She loved pumping her car in and out of the
corners going fast and then sometimes slow, fast, fast, slow and at
times dropping the clutch and revving the rpms up to drop another
gear leave off the clutch and slam the gas enough to light the
tires up chirping them and giving it all hell on the straights;
allowing the engine to rev high and grabbing the next gear right at
the break of redlining slamming both of them back into the seat
with every gear change. This woman was a master of cars and men;
her ability to manipulate and play both of them whenever in the
heat of the moment sent both into higher performance than anyone
else could do.

As they ripped into the parking lot she spun
the car around and around for a moment and then pulled in. As she
got out of the car she texted Galechka: Hey, we are not alone.

Galechka texted back: Are you sure?

Adela just looked at her and smiled; she
could sense a predator with its blood stalking nose on their sent
and eyes locked onto them somewhere out in the shadows. Knowing it
was lurking she chose to ignore it and deal with business. Galechka
got in close with her as they passed through the hall way and
whispered, “Is that why you did all the donuts in the parking
lot?”
“No dear, I wanted to do that; I sensed it as I was backing into
the parking spot.”

“Are you sure?”

“I am and it is a monster that is going to
be hell to deal with.”

The girls straightened themselves up to look
like a CEO and COO of a world famous pharmaceutical that
specialized in synthetic blood and clotting agents for
hemophiliacs. This company sold to most of the world’s largest
hospitals that were looking for alternatives to the limited and
often contaminated blood supply. Adela was very proud of the
success that the company has had in renovation and finances.

They did the usual meet and great and tried
to get it over as quickly as possible, the looming threat outside
was on Adela’s nerves. She could also feel that Galechka was
stressing and worrying about John, at this point Adela felt bad for
this monster if it went after him; John has come along far beyond
what she had hoped and knew that this was not an ancient, but a
lower minion that did all the dirty work. Adela knew that what was
coming was only the first wave and she could feel her blood boiling
in her veins anticipating the inevitable fight. She envisioned her
ripping his heart out through his chest just like he did to her
poor, poor, sweet guardian.

As Adela pulled into the castles drive, they
both kept their eyes peeled peering into the darkness trying to
pick up on anything out of place or placing its self to pounce on
them on a moment of distracted unpreparedness; this was their way
and Adela was all too familiar with the tactics about to be used on
her, but they had no idea what her and John could do and she was
going to keep it that way. For now on the trainings would be for
show and played way, way down.

Galechka motioned to John to come up the
stairs with her leading him into the bathroom and started running
the bath water to cause background noise and began to whisper
straight into his ear as low as she could,” John, we are being
tracked and you need to not show your true strength so that they
have no idea of what is coming when they attack.”

John nodded as she spoke allowing her to see
that he understood. She continued with,” All of your training with
Adela and you are not to even use half of your abilities and the
same for her.”

Everyone in the house was on guard, but
would they really attack or were they just spying on them? This was
the real question, because she could only sense a few beasts and
vamps not of any great power with their prying eyes on her coven.
She was enjoying her new senses. She was lusting for a good old
blood fest as long as she could keep her coven safe.

*******

John was woken my the smell of food being
cooked in the kitchen and made his way down to the enticing smell;
he was starving more and more and it was becoming more and more
difficult to feel like he starving. He was hoping that whoever it
was that they had cooked enough for him too.

As he came around the corner he had seen
Adela with her hair tide up into a pony tail leading from the top
of the back of her head just like a teenage cheerleader. She had on
skin tight black latex short that molded and showed of her
impeccable derriere that more and more was causing John huge
amounts of temptation, especially the way she was swaying and
moving it around to the music seemingly innocent and erotic at the
same time. Her full rounded, tight and perfectly sized for her
small frame swayed and moved to the beat of the music she had
playing in her player, completely had John drunken on lust; he was
not sure he could ever hold back if she came at him even if he
loved Galechka so much.
Adela spun around shocked and surprised by John standing behind
pulled out her ear buds, revealing that how perfect her breasts
were in the tight blue sports bra she had on sending John’s mind
into over drive said,” How long have you been there?” Completely
shocked and taken off balance by this.

“Long enough,” John smirked.

She through the dish towel that was right
behind her at him,” Oh, I see long enough to get a nice show.”

“I am not complaining.”

She just smiled and looked at him with her
devilish blue eyes,” Maybe someone wants to play?”

“No no, I was just playing; I could never I
have Galechka you know.”

She winked at him smiled and spun back
around to continue her cooking while making sure to through her hip
and bounce on her toes a little to make her bottom bounce and
flex,” I see the Guardian bond is just too strong for little me to
break.”

“Ah, why would you want to?”

“Oh, I don’t; I am just being playful,
unless,” she left out a little giggle to show she was playing,” you
need to eat.” Fidgeting her hips for a little show.

“Ah, maybe I should go upstairs?”

“What did you take something the wrong way?
What a mind on you; I just want to feed you; I really do not think
she feeds you good enough, but you could come over here and give me
a hand.”

John went over and was helping her dice up
some vegetables for a salad she was making freeing her up to work
more with the stove; she was making steak, eggs, and salad at this
time in the, oh wait yeah it is night time. John’s clock was a
little off and realized in the normal world this would be time for
supper not breakfast.

He could barely keep himself from laughing
as he watched Adela bopping to music to the music next to him from
time to time bumping her hip into his; she was so cute, hot, and
completely not the person he remembered meeting. He loved watching
her smile and rock her head to the music as she cooked. It was
nice, because Adela was always a steady person and Galechka you
never knew what you were going to get from her.

“Damn,” John said under his breath.

“What,” she said pulling her ear bud out to
realize the scent of blood; before even completely looking she
said,” How bad is it?”

“Not too bad.”

“Let me see”

Adela now facing him took had his finger
only inches from her mouth; it was a small cut, just a few
droplets. He could see her thinking as she was looking at the blood
on his finger, she bit her lip before saying,” Let me have a
taste.”

“Ah, a taste?”

“Yes, just a small taste and don’t worry I
am not like the youngsters. “She paused for a second,” I want to
see if I have gained the ability to read people memories through
blood.”

“See memories through blood?”

“Yes, some of the ancients can do it.”

“Um, I guess,” he said as he shrugged his
shoulders,” you can try, but can it hurt me?”

She shook her head and took his finger into
her mouth with her eyes closed, sucking on his finger and playing
with it with her tongue causing John to begin to become turned on
even more. If she made his finger feel like that, what else could
she do with that amazing mouth? She continued to suck it for a few
more seconds and pulled it in and out a little before pulling it
out and kissing it on the tip.
“See all better now.”

“You are incredibly devilish.”
“Well thank you, but sad thing is: I can’t see memories and I was
really hoping to.”
“Why is it so important?”

“I want to know the truth about a few things
and know our origins.”

“So you would need to feed from an
ancient?”

“That was the idea, but I have more bad news
for you.”

“What’s that?”

“I now know how good you taste,” she said as
she smacked him on the ass with a dish towel.

She started to run away and he took the bait
and chased right after her. She was giggling and squealing as he
chased her around the kitchen, as he began to grab for her waist
she turned a one eighty and somehow she ended up with her back to
the center island and John picked her up and sat her rump on the
counter as she wrapped her hands around his neck and they both were
pulling into each other; both looking into each other’s eyes
wondering what it would be like with the only being that was at the
same level as each other. You could see the yearning in both of
them.

“Stop stop, I can’t Galechka,” John pulled
away and Adela pulled him back and stole a kiss.

She held him close and looked him in the eye
before whispering,” She doesn’t see what she has in you; you are
not only a powerful man, but a true and endearing one.” She shook
her head in disbelief,” I wish your Guardian bond was with me and
not her.”

Adela bounced off of the counter and
motioned for him to take a seat,” John, I know that most of the
time I am acting like a young lust full girl, but you need to know
that you and I are getting ready to fight a really serious war;
these men are going to doing any low trick they can to win, that is
how they always win.”

John thought to himself as she was walking
away with that unbelievable strut she had: I would love to play war
with her.

“I tried silly and you stopped me.”

John sat there for a second and realized
that she could read his mind so he thought to himself: We could
communicate and no one would know, couldn’t we.
“Aha,” she replied,” well you could to me, I couldn’t let you know
anything other than by body language, but keep in mind another
ancient may have the same ability.”

“How would I fight a beast that could read
my thoughts?”

“Shut them out like you do with me when we
are fighting.”

“I shut you out?”

“Yes you do,” she grabbed her and his plates
and set them down onto the table.

After she sat herself down, she started to
pick up her utensils to eat with; she paused and decided to tell
John,” You do know: your biggest weakness, don’t you?”

“Ah, are you going to try and be funny?”

“Sadly, not at all, I am about to let you
hear something that you may not want to hear; Galechka is your
biggest weakness.”

“Oh, don’t start with this, I love her and,”
he gets cut off mid-sentence by Adela.

“Listen to me, it was the same for every
guardian, if they get their hands on her, we are done. They did it
to my guardian and as far as we could know it is how they did all
the others.”

John now sitting up and not liking what was
being told to him; this meant: Galechka was the number one target
and not him. How could he live with this fact? He had never thought
about this until this point. He knew Adela was coming from the
heart and not just trying to cut into his relationship.

He asked,” What do we do about it?”

“You don’t worry and think she abandoned you
when she runs; I have given instruction to her to find the best
hiding spot and to stay there. John, none of the others know,
because I do not trust anyone other than Galechka and Vitaliy.”

“Galechka doesn’t really talk much about the
coven to me, so I have no idea about anyone. I thought she was
keeping me away from them, so I wasn’t a tasty temptation to
them.”

“Funny you said that, because you have
called me a tasty temptation a few times in your mind.”

“That’s not fair.”

She stuck her tongue out and continued
with,” I’ll be your T.T if you’ll be my T.T,”

“Wow! That sounds wrong and dirty in so many
ways.”

“Eat up, we have to go do a few things to
day, and John if she is not with me she needs to be with you, the
storm is brewing.”

The night was strange in every way
imaginable, the animals were restless, some of the younger coven
had decided to go out to the city in a group, Vitaliy was walking
around the house looking for places of entry, and Adela just seemed
a little too happy; John thought: maybe she was looking forward to
this bout. Maybe it was a long time coming for her.

Galechka was in her room reading like she
liked to do some times and did not like being bothered when she was
reading lately; before she would gladly put down the book for a few
moments and talk to John, but now she was edgy a lot with him. He
did not really know what to do to make her happy. The more he bent
to her whims, the more she was unhappy and disrespectful with
him.

John was outside looking up at the sky and
just wondering what was the meaning of life, if there was one and
why was it all so crazy instead of simpler. Truly a thing to think
of a world with: humans, werewolves, vampires, and now guardians;
who truly could have thought up all this mess and bring it to
life.

Adela was starting to believe that they were
just being watched, but the attack would not happen until they had
more information about the coven; she knew they liked to be sure of
everything beforehand to ensure an easy victory, but they had a few
things up their sleeves that she was not going to let get out.
