Girls learn foreign languages much more rapidly and accurately than boys, a difference that is maintained throughout life.

Women are characterized by a more vivid mental imagery than men.
·

·
Girls do better than boys, on the whole, in those school subjects that depend largely upon verbal ability, memory, and perceptual speed.
·

·
Insofar as school progress is concerned, girls are consistently more successful than boys. Girls are less frequently held back, more frequently advanced, and promoted in larger numbers than boys.
·
In school grading, girls consistently do better than boys, even in those subjects that favor boys.
·
Girls obtaining the same achievement test scores as boys consistently had higher school grades than boys.
