His heart was open to her and she could feel his nervousness.  Her big, bad vampire would give her the world if she would be with him. 

"Will I have to become like you?" she asked, curious.

"Yes, Max.  I convinced myself I needed to have it out face to face with you.  But I think I just really wanted to see you again."  She stroked his hair and he looked so happy and content that she could almost swear she could hear him purr like a cat. 

He held her close and took a deep breath, inhaling her scent.  "I need you, Kelly."

She felt his rock hard erection against her thigh and sighed.  "I can feel that you do."
