Oh fuck.

“Have you always been gay? Maybe I was just a ploy so you didn’t have to tell the guys at the station. It was awfully easy for you file for divorce. Makes sense now. Was it just too hard for you to keep hiding it when I brought a warm and willing
male
body into our bed? Or could it be that pussy just doesn’t do it for you anymore? Maybe there’s something special about sticking your cock into a tight fucking asshole. Is it the stubble? Smooth, soft skin just doesn’t get the same reaction from you now?”

“Carlie,” I edged forward but she stepped back again.

“Oh no, no way. You wanted to talk, I’m talking. Oh yes, we
both
know how talented that
cunt
can be with his tongue. What? I can’t make you come as hard as he can? You like it a bit rougher?” She reached forward and gripped my cock in a tight fist. My breath caught in my throat and I sent a silent prayer to the skies to protect my manhood. “Squeeze a little tighter, suck a little harder, fuck a little faster? Is that it?”

I clenched my teeth together.

Never hit a woman. Never, never hit a woman.

“Carlie, that’s enough, I know you’re hurt but…” Carlie didn’t let Zach finish, but she did let go.

Her eyes narrowed on him, “You stay out of this, you’re nothing but scum. I know you’re just trying to protect your latest fuck-toy but let’s face it, you’ll be done with him in a few weeks anyway. What difference does it really make if I break it now? Huh? It’s not like I need it anymore.”

She shook her head and closed her eyes as pain flashed across her face.

“It doesn’t matter. None of it matters. You mean nothing to me. But Blake, we’re done. I cannot and will not,
ever
, forgive you. I actually still thought you’d come back to me and I would have let you. I would have waited. How pathetic is that? You said once, though you probably won’t remember, that you’d never let me leave you. Well, now, you don’t have a choice.”

“The papers are signed, Carlie. I already left. I’m sorry. More sorry than you can possibly imagine. I never wanted you to find out like this. This...I didn’t do this to hurt you,” I tried to explain, knowing that my words were meaningless to her.

She moved to walk around me to leave but I had to stop her, I grabbed for her hand. She threw her arms up and swung back, “Don’t fucking touch me!”

“Vete a la mierda, coño. Haces mi piel arrastrarse. Voy a la ruina a usted, Blake. Su chico bueno reputación. Tu vida. Su carrera. Sobre,” she spat. “¿Valió la pena, Blake? Su culo debe estar maldita puta especial. Más apretado que un monjas…”

Fuck you, cunt. You make my skin crawl. I’m going to ruin you, Blake. Your good guy reputation. Your life. Your career. Over. Was it worth it, Blake? His asshole must be damn fucking special. Tighter than a nun’s...

Her feet shuffled backwards.

Zach called, “Carlie, be careful!”

I was too caught up in my own drama, too blind, too fucking selfish, to notice how close she was to the fire escape.

I could have stopped her.

I could have done something.

I could have done
anything.

Too shocked, too scared, I stood in horror and watched as her heel caught in the metal grate at the top of the stairs and her face froze with fear. Her arms scrambled to catch herself.

Then, like she’d made a life-changing decision, peace swept over her features.

...And she let go.

THE END…

Of book one ;-)

Book Two - The Only Man

available for pre-order on Amazon now

Book Three – HIM (The story from Zach’s point of view) will be available later in the year

There is so much more to come from my two favourite boys in book two! I hope you get chance to finish their story with them.

HIM – the story from Zach’s point of view, will not be a word-for-word replay of their story. For obvious reasons, there will be scenes the same but it is mainly a chance for you to get to know Zach a little more and give you an insight into his version of events.

I am terrible at acknowledgements.

Each book, there are countless people who help me out with everything from cover design to promotions and I can never find the right words to say to explain how grateful I am.

I usually just end up offering my thanks in the form of sexual services! Quoting Annie Hughes – I have an endless amount of ‘sex-debt’!

But this time, I’m going to give it a shot and actually try and use my words to say thank you.

Annie Hughes – ‘
Annie Hughes is my hero!’

Thank you Annie, from the bottom of my heart, for all the help you have given me with this book. Five hour phone calls, rants that go on for days, formatting, promotions, teasers & contacts…you’ve done it all for me. Meeting you has been the turning point with writing, for me because you’ve given me back the enjoyment that I had lost. The knowledge that you’ve gained from the industry in the short time that you’ve been writing has been invaluable to me and you are
officially
my soul sister. <3

Ewelina Rutyna
– I haven’t got around to offering you thanks in the form of sexual favours yet so this will have to suffice! Thank you so much for jumping in at the last minute and rescuing me with the edits for The Other Man. Your comments and changes were perfect and I wouldn’t be hitting publish at all without you <3

Sarah-Jane ‘Boobs’ Bookham
– I have no words. I sat for nearly an hour trying to think of the right thing to say for you and came up blank. You’re the most helpful, amazing friend that a girl can ask for and I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me. Your comments and suggestions for the story are so perfect and you never fail to come up with something special.

Thank you for always being, saying and doing everything I ever need and for keeping me sane when I was losing it. Love you Boobs <3

K T Fisher, Laura Barnard, A E Murphy, Kirsty-Anne Still and Amy Beth
– You girls have become the support network that I never knew I needed. Each and every bit of advice that is passed around, helps in some way. I love each of you to the bottom of my soul and you all should know that whatever you need, whenever you need it, I’ll help you if I can. (If you ever mention this in future, I’ll deny I ever said it!) <3

Elisia Goodman (Dedicated Ink)
– Thank you for all your support over the last year and for my amazing covers. Everyone loves the images you built and you should be incredibly proud of them.

And finally…
Bloggers
. All of you. Each and every single one. The job you do for nothing more than your love of reading is INCREDIBLE. A special thank you to all of you who have been involved in the promotions for The Other Man. I hope and pray that you enjoy Blake’s story and you are looking forward to reading the next one to finish his journey with him <3
