. There was actually longing in his heart to hear her voice and he could have sworn he heard a mixture of emotions in her voice when he later checked his voicemail. His hand itched to return the call but his pride wouldn’t allow it. Besides he had just gotten comfortable with the rage simmering below the surface. His boys steered clear of all conversations regarding Mya or his unborn. Everyone pretended nothing had ever happened but for the time being they were being watched with a careful eye.
The thorn in his side was none other than Naomi
Clarkson. She was everywhere he was. Currently she was sauntering around the arena as if she was the soon to be Mrs. Anderson. Although his mother had never met her face to face she didn’t care for her so Barron knew she was a no-go. Ebony didn’t like her one bit nor did she hide that fact having expressed her dislike in Naomi’s face on several occasions. Thomas thought she was the biggest prima donna that he had ever encountered. Barron would be lying if he ever said he saw long-term qualities in Naomi such as she has stated on several occasions. The feeling just wasn’t there. Men are not known to fake it until they make it but alas Barron would rush to a release during sex to be done with her as quick as possible.
The slow caresses, sensual kisses, and intimate embraces he showers upon Mya, other broads
could only wish he was that gentle. Toby and Davey was right in that department, he bucked and ducked. Hitting it from the back, watching the chick down on her knees from above, and definitely no open mouth kissing was allowed with any of his past partners.
Why he did it with Mya? Anybody else’s guess was as good as his, he just felt extremely comfortable. He wouldn’t lie and say he has never gone there like that with anyone else but it had been a while. Officially Barron had only been in three or four serious relationship of sorts with Mya being the last and technically they weren’t even together. What possessed him to slide her into receiving relationship type of benefits from him?
