She snapped her eyes open, and Mike had
trouble containing his smirk.

Annie lifted herself to straddle his
waist and look into his eyes, her hair falling down on either side
of her head as determination radiated from her. "I would wait two
thousand years for you."

He grinned. His hands slid along her
waist and under her T-shirt.

Everyone who did not live on the ranch had
gone home and, even though Westley and Chris were still working
with the miniatures while Brock tended the barn with Bud, they had
perfect privacy on their little spot just beyond the
trees.

Her cheeks warmed under his
sliding touch. He grinned.
Finally

"Good, because I would wait two thousand
years for you, too."
