Patti Hill lives in Colorado with her husband of thirty years, Dennis, a garden center owner, and their pacesetter dog, Tillie. Her grown sons, Geoff and Matt, live and work in the Northwest. Cramming seven years of college into twenty-two, Patti finally earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature in 1995—only three years in dog years.

Her life's journey has led her through amazing opportunities—teaching Bible studies, participating in puppet and acting ministries, serving as a volunteer in her community, and meeting the most amazing short people as an elementary school teacher. And, of course, she cherishes her years as chief laundress of the Hill household.

Inspired by a writing class with Lauraine Snelling, Patti now lives her dream of being a novelist. Her first novel,
Like a Watered
Garden
, was a finalist in the first-novel category at the 2006 Christy Awards. A
